Negative experience: Came before 8 WHEN THEY CLOSE. Guess the OWNER lets employees CLOSE early. Shame I drive here after work and knew exactly I wanted and she just stares at me from inside. Could have spoken to me or answered the phone.
Negative experience: This gamestop, back in the days use to be good. But the new one fell off. You can't call up there because you'll never ever get anybody on the phone

Positive experience: I was looking for a certain color for a PS5 controller. I bought one thinking it was the right color but it wasn't. They had it mislabeled. Not to mention it was a refurbished controller and it wasn't 100%. It had problems with other buttons initiating while using the controller. I took it back and just got a plain black one. I also bought some grips that are pretty good. Overall happy, I just wished I could've gotten the color I wanted.

Negative experience: Google says they open at 9, the signs in front of the store say they open at 10 on Friday and Saturday (I'm here on a friday) and the doors are still shut at 10:30. I call and someone answers. I ask why everything claims they are open but the doors are still locked. He tells me they open at 11.... I inform him that all the things claim they are suppose to be open and suggest that signs need to be updated so they are not wasting people time- he just says "uh huh" - no wonder these stores are getting pushed out of business.
Fantastic experience: I got my friend an x-box X series black x box , hehe obviously had no idea what I was getting but all I had to do was share a picture of what my friend wanted and they made it happen. Its a pre-used one, but my friend likes the X-box so much and glad I got 1 yr warranty too. Should do that mostly with a pre-used one

Negative experience: I was at the pre-order launch. I was just a bit shocked at the lack of professionalism that came from the staff involved. I had watched many people who came earlier in the day to receive their final receipt supposedly securing a spot in line. Then come the time to pick up their spots were not honored. Then I mean even if that’s not the end of the world they seemed to be very nonchalant regarding people being a bit upset and even went as far to make some snide comments. Just a bit odd to say the least.
Negative experience: switch 2 release was horribly handled, very disappointed in the facts i heard gamestop employees threatening to sell peoples preorders. Incredibly unprofessional.
Negative experience: We were told by GameStop employees to be there by 11:00 for the Nintendo switch 2 release. The numbers we were given were the numbers we would be in, in line. I should’ve been the 8th person to get the switch. We got there at 10:50 and were sent to the back of the line with no explanation. They told us it didn’t matter what number we had, back of the line. What was the point of getting out of work to get to GameStop at 3:00 to get our spot in line for tonight, if we were going to be sent to the back anyways? The lack of organization and honesty was apreach upsetting. But then when there was an upset customer who went to leave, the employee added (as soon as the customer was out of earshot) “free switch anyone!”. Regardless if it was a bad joke, it was inappropriate. The inside staff were confused as to why people with stickers (like us) somehow got sent to the back of the line and told us an apology. It was just an upsetting experience. We usually love this GameStop and are frequent customers so this was a shock because preorders are usually handled better than this.
Negative experience: I was incredibly excited about the switch 2. The employees told me to show up at 3 o clock in the afternoon to get my final receipt and report back at 11. I got number 8 on my receipt and they told me id be 8th in line. I showed up at 10:50 and told me to get to the back of the line. Im very dissappointed that they not only wasted my time telling me to show up at an incorrect time but then completely removed all professionalism but saying they were going to sell peoples switches who dont pick them up tonight. Very very sad that this is my gamestop.
Fantastic experience: Yesterday I went in to purchase resident evil the 2 employees Jesus and colt were very friendly and helpful they seemed really eager and excited that I wanted to get into the game they also described the game as challenging but genuinely fun to play

Negative experience: The lady who is answering the phone is lazy and providing typical post covid trash customer service. They just answer and place you on hold. I waited over 10 min before hanging up and calling again. She just continued to do the same thing.

I highly recommend this location! There’s a closer location to our home but we are willing to drive to this one just for the excellent customer service! Keep it up and thank you for all your help!
Fantastic experience: Went to the Greenwood location for a warranty controller, turned down due to cosmetic issues to the remote. Even though that has absolutely nothing to do with the functioning issue I was having, they denied my warranty. Moore Plaza location took care of the issue no problem

Negative experience: I’ve requested a call from the district manager or general manager and was told 72 hour turn around time. It’s been a week and a half and still no call. I guess with how the stores are in these areas and the no return calls from the dm and gm is a clear indication as to why these stores are the worst I’ve ever dealt with. Don’t waste your time with GameStop there just a big joke now.

Negative experience: Went to trade in our Xbox and we placed our Xbox on the counter to be inspected by the employee and the employee started to bang it on the counter and said stuff was coming out of it( there wasn’t) Never once plugged it in or actually tested the system just banged it up and made up an excuse to take the item not to mention potentially damaging my item. Such a strange experience.

Positive experience: Customer service here is great, but no way I'm paying the prices they are asking. For example a brand new set of switch controllers cost 89.00. A used set here costs 73.00. I was also surprised that Best Buy had several brand new games that were LOWER then the Gamestop prices.

I’m from Kingsville so I had to make a special trip to CC and they handled everything very professionally, they took their time to answer my questions, they were very thorough and I said to myself I have to let Game Stop know how truly blessed and lucky they are to have such a great group of girls taking care of their customers. Thank you girls again so much!! You all Rock!!!
Fantastic experience: Visited 3/9/22 the gentleman working was patient and helpful. Gamestop isn't always the best company, upper management is very douche and they have less than ideal business practices, however this is balanced out to me by the massive amount of kind and wonderful people they employee on the Frontline. Underpaid, underappreciated, with no benifits or PTO and yet always a smile and taking the time to help their customers.

Fantastic experience: Went there this weekend to pick up a copy of Pokemon Arceus I pre-ordered, the cashier was a real trooper and also very friendly. She seemed to be the only on working there while we were there too and she was on top of everything. I had meant to pre-order two copies of Arceus, one for me and one for a late Xmas present for a friend and it turns out I only pre-ordered one. The cashier helped me set up an order right then and there so I could get a copy to my friend! Something was wrong with the system and it took awhile but she was so determined to help me out! She was also really talkative and friendly! Best experience in Gamestop I think I've ever had despite the difficulties.

Fantastic experience: One of the bigger, if not the biggest game stop in corpus. They price matched their website for us. The cashier (of course I didn't catch her name. I'm horrible at that) was super friendly and nice even though it seemed she was the only one working (??) There were lots of people in the store and more coming in and out in the 30 minutes we shopped. I add the points to my mils account and she offered the coupon code she had available so my daughter got a free item and she also up sold the $1 pins at the Register and sold me at "free tote" lol. Good job girl.

You'd think they would have put a sign or something by the entrance so customers who ONLY wanted a certificate wouldn't have to waste their time. Very inconsiderate!
