Experiencia fantástica: Came to send off some collectible cards for grading for the first time. Staff was awesome, supportive, and informative. Explained the whole process patiently. Wasn't busy at the time, so I was basically in and out in no time. Will definitely come back if I come across more cards to grade. Wish me luck on my grading.
Experiencia fantástica: On the last day of the Member's-only "Pro" Sale, my GF and I drove out of our way to visit this specific location as they were the ONLY GameStop in the Omaha area with ANY Rockband games for the Wii/Wii U! Those games are/were Rockband 5, RB World Tour, and RB Van Halen. Their sale price on all used games was, "Buy 2, Get 1 Free." Well, a few days before this visit, I'd purchased the only other Rockband game (RB 3) in town at a different store. Usually, you have to purchase all 3 used games in a single transaction at the same store, but the employee was VERY understanding and provided us with EXCEPTIONAL customer service!!! Thank you again!!!

Experiencia fantástica: We came in about 15 minutes before closing Jeff is the best GameStop employee I have ever dealt with. I’m not a GameStop “person” Jeff has excellent customer service skills and even helped us save some money as well as get some benefits from our purchase adding the pro membership. I have been in multiple times and Jeff is the only guy id like to deal with at this location. He goes above and beyond and should be recognized for it. Far too many retail associates get passed over and not acknowledged. READ THIS JEFFS BOSS 10/10
Experiencia negativa: On 11/18/24 I Placed an online order to pick up some items from this store, received the confirmation email, as well as the email saying it was ready. I got to the store and the employee working was more worried about her personal call than even acknowledging that I walked into the store. After 5 minutes of waiting she finally finished her call and I told her that I was there to pick up an online order. She said that she didn’t see any orders and that she couldn’t help me. I showed her my emails and then she called their help line or something and reaffirmed that there’s nothing that can be done. Then for some reason she started pulling the order and put everything I purchased behind the counter. I asked if I could take it now that it was pulled. She reaffirmed that I couldn’t have it. I again showed her the confirmation, ready for pick up, and even the charge on my card for it and she just shrugged it off and said sorry you gotta wait or call the customer satisfaction line. I have never dealt with such terrible customer service. If it’s not ready tonight, with hopefully a different employee working I will not be using GameStop again due to this situation.

One reviewing some document on the computer that she felt impressed to complete rather than cash us out. The 2nd employee, who'd been closely monitoring our visit, once we were ready to ring out, became immediately engrossed in returning product to the shelves without a second glance. Experiencia negativa: I am never going to any GameStop ever again, I purchased a brand new PS5 controller from there ( even though they’re more expensive there ) because of the ease of there protection plan, I went in today to exchange my controller out because the battery is dying faster then it should be and they tried giving me a used controller and trying to say that this is what the protection plan is, and if you don’t like it then leave. I called a couple other stores to confirm if this is true and all of them including the store manager Drew confirmed it after he cut me off and hung up on me. I will never go to another GameStop and I’ve been a customer of there’s for over 20 years and have already deleted my GameStop account that I have had for those 20 years.

Experiencia positiva: Let me start with the positives. Best GameStop in Omaha, I’ve been going here for like maybe 5 or 6 years. They always are super clean and they are always nice when it comes to selling games and or consoles what be it. I can always count to find things I’m looking for and the pre owned games are always in good condition. They give pretty good value for things of course depending on condition. What kinda sucks tho is now they don’t carry older gen consoles like PSP and DS things anymore which I get. But also sucks if you have older stuff pretty much pre 2013 you can’t sell it. But still best GameStop in Omaha and I would recommend coming here. Just don’t try looking for older games/consoles.

Experiencia positiva: Not the best for buying wii, ps3, xbox360, or older games sadly. However, they do keep up to date with newer games. The only downside is a lot of the newer games are more expensive. If you're willing to drop 30+ for ps4/ps5, xbox one, Nintendo switch games, etc. Then this is your place. It also depends if there's any sales going on, so♀️. It really just varies, but they have some pretty cool mario t-shirts on the rack at gateway

Experiencia negativa: Awful experience, went in on Thursday to get a refurbished ps4, they stated they didn’t have one and they could order us a new one. After multiple attempts to up sell us after we declined we got the game ordered, only to realize once we left that they did not purchase us the system we asked for but instead a system over $100 more. Didn’t even leave the parking lot before we noticed and went back in and they said they could not cancel purchase. Days later game is suppose to be delivered and wasn’t. We call fed ex who says GameStop didn’t put the right address we gave and that our game is on hold until GameStop fixed it. Not only were they unable to do their job correctly but management hung up on us as well saying she couldn’t help. Extremely awful customer service as well as work ethic. Worry more about what your customers are asking for and less about being money hungry. Will not ever return

I took a $30 Uber to the store and was told they never had any. The worker then gave me attitude when I told him what they said on the phone about having them in stock. Avoid this location. They will lie to get you to stop by.

