Fantastic experience: Eric was very helpful and kind. We brought in our son’s switch because we couldn’t figure out what was wrong with it lol but he took his time helping us while also taking care of other customers. Will return just because of the customer service.

Positive experience: The staff are cool, and very helpful...WHEN IN STORE. If you are trying to call and have a question answered, without having to take a pointless trip up to the store, good luck. I spent a good 3 hours on/off calling this location, and no one ever answered. Not even to say hey, we are very busy at the moment. Can you give us a few and call back again. Just straight to a auto message. I understand that i may have been calling at busy hours, but to some thats not an excuse to not provide customer service, even over the phone. Now thats out of the way, i do like this location very easy to get to, the staff are very good at providing said customer service in store and have shown to go above and beyond to help find certain items they may not have in stock, at another location. I want to rate this place higher, but customer service all the way around is big to me. If they can tighten ship and be able to multi task a bit more (even during busy hours) then i think this spot has the potential to be a prime spot and business for gamestop. If things progress great in the future with this location and maybe even up there stock a little for people who cant do midnight releases ( i know, tough ask) then i would be more than happy to raise my rating up and further do business at this location. till then, it stays at a 3 for the service i have been provided.

Negative experience: The lady manager here was so rude. I asked about an item that I saw online and she completely disregarded me. She said not even to shop at GameStop online because there website has fake deals. On top of that she was dressed like a homeless person, not like an employee with dignity and respect.

Negative experience: Went looking for a game for my son. The clerk asked if we were looking for something specific. I asked him if they had Pokemon Legends ZA? He said he should and then proceeded to help someone else. Didn't even help me find it. Poor customer service

Negative experience: Really bummed out with the service gamestop is providing lately. Really seems like the employees don't want to do any trade ins because its 50 minutes until closing. I used to enjoy going to this gamestop because of the great service they offered but to be honest gamestop as a whole company has been going downhill. Sorry for the obe stat guys

Negative experience: Waited until 11:15am and they didn't open. Called the store and ended up at the voicemail saying the store associates are busy helping other customers. They missed a UPS delivery while I was waiting there as well.

Negative experience: Not sure if it's store employees not following protocol or a change in policy needs to be made but, allowing groups of people to bring every person in their family to a pokemon drop to get around the limit needs to stop. Literally had people getting dropped off 5 minutes before opening to join groups who had already been waiting, every person in the group left with product. Should be a limit on groups and enforced

Negative experience: I had called this location at 12:07 to see if they had a game available and then they said yes and I proceeded to say that I would be on my way. When I got there at 12:20 they had posted a sign that they had left at 12:15 literally not too long after I called the store and when I arrived I couldn’t even purchase the item I had called minutes before about

Negative experience: Sooo, I came to get my Nintendo switch 2, at 11pm. Didn't leave with one because I had to be here at a certain time to check in and I had to have a finalized receipt. I do not recall being told prior to tonight (when i came to make payments on my switch) what I had to do before picking up my Switch to be permitted to pick it up. I waited in line for an hour to leave with nothing. I was told I could come back tomorrow when the store opens to get my pre-order?? Why couldn't I have it right then? All we were told when we got to the store at 11 was that we needed a receipt, not a finalized receipt with a number on it. If I had been told that from the beginning when I arrived, I would have left and came back tomorrow. But that was not said to me, so I waited in line for an hour. I even checked to see if I made a mistake and missed if all this was said on the receipt, and it was not. They didn't go through the line to check k everyone had the proper receipt either. This was inconvenient and poorly organized.

Fantastic experience: This store is one of the best. The person who posted a few hours ago about the pre-order and the staff being rude and incompetent. I was in the store and over heard the transaction. The funny thing is, her "friend" is one of the employees at the Gamestop by the HEB on Pleasanton & SW Military. And they were bashing on this store in front of other people and customers. So now, I have my new favorite location. Thank you C.J.

Negative experience: This used to be my favorite gamestop, but they went downhill when they switched staff. They're unhelpful, unfriendly, and unsympathetic in every way. I pre-ordered a game, not only has it still not arrived days after release, but the staff is unhelpful and incompetent. I cannot recommend steering clear of this gamestop enough. I've even been to other gamestops and the employees there talk about the incompetence of the staff at this location, and have shared others frustrations.

