Negative experience: Saw a game on the shelf for $34.99. Went to the counter to ring up and they tried charging me $70 saying it was the wrong sticker on there, that they couldn’t “honor the price”.
Positive experience: They had a good selection of Nintendo amiibo!

Negative experience: Guess they just let their employees close early. I had work today and came to get a game I knew exactly what I wanted. She stood there and looked at me. I came before 8.
Negative experience: Was charged more on a product than it was showed to be. I went in and looked at the Pokemon stuff and saw something I liked marked at $40, so whenever I went to go buy the product it was actually $80 and ended spending more than what it was priced at.

Fantastic experience: I called three stores before calling this one looking for a Nintendo da lite charger. Rachel went out of her way to check all stores in corpus to save me time and checked the availability on their website. When she found them out of stack at all game stops, she recommended a place for me to go. Thank you Rachel for the outstanding customer service I received today.

Negative experience: 5488 S Padre Island Dr Suite 2040, Corpus Christi, TX 78411 Your store at this address scammed my stepdaughter. Her father and I bought our grandson a game from this store. The game was not new at all as it was not in a sealed box and removed from a plastic bag and the case was pulled from another drawer. The game was given to our grandson. However he had some difficulty playing it. We gave her the receipt and she returned it so she could get another game for him. However you employee's did not return it and only gave her a $7.00 credit and the warranty was also bought for the game. Me and my husband spent over $39.00 with the warranty. I want this corrected and I will also be leaving a review on your website and Google about this scam.
Negative experience: I’m going to go by jade. Because I don’t want to miss gender anyone. Be rude and big mad. If you don’t buy her recommend items. Saying it’s just going to break after two weeks. I get it buying preowned headset n a warranty gives you credit. But don’t be upset when someone wants to buy what they want. Geeze. GameStop sucks

Negative experience: I spoke with Manager Elizabeth in regards to a preorder and she was not helpful and was rude! When asked to speak with someone higher up she just kept saying there was no one else above her and that there was no corporate number. She then hung up on me! I called back and spoke with associate Rosie and she as well was useless and said there is no corporate number and the only person i could speak to was Elizabeth, who had just hung up on me. Very frustrating! I called another store and quickly was given instructions as to how i could file a complaint!

Negative experience: They never answer there phone, and rarely call when pre-orders come in. Also I'm still missing my pre-order that they said they will update me on. Nothing.

Negative experience: Ordered an item online from a local shop because item was available for same day delivery by 7pm. Item didn't show and spent hours and many phone calls between the customer service line and the local shop until finally was able to just cancel the order outright. There are lots of options out there these days for gamers and it's probably in your best intersect to take your business elsewhere
Negative experience: I ordered a Nintendo Switch online. I paid extra for two day shipping which was supposed to get the product to me on a Saturday. The funds were put on hold in my account, but on Friday my package still wasn't shipped out I called and was given the runaround and never transfered to a manager. After being rerouted twice I finally got someone who gave me the truth. They did not have it in the warehouse. At that point I requested a refund which I was told they don't know when I would get because the warehouse invoiced my order for a product they don't have. To add insult to injury they don't even deliver on Saturday despite their website charging for 2 day delivery and giving a delivery date of Saturday. Don't do business with Gamestop you will only be passed off.
Negative experience: Where do I begin? First of all... the used game I was going to purchase, somehow was not in store. Oh but of course the brand new packaged full price $59.99 version was available. Honestly I have never had an easy transaction when dealing with Gamestop. But I bet I will continue to attempt to shop there again.
Negative experience: Really rude and uneducated employees especially a Mr. Sanchez big boy person that works in this location. Yes, boy because the way he talks and response to the customers is really childish.
Negative experience: I used to love GameStop, but after today I’m frankly extremely disgusted by the customer service that I received or lack there of. I went in trying to trade in some games and I happens to forget my wallet. The website and the online schedule both clearly stated that the closing time was 9:00 I came back with my wallet at 8:02 and the woman who was working there told me to go away and locked the gates. I politely pleaded my case trying to show her the schedule and she ignored me and played some sort of game on her phone. If this is how you run a business then me and my friend group will no longer be shopping. Thank you

Positive experience: Very few older games. Times are making GS more of a collectable and toy store vs a true gaming store as it was in it's hay day. Other than that gripe, the store was clean, the staff friendly, and selection of current games are good. I wish the centered more on classics as well as new consoles.
Negative experience: Stopped in this location with my daughter. The associate behind the counter was extremely rude and spoke to us like it was a hassle to do his job. So I left and took my business elsewhere. I will never shop in this location agai .
Fantastic experience: This store should be commended 100 million times! They went WAY above and beyond to get me my pre-ordered copy of a limited edition that got lost in the quarantine situation. A game i had kinda given up hope on getting a month ago after dealing with customer service online (who said they were sending it but also didn't have it in stock) and so on. But, La Palmera found me a copy and jumped through so much red tape to help me out, I wish I could give them 50 5-star surveys. Thank you, guys! Tiger and Mike. Y'all are awesome! So, now I'm gonna go play Persona FINALLY!!!
