Negative experience: I am just extremely shocked at how this location will close on Valentine's day fully. This news of the store closing for good has me very upset considering I had alot of pre-orders I had to cancel and then transfer...only to find out later not long ago...one of my items could not be reordered due to the system already telling the manager that assisted me at a different location about it. I was not notified at all about the store shutting down till today when I came to pick up one of my pre-orders and no calls were made since the location got informed last week about it. I have shopped at this location for over 20 years and the way of closing this store was terribly handled considering I am positive nobody who had pre-orders were informed either and some probably still don't know and will be shocked if they don't come by the store before Valentine's day ...I hope GameStop handles closing stores more carefully in the future cause this experience is by far one of the worsts I have gone through in my life. I had over 100 dollars worth of pre-orders that needed to be crossed over... I don't know if I can get one of my games even now so gamestop will lose a huge sale if that happens too. So many things could of been done to help prevent closing too...so it baffles me how nobody stepped up to try harder for a place that was around so long. What happened to those who are supposed to be on top of the ways to improve sales, communication, and event planning? I am saddened such a big corporation failed to save this store that I have known and shopped at since my childhood.
Negative experience: Poor place, nothing like how it used to be not even walking into a CLEAN place , just dirty honestly looks filthy the lady their wasnt helpful at all couldn't even get a simple power cord to try my stuff but I went to another location and they went out of their way to help me and make a sale, better of going to a different location.
Negative experience: Man every time I try to come to this store to buy something it's always closed with the associates away for some reason or another. I've tried coming here at least 3 times and each time no one is ever there. I'm beginning to wonder if this location is ever actually open what do I gotta do stand outside at the open of business.

Negative experience: Yeah right 4.5. I this is the perfect example of employees high jacking reviews for a store. This is the 3rd time I've come to sell Xbox one controllers my son has out grown for wat ever reason. But this time takes the case ...I'm standing inside the store door dusty off a dusty controller and this rent a cop came up to me telling me I can't loiter. I was already in a mood and being called a bum really pissed me the hell off. I took my son's red Power A Xbox one wireless controller in. To do trade in! Not only did the rent a cop insult me but in the same breathe says "oh I don't think we can take remotes in dusty conditions." Ok so the rent a cop doesnt think they can take dusty controllers!? Wow! So wen the girl who actually worked for game stop, Degrudgedly take it in her hand as though it had acid, says "oh yea! No we don't take that kind of controller, it has to be the new version of it." It's a not a Microsoft whatever. " I had of course checked on line before wasting my time and gas to come up here! Just to be insulted and dismissed! Mind u I've been coming to this same store for 10+ yrs and bought and sold thousands of dollars worth of gaming crap for my 2 sons,(my son's whom are both in med school now, and every now and then call needing money I don't have at the moment, and tell me to take their stuff in to get them as much as possible to help them at school) but won't spent not one more penny do to this bullshit. That rent a cop and that young girl are responsible for making me feel so low and less than I won't EVER show my money in there again. So pissed I stopped in the parking lot to write this . If I save one person that horrible experience then I've done my job for google and fellow parents who could spend our hard earned money in a more appreciative store and better trained employees. Negative experience: This place sucks, Short girl with glasses is extremely rude and didn't wanna change the damage case that was on the shelf. She's too comfortable at her job and doesn't wanna lift a finger. She gives this location a bad rep. Not the first time I had this bad experience.
Negative experience: I went here to purchase a Nintendo switch oled . It says they open at 12pm, I was there at 1205pm and the door was closed. Which is ok since their shift just started. However, after I stood there a lady with hair bangs and glasses was training a younger girl. When she finally opened the door I was not greeted, I looked around to give them time since they seemed to be talking about something. When I finally asked if they had the Nintendo switch the lady in glasses just said "we do have it" and proceeded to talk to the younger employee. If she is the manager , she lacks customer service, the fact she was training a younger employee you would think she would show more customer service in order to train her staff better. I left, I will be purchasing my switch elsewhere. Poor customer service, all it takes is one small hi , how can I help you etc.

Fantastic experience: I thought I got a good deal on a oculus here but it was just head strap replacements in a box haha! The cashier worker gave me and my brother a long receipt of where quest 2's are cause some don't have much 128gb ones

Fantastic experience: It's changed customer service is great. But I get it how everything online. I just miss the mid ight release the way it used to be so exciting. It's more of a merchandise store now. But a in all great and professional customer service..
Negative experience: This doesn’t even deserve a 2 start, but at least they had friendly attitudes. Went there to trade in a console, when they started on me they didn’t have any customers. But all of a sudden they get people, and when they have 3 staff and 1 manager on duty, there is no excuse to step away from a customer you’re already helping. Either the other worker or the manager should have stepped in and helped. This is very very poor customer service. Sorry but McCreless is just as busy and better customer service than this. This is not the first time I’ve had poor service at this location. They don’t care about giving you your value, only taking from you instead. I’ll never go to this location again, and trust me I won’t send any of my gaming friends and family here either. I’ll tell them 3 more miles and you’ll be better off.

Fantastic experience: Izzy has the best customer service in all the GameStop locations I have been to, in San Antonio. She greeted me as I entered the establishment. Offered to give me her input on miscellaneous products, as I was strolling through the store. Gave me the best advice on games, I could have asked for. Her politeness, professionalism, and communication skills, are unique qualities that should never be overlooked, but instead compensated.
Negative experience: Traveled a distance to buy a specific product and when I arrived at 1930 hrs the store was locked up with a hand written sign stating "we closed at 5, sorry for the inconvenience"
