Experiencia negativa: They will sign you up for an auto renewing paid membership against your will. Are they able to cancel it in the store where they forced this upon you? No. Will the online account they create for you where you need cancel the membership work? Again, no. Will the customer service number they require you to call to cancel your membership be answered by anyone? Absolutely, not. Launch this shady consumer abusing company into the sun where it belongs.

Experiencia negativa: Who ever the guy working there with the beard and a serious gut issue, truly needs to re-think his job choices or life choices. When I walked in he wasn’t greeting anyone or me when asked questions, yes he’d answer them but it felt rushed and forced like he didn’t want to be there or want to interact with anyone. Also Went in Saturday 4/18/26 to buy games for my Switch 2 and a case and honestly cause i don’t know anything about switches felt like he took advantage when purchasing the games, he threw on “mandatory” 1 year warranty and when I noticed it he had told me that all new games automatically come with a warranty, shrugged it and truly believed him. Now knowing it was all bullshit, truly some GameStops have fallen out and have been shut down to these type of people working there truly killing the experience of going to buy games.

Experiencia negativa: I bought supposedly a new ps5 access controller 3 days ago they delivered it same day but it is definitely used .buttons were outta order and it’s missing a few stickon pieces and the next day they tried to use my debt card for 26 dollars but my bank declined it! Experiencia negativa: Me and my 10 year old son walked in this store looking to buy a ps5 because his ps4 finally kicked the bucked. I was appalled when we walked in and were ignored by every single store associate. It was not that busy and they all looked the other way. As we walked around I was expecting an Associate to come up and introduce themselves or ask if we needed help, how ever not a single associate came up the entire time we were in the store. Every single game stop ive walked in I have experienced nothing but smiles and eager workers looking to help gamers game. Apparently not this one. I recommend going somewhere else for your gaming needs.

Experiencia negativa: We waited in line since 6am for the Pokémon drop. When we finally got in, they asked us to have pro membership accounts. Even though last drop that wasn’t even required!! I tried to put in my free game stop account but they wanted me to upgrade so I can buy these Pokémon black and white packs!! Money hungry location, screw the manager!! They should’ve aleast put a sign telling us that a pro was needed to purchase these Pokémon cards instead of just letting us know how much is in stock! There are little kids/parwnts who can’t afford game stop pro accounts.

Experiencia negativa: I went in to ask about the Switch 2 and the guy working there was like "no, and we won't have any for months" with attitude. I know there's probably a hundred people asking a day but a simple "we're out at the moment" would've been chill. Saying there won't be any for "months" was also a bit of a stretch. Again, I know they're hard to come by but not having any for "months" is a little excessive

Experiencia negativa: Came in to get a headset because the website said it was in stock and on sale. Went into this location and found exactly what I was looking for. The price tag had the sale price reflected on it and the rack it was sitting on had a 20% off sign over it. Took it to the front to check out and the little child working the front desk says he can’t give me the sale price because they changed it in the system. Went to Target instead

Experiencia negativa: I have went to this location on and off, but decided to switch to Westroads. I had to go in this store a few different times this month, last few times though I’ve been having issues with most, if not all of the employees here. From being forced to get a warrantee to them almost forcing a sign up from my friend even though they barely shop here. She was using my pro account. There is this female that works there too, I think her name is Stephany or maybe it’s Selena. Either way, she doesn’t seem to know what she is doing. She was quite rude a few times to some of the customers when I was in there. Ignore the ones that didn’t want or have memberships. But then focused mainly on flirting with my friend and didn’t answer any of the questions I was asking. I will never be back here.

Experiencia negativa: If I could give a -5star rating I would. I tried to return a used headset my son had bought at this location from Liz and as soon as I said ‘return’ she said “well your kids refused to buy the warranty” and laughed at my face. I read the receipt to her where it said I was still within my 7 day return policy and she got aggressive and said she was calling the police on me if I didn’t leave. I said I wasn’t doing anything, and wanted to return and she stopped talking to me and called the cops. She also lied to the police, but it’s ok I have a recording, I never even raised my voice or was in that store before. The first time I was ever there I never entered the store, only my sons who brought her damaged items. Second time I was there I actually went inside the store to return and was kicked out within less than 5 minutes. I believe she buys damaged items from her friends and sells them like that knowingly and then refuses to take them back when people realize they don’t work. On a good note, the guys at the Bellevue store told me I was right and well within my time to return and I didn’t need a warranty. This Liz is going to get your store shut down. She must be stealing. Way too aggressive!!