Fantastic experience: THIS LOCATION!!!! Man the staff was great! They were ALL so helpful to me and my daughter and we shopped. My daughter is addicted to collecting Pokémon just for the cards and the guy at the register explained the game to her and what each Box of cards was for it was great!

Fantastic experience: Knowledgeable staff that likes what they're doing and offering plays a huge part of my 5 star review. Sure, you may not get all you want for your valued trade ins but there are often offers that Will make those trades worthwhile. I'm not knocking off points but I do wish Gamestop's warranty offer and the cost of the program was better. Even if you're not actively looking to buy something, it's a great store to visit

Fantastic experience: I'm not much of a gamer but I did check the website to purchase a new XBox S and it showed they had 7 available and sure enough they did and I was able to pick it up in time for my son's (Big Gamer 17) birthday. Great Deal. His face was priceless.

Negative experience: Love GameStop but just picked up my pre order switch and box was damaged didn’t see the damage until I got to my car . Was accused of damaging my box . Lesson learned check box before they put it in the bag . The guys that work there are nice but if you get a lady manager with short hair she’s the one with horrible customer service . Good luck May the odds be in your favor.

Fantastic experience: Gamestop this is the GameStop I was telling you about the reason Oak Ridge Place in super far how do I know there are some mulatto GameStop now cuz I was trying to find one Pacific game but that's the only game I have it in that store but anyways it's a lots of lots of places in there I have lots of games to sorry play man's I don't even play it all kinds of PlayStation games hello I like old school games like the Wii U Wii the 3DS and more not just wanting that I like to be there and check out what kind of new update coming up and there are some gyms there since I also play Pokemon go which reminds you at least I'm one of the red team's and blue team because I have two accounts yeah that's what I call a long story but I needs I'm here finding what y'all no matter what

Fantastic experience: Original review: Oct. 8, 2019. Reposted on Google Maps I pre ordered a video game from Gamestop and paid extra for their Edge shipping. Gamestop advertises that your game will be delivered within 2 to 4 business days of a pre ordered game's release. It took a week just for them to process my order and a week after the processing to deliver. I contacted customer support, I felt my email to them was polite and fair, yet they didn't even bother to get back to me and I was never offered a refund on the shipping. This was especially annoying to me because I was planning to review the video game on youtube and make some guides. By the time I got the game the hype on it was done and many others had beat me to it, so there Original review: Sept. 24, 2019 After Five phone calls to their customer service (each wait for about an hour and a half all five times), I was discussing my Dreamer edition of Link's Awakening and its respective amiibo. I had received an email saying my pre-order from March 2019 is on hold 4 days before release. I went to my local Gamestop and discussed it with the staff. They managed to handle the situation one million times better than their customer service sites. Anyway, the store manager(s) called their own private gamestop number for customer service and managed to reassure me it was a site bug, "its fine, and your order will go through" is what I was told. I get another email saying my order is still on hold. I go to the store again and the staff were nice enough to call again and reassure me. That same evening on the after the second visit I get an email confirming my order, great, then TWO HOURS LATER I get an email saying my order has successfully been cancelled. I go back to the store Monday after work and spend an hour with the staff again just to be told that my order and the phone calls I made as well as their store manager made NEVER EXISTED. WTF. I do not blame the store staff. They did their job superbly compared to their customer service. I will be going again today because the store manager had requested the phone call (all recorded for "training purposes") from their district manager to prove this is not in our own heads but actually happened. It is such ** that both the customers and the staff of the stores (in-person staff) get treated like garbage for the Company's shortcomings and can not even admit that they messed up. They do not even need to admit it, just fix it and move on. Luckily I did my research and noticed that this has happened numerous times this month allow with practically every pre-order they had for Links awakening, Borderlands 3, and Cyberpunk 2077. This is actually grounds for a lawsuit inder company fraud to its customers. seems like it's starting to follow the path of the ENRON scandal for those who know what company that is.
