Fantastic experience: Excellent place for buying retro games. I went here on multiple occasions to be satisfied with the games they had. However, a sale just took place for the Wii games, and they didn’t really have that much games :/ I was bummed but the selections on all other sections are good. Overall a great place for a retro gamer to shop at

Positive experience: Great service as always from the staff, especially Chloe who cashed me out! Give them that bonus! Completely separate… who’s the Grinch who increased the pricing on blu-rays. A lot of them you’re only saving a shipping cost by not getting them on eBay, sometimes not even that. It makes me a sad panda

Negative experience: I have been coming to this Disc Traders for most things like getting games and looking at what things that they do have but yesterday while I was trying to tell my games to them they lied to me about the conditions of my own games and they said I had bugs in them and when I came back to get my games the next day because it was very late when I gave and my games I seen a pile of other people's belongings or games right next to mine and I believe that they denied letting anybody sell the games to the Disc Traders and I feel really offended and hurt by their lying if they didn't want me to sell them my games they could have said we're not taking games right now but no they had to lie to me

Fantastic experience: I have gone to disc traders for years an they always have somthing for some one. Even when u are not even thinking u see like hey look at that. I took one hell of a break from going just life in general an playing my old back log an got that itch to get some besides old school gems, just what's new. They started brining in anime, pokemon cards to even comic books. New to me but maybe old to others. Trying to find my layout of the store but give ur selc alittle time u can see what's what. Could they organize sure but don't help when customers grab an are like nah I changed my mind. They could be a job just organizing. I went in the store today an a gentleman helped me out with my n64. To be honest an sorry I didn't get ur name but thank u. Maybe to u it wasn't a big deal but hell cleaning my n64 an just making it work u bought my customer service for more years to come. Don't worry I know I'll be finding somthing soon enough. Anything from old to new u can find somthing at disc traders. Thank u

Fantastic experience: Fast and friendly. I wasn’t sure what to do with old CD’s so I stopped by their store with a couple of hundred CD’s and Cassette tapes. They said they would review them and call me with an offer. Less than 4 hours later I had the cash. Perfect!

Negative experience: i’ve bought a xbox one guitar hero disc and what i thought was the accompanying guitar controller, turns out it was a 360 guitar and they sold it to me without letting me know. months later i tried to sell a ps3, which they declined, not a problem. it is a problem however they didn’t give me all the pieces i gave them, when returning it to me. didn’t want the ps3 but they did want the controllers charge cord i guess

I found a movie I wanted to buy and the store credit covered it. Signing up for rewards was fast and easy. I'll definitely be back to do more shopping.

Positive experience: I had a bad experience with a device that was not unlocked, and was told they couldn't refund me. After much back and forth, Dylan the manager made it right and refunded my money plus gave in store credit. Even with a bad experience, we will be back.

Negative experience: I love Disc Traders, since there are no more Blockbuster stores anymore…lol. I have replaced them with your awesome store and love searching for movies I want to see, movies that I have always loved, and finding them movies I loved as a teenager. And the prices are amazingly low and the specials are great! I love a good deal! And I’m glad all those movies and games aren’t filling up a land fill! I bought some DVDs and blue rays last week. When I opened the “The Fault in our Stars” DVD/Blu-ray it was emptyI’ve never had any problems here before. I’m so disappointed!

Negative experience: Bought a ps5 from here awhile back for Christmas and when my fiance went to play it the controller barely worked the down button on the d pad was broken and the joystick had stick drift what a rip off In top of that I don’t have the receipt anymore because I bought it back around thanksgiving and I lost it

Negative experience: When you try selling stuff to this location don’t believe the wait time they give you, first one in the door and they tell me a hour wait . Show back up after a hour to be told it’s going to be an additional hour. 2 hours to process some items to Me is pure laziness

Unfortunately, upon arriving home I realized they forgot to include the DVDs in one of my purchases. It is an hour away from where I live. I will do my damnedest to find the receipt, but I’m afraid I may just be screwed.

Fantastic experience: Sam G is a pro. He's helped me several times, as I use Disc Traders almost exclusively for my video game & movie needs (unless I NEED to pre-order a brand new game). He's always friendly and does a great job! Disc Traders in general is phenomenal in pretty much all aspects, and Sam adds to that.

Positive experience: I have been a customer of disc traders for many years (10+) and have never had a bad experience that I can recall. The staff is incredible and the do a really great job. The selection is wide a diverse, and priced reasonably (for the most part. More on that later). If you were to ask me to review Disc Traders a couple years ago it would have been EASILY 5 stars. But, there have been some changes made by new management that have really disappointed me. The first change was the return policy. It used to be you could return an item within 14 days for whatever reason. An incredibly generous and pro-customer policy. It has since been changed to 48 hours. The second change are the prices. Disc Traders used to have much more competitive prices. And to be fair, for the most part they still do, but I've noticed a trend toward to higher side of what a price range should be for certain games and consoles. $99 for an NES with two controllers, no games, no zapper gun is quite expensive. I don't think it's a stretch to say you could get that bundle online for $60-$70 nowadays. Gameboy Pockets were $35 a few months ago. Very fair and reasonable price. Now, $50. Which is very much on the higher side. You get the idea. The last change and by far the most disappointing was the rewards program. The old program used to be after 10 visits you were able to get a 20% off coupon of any pre-owned item. This discount was unmatched in terms of value. This rewards program was incredible and the SOLE reason this store was unmatched and I was loyal to this store. I would visit disc traders many times a week just to check in, and most of the time walk out with something I bought. I would always use the 20% off on big purchases like pre-owned consoles or expensive retro games. But, they've since changed it. It's now a point system where you get points for every dollar you spend and if you spend like $200 you get 10% off. What a downgrade to say the least. I have seen this store trend towards more anti-customer policies and its slowly feels like it's getting worse and more corporatised. You hate to see it because I used to rave about this store, but I can't find myself having the same enthusiasm because of these policy changes. I know this review won't change the policies back. The Disc Traders of yesteryear is gone, and it ain't coming back but I want to let the new owners know that people do recognize these changes and hate them. The store feels much more corporate and less like a local media store owned by people who care about their customers.

Fantastic experience: I took my son here to sell his Pokémon cards. Being his first time, he was so nervous! The staff here was so great with him! They were so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! My son was so happy to get some money for a few cards! We had a chance to look around the store, and they carry a lot more than I thought! Used camera equipment, gamer books, stuffies, vhs tapes, any game console and any accessory.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience here, I've switched over to digital so I took in my old movies in. The young woman was very polite, friendly, and it only took her 15 minutes with a person in front of me. I'll definitely be back