Experiencia negativa: They must have gotten lost their previous manager & employees. The service is TERRIBLE now. Went into the store looking for God of War for PS5 & Pokemon Violet for the switch; I was just completely ignored by 3 employees. The way they have the store set up there is crazy, no clear lines to the registers. They only have 2 registers so why wasn't the 3rd employee helping customers? I left after 20 mins & went to Target instead. I'm 48 years old & shop at Gamestop to help keep them afloat but if they aren't even going to try to offer the slightest customer service why bother. I'll just start buying via Amazon or buy my games digital.

However, this is irrelevant as the staff is as amazing as the core of the store itself which is it's customers! Experiencia fantástica: Alex is by far the most amazing gamestop REP I have ever encountered. 100 times better then his boss John. Alex helped me through all my difficult problems and went out of his way to make phone calls and get my stuff back after his manager screwed everything up. He stayed 45 MINUTES past close to help me with my return. Alex went above and beyond and deserves some praise! Alex should be the boss! He at least deserves a raise or some recognition for his great customer service.

Experiencia negativa: Where do they find their workers?!?! I have yet to have had a sales associate or management that works with a sense of urgency. I get helping people & discussing games but know your crowd and multi-tasking also essential. Associate added game warranties on my used games without even asking. I didn't notice until I looked at the receipt once I got home. I would put his name on here, but I'll give him the benefit of doubt this time. If it wasn't for their 7 day return policy on used games, I would never shop there...so if that policy ever changes I'll never return. For now, it's one of the only few places to finds certain games.

Experiencia negativa: Went in to buy a couple games tonight. I was shopping when my 5 year old grandson needed to use the restroom. He was denied access to their restroom. That was outrageous 5 yeats old tend to wait until the last minute before admitting that they need to go to the bathroom no compassion or common sense to send us to someplace else for him to do his business... no he didn't quite make it.. this GameStop is garbage.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible place i went to sell a tablet i got one price on phone and when i got there the girl only wanted to give me half of what was quoted then i decided not to sell it to her and she had already set up my tablet for the sale it took 3 hrs for her to figure out how to cancel the sale while i had to wait there very unproffessional. Will not be dealing with this store again

Experiencia negativa: "New" games are open and stored separate from their original packaging. That is no longer "new" in my opinion. Sales pitches for used games and memberships are far too relentless and aggressive. Employees seem embittered by the requirement to sell and gain a belittling attitude at the denial of a pitch.

Experiencia negativa: If you're a Pro member please watch your points when trading in games. This happened roughly two years ago, but was never resolved. I was told by the store manager that I had enough for a $10 Nintendo eShop card and asked if I wanted to redeem it. I told him I did not want to at the time. I checked my account page a week later just to find out someone had used it two days after my visit.

Experiencia fantástica: A clean and relatively well-organized store - pretty good selection, perhaps a little overrun by POP! figures but a lot of pop culture places are these days. Sometimes I find neat regalia or Pokemon and Marvel merchandise here. When I've gotten pre-owned games, they worked just fine. The staff is a lot nicer than some other video game stores I've been to, as well, which is a big plus.

Experiencia negativa: This is the place that I never felt I “belong” there, probably because the policies or staff attitude. I purchased two preowned games- one didn’t work, and another was not expected. Tried to return them the next day, but was rejected because I lost the original receipts. GameStop would be eventually out of the business. Why it is still like in the 90s and never improved?

Experiencia negativa: I know it's not the staff's fault but it is utterly ridiculous their trade in values vs their used values. Something they give you 5 bucks for they sell for like 30. I stopped trading in and sell things on FB now. I even stopped buying from here unless it's a preorder.
