Negative experience: I came into this GameStop last week and an employee named Harrison not only made my entire group uncomfortable, but also made our shopping experience very inconvenient. He made multiple rude remarks to my friends, and tried to force us to put all of our stuff on one transaction. Edit: Smoking that Harrison pack
Negative experience: I went in to do a return of my game and an employee named Harrison insisted me to buy the membership and I said no. He even mentioned I look around before saying no but I wasn’t interested. Then I just went to look not even purchase an item and he just started yelling at me to get out of the store because I wasn’t going to buy the membership. Incredibly rude and I’m surprised the man isn’t fired because I just saw a couple 1 star review of the same rude employee named Harrison. Never going to this GameStop ever again. Please get a better employee
Negative experience: Harrison genuinely needs to go. I haven't met a more rude employee in some time. He kept trying to tell our group where we should shop in his store without giving us a chance to just shop. My friend bought a red bull (which THEY SELL) and he basically called my friend and idiot for buying it, saying he should be getting those at gas stations. He also complained 3 separate times when we wanted to make separate purchases (there were 6 of us, 3 people were buying things and being college kids weren't just going to have 1 person but everything). It's like he was actively trying to not get sales. He also decided to try to assume who was and who wasn't in a relationship in our group (which was just awkward because who does that) and kept repeating things he was saying until he would get a response from everyone. Sometimes people don't want to get harassed when they shop. Overall just a bad experience all because one employee.
Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff who was willing to answer questions regarding games or other merchandise.
Negative experience: The last few times I have went to this store, an employee named Harrison has helped me. Every time, they give me an incredibly hard time for not being a pro member and will just repeatedly force trying to make me sign up. Even though I say no. He will continue to push and make me feel bed for not having a membership. I went in today and it was another moment of that. Except, near the end of the transaction I started chuckling because it started to become so awkward with how much he was pushing for me to buy the membership (he even looked up all of my past purchase history without my consent to make a case on why I should have it). He told me it's not funny and I am just basically shooting myself and him in the foot and that I should start shopping at other GameStop locations so I no longer screw his numbers up. I told him that wasn't a very nice thing to say to a customer and he said he doesn't just say that to anyone and dismissed me the rest of the transaction. I literally just wanted to come in and trade two games for a gift card. He is always incredibly rude to me and I would honestly avoid this place. It's not worth it.
Negative experience: Such a bad experience at this location. I came in with my little sister for her to buy a gift card and a game that we found out was out of stock and only online. I asked the employee who goes by Harrison if we could buy purchase it in person and have it shipped, he looked pissed off when we asked and asked why we can’t do it online ourselves. First of all none of your business, next he takes our info, tells us the total and leaves. We’re confused why he didn’t ring up the gift card if it’s sitting on the desk and we’re like okay maybe he’s doing it separately? Nope, he looks down at it and lets out a big sigh and says “you’re getting this too, you could’ve done it with that other transaction” so I was like then if you don’t want to do it we’ll do it at another location and left. This employee seemed like he did not want to do his job at all. I don’t know who trains these people but they need to learn better customer service. What did I expect anyways, this boy looks like he doesn’t shower why would I expect him to lift a finger.
Negative experience: Charges scalper prices on Pokémon cards. A booster bundle that should be priced at $25-$30 is being sold at $40 here. Instead of the manager trying to help customers he simply states "they sell either way". Horrible company I shopped at for years, but I will never go back. Thanks Joe and Josh!!!
Negative experience: Shows they open at 11am online but the employees changed sign window to noon. Corporate wonders why their business is failing. Maybe get better employees that actually give a damn. 1 star do not recommend this one especially after seeing the employee go in open the gate then come back out and sit in his car and smoke.
Fantastic experience: Talked to a good and honest guy about Pokemon product, they had some things but not what I was looking for but He let me know that NO GAMESTOP CAN MAKE YOU PURCHASE THEIR PRO MEMBERSHIP TO GET ANY POKÉMON OR OTHER PRODUCT! The south side location told me I did need one so I appreciate this guy telling me I didn’t and NO GAMESTOP should do that. 5 stars for being real and honest.

Negative experience: Came in looking for a new console. The person at the front was EXTREMELY RUDE, talking about they didn’t have it. Although they never left the front and looked. You guys absolutely suck, learn customer service!!!

Negative experience: Looks like they open whenever they feel like it. I’m seeing a lot of complaints on their hours. Stopped by on a Sunday morning after they were supposed to be open. Gate was closed.
Negative experience: 10-9-24 when to GameStop and the light were on the security door only halfway down and doors lock at 7:44 pm when there promise my pokemon son action figures and he looked it up and it said they close at 8 :00 so I would rush him over there and when the guy saw us he walked into the back. Negative experience: AVOID GAMESTOP AT ALL COST!!!! THEY WILL SCEW YOU OVER ANY CHANCE THEY GET, THEY WILL SELL YOU STUFF TELLING YOU IT WILL WORK WITH UR SYSTEM THEN WHEN YOU FIND OUT IT DOESN'T WORK LIKE INFORMED THEY WILL REFUSE TO REFUND YOU YOUR MONEY!!! STAY AWAY!!!!! THEY ARE A HORRIBLE COMPANY AND HAVE A HORRIBLE BUSINESS ETHIC!
Fantastic experience: Went to trade my Xbox One, and the gentleman running the register knew how to answer my many questions of which Switch was the better buy and helped me pick out a game for my boyfriend.

Negative experience: We came in earlier at 3:25pm to buy something. The worker running the store had it locked and was putting up a sign that he'd be back at 4:00. I get it, he was probably going on break. The problem is, we came back at 4:40 and the store is still locked and he must've come back to take the sign down. In this time, at least 3 people tried going in... what a waste of time. Very unhappy.
Negative experience: At 3:25, guy told me he’s going on a 30 minute lunch break. I left for over an hour and no one is still there. There are others trying to go in aswell and the guy isn’t here. It’s approaching to an hour and a half since he was gone.
Fantastic experience: Literally the ONLY GameStop I go to. Staff is allowed to hold a conversation without having to select the "please buy our credit card" NPC line.
Fantastic experience: The store was good, the clerk Brandon was very helpful and informative to a Dad that is not super tech savvy.
Negative experience: Fingerprinting customers?! Get out of here! The value of GameStop has always been about buying and selling used games. But to do so at this location, they want: - your phone number - your license - your fingerprints Please, please do not provide this information to retailers! Your personal data and biometric identity is more valuable than the $2 they offer for your used game. This is dystopian and I hope customers steer clear!

Positive experience: Online says they don’t close until 9pm. It’s 8:38 as I type this, and they’re closed….. not good business. Might want to edit that online if you close earlier than you advertise.
Positive experience: It's a GameStop. They do not have a super giant selection of peripherals but have most everything you might need. They have their own brand of peripheral now called Atrix. Got a pretty good deal on wireless surround headphones that feel like good quality.

Negative experience: My husband and I just spent an hour trying to order game system that is not available in store because employee told us while no store has them they can be ordered online. Online every system says unavailable. When I called back some girl answered and said they can’t get them to go through online either and haven’t been able to for couple days. Said you should let all the stores know this so all employees know so people don’t waste their time. She got rude and said whatever fine and hung up on me. I have been to gamestop a lot over the years with my husband to buy for our kids and us. We most likely won’t be back.

Negative experience: Garbage, garbage. I'd give zero stars. The establishment had 2 signs up stating "Due to Christmas we are unable to adjust any prices for items purchased before 12/25. Number one this is illegal and the manager should be dealt with immediately, number two, this kind of thing should not go on anywhere.