The employees are great and actually know what they are doing (how to apply reward certificates, make price adjustments, etc).

Experiencia negativa: Went in for the Thanksgiving Day sale of Xbox series, PS5 and Nintendo switch bundle deals that were advertised for 5-9 pm. After being in line for over an hour, the store manager came out and told everyone in line that none of the 4 advertised locations had any of the Xbox series x bundles, but they were told they could "substitute" the series s bundles. Seems like a bait and switch tactic. Probably won't be renewing my GameStop plus membership in the near future. It was pretty sad as almost half of the line dispersed after the announcement

Experiencia negativa: GameStop has changed for the worse. They have all boxes for games out on the shelves whether they have them in stock or not. I took my son in to pick out games for Christmas and every single one was out of stock. No way of knowing that until you take the box to the counter. With the old system, what was on the shelf was in stock for the most part. So disappointed

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely. Disrespectful. I went in on a normal day looking for a controller and I found a great one. When I was checking out, the cashier showed me a controller split in half and he said that if I bought the warranty for $5, that damage would covered under warranty. I thought to myself, “that is such a steal! I’m so glad that companies to this still today!” To my surprise today I went in to get my controller replaced after it had taken some minor damaging, and the lady at the register told me “We can only replace controllers that have buttons sticking or their sticks drifting, we don’t cover physical wear and tear.” Well how lovely, I have been cheated out my own money by the store that is supposed to be “For the Gamers”. I really don’t feel as if they respect their customers anymore, and you can guarantee that I will never step into that store again.

But you are in a customer service job, practice personal hygiene!. I will go out of my way in the future to go to a different store. The smell is that bad.

Experiencia negativa: Went there today with my kids, they had saved up some money and wanted to get some games. We were there for about 5 mins when my youngest that is 5 needed to use the restroom. I asked the guy working there where the restrooms were and he told me they didn’t have one! I asked again in disbelief and he said no! Then I asked him what he used while he was working, then he told me he has a restroom for employees but not customers!!!! I had to immediately take my 5 kids to go look for a restroom, this store missed out! I will never go back there and spend my money at that store. Very poor customer service.

Experiencia negativa: I purchased a Nintendo Switch on Monday Nov. 26th at the local store instead of ordering online so that the brick & moder gets credit for the sale. I asked the gentleman that helped me how I was going to get my $50 gift card that was part of the promotion they were running. I also explained that I wanted to get it soon because I wanted to use it on another promotion that they were having. He informed me that it would come in an email when it shipped. Received the Nintendo Switch & no email or information on my $50 gift card. I sent them an email & all I’ve received back is the “standard reply” thank you for your email. We will be in touch with you soon. Mean while I’m still waiting for a reply & now I’ve lost out on the promotional price on another item. I now wished that I would have just bought both products at Target and get the 5% red card discount.

Experiencia positiva: Pretty good shop in Omaha. Overall selection seemed pretty good. We were looking for Pokemon items that seemed to be on clearance at other stores but they were not on sale here at all. Picked up soon Pokemon product and Five Night at Freddy plushes. The FNAF stock seemed better than most local stores. Employees were nice enough but also seemed more prioritized on stock items they received.

Experiencia positiva: This brick and mortar store is better than the smaller mall stores. Variety and selection are good and you have room to move around in the store. Staff are okay, but could be better with the knowledge of their products. Overall good selection, but some items are overpriced. As with most gamestops they had a poor selection of amiibos, but had a good selection of five nights at freddy's plushies. Will most likely frequent again if I need a specific gaming or collectable item if it would not be found on Amazon.
Experiencia fantástica: I have always had a great experience at this particular location whenever I've been there. Today we were looking for one item in particular and there was only one left in all of Omaha. I called and the employee I spoke with was very professional and gladly held it for us. We drove all the way from Bellevue to get it and spent a little more time looking around once there. All three employees were very kind and helpful. They made the drive more than worth it!
