Positive experience: We couldnt get store credit for the ps5 controller we had to return... had to get the same item
Negative experience: They sold us a pre-owned game yesterday, got home and it was FILTHY. Tried to return it today and they told us they don't do refunds. It says on the receipt we have 7 days. The workers were rude and got loud over it. Which is funny, coming from people who make $11/hr. If you don't know how to process a refund, just say that. Store is dirty and often stinks. Worst location in Fort Wayne. Called another store to ask about what the employee said and they said it wasn't true. Nice power trip, guys. You lost your company some business. Hope it makes you feel better.
Negative experience: Inventory that says in stock in store isn't correct.
Negative experience: This gamestop is terrible. Never sent my cards for a PSA submission. They waited months and never told me. I went back in there in January to figure out what the issue was and they pulled my cards out of a drawer. One of my cards was damaged also. I go in on Friday for the “Perfect Order” release and to get the gengar promo card. I was second in line, so i know they were not sold out. I have zero doubt the employees were holding these promo cards and not giving them out with purchases. Gamestop should have went out of business years ago.
Negative experience: Pre ordered my son's first and (also mine) etb thinking ut was msrp seeing how its a store, it wasn't. The Target had them and at real msrp.. Then to make up for the scalpers prices I was suppose to get a gengar, well this shop didnt even get any cards, not even their preorders.. plus literally everything JT, tins, packs, all marked up to 3rd party pricing. Crazy. Won't do again dont recommend.
Negative experience: Pointless store anymore. Two-ish shelves of games and all the rest cheap crap

Negative experience: Sold us a supposedly refurbished controller for PS5. It had stick drift worse than the controller we traded. Was replaced for free. But time is money, and you'll waste your time shopping here.

Negative experience: My wife ordered a PlayStation 4 on December 12. USPS shows that a tracking number was created, but the item has not been received yet. She was given the runaround by both GameStop and the Postal Service. We are trying to receive this item before Christmas. GameStop just told her that they will do an investigation but will probably not have the replacement item by Christmas. This is extremely disappointing, and we would not have ordered this year if we had known that it would not be here by then.

Negative experience: Went today. The lady working was wonderful. I’m leaving 1 star because her coworker made me so deeply worried for her safety that I felt compelled to tell staff at another store. The man working with her today was so aggressive with her. I hope either he is fired or she finds another job for her safety. Please address this management. This is incredibly scary to see happen and I don’t feel comfortable with my wife shopping here alone seeing how this employee behaved. I worry for all women shopping here.
Negative experience: So, the blonde lady that was working was fantastic. Super knowledgeable and friendly, greeted me upon entry, she was great. The dude that was working with her made remarks towards her that made ME so uncomfortable that I felt the need to ask if she was okay and safe. She said she was, but that guy was acting out and getting angry over a perceived problem with an unasked for gift. I won’t get into specifics but it made me very uncomfortable for her and other women that might go to this store. I did tell staff at a different Game Stop because I was that concerned.
Negative experience: Went over to get an etb and over heard them putting on hold items for employees out of box when I waited in line. Never coming back to this one again.

Negative experience: Waited in line before store opening last Saturday for the White Flare release. Because its 1 per sku, they ran out of everything right before my turn at the counter. Frustrating, but I get it. I asked if there was anything left in the back, or if that was it. I was told sorry, check out the other gamestops (which would have been sold out long before this one). My buddy then showed up to this location a couple hours later, and found they had multiple binder collections for sale on the counter again. How is this possible unless some were secretly held back from the public so they could purchase them after the rush? I waited patiently and was told there was nothing left. Ive tried calling the store 5x today to ask about the situation, and noone picks up. Incredibly frustrating.
Fantastic experience: Stopped in to browse and ask about upcoming product releases, the employee was very friendly and answered all my questions! I just waited my turn as he was assisting another person and was friendly to him. I'd come back here if I ever need anything, great service.

Negative experience: Submitted cards for grading through psa and they lost the cards. Don't use them for grading.
Fantastic experience: Stopped in to buy a game the day it released on 3/20/25. The guy at the register, Clint (according to my receipt) was very friendly and gave me an extra preorder bonus code even though I didn’t preorder the game. Saved me an extra 10% by finding my GameStop account too. Great customer service, will be back in the future

Negative experience: Went to this location yesterday looking for god of war on PlayStation. When I asked the employee behind the counter he simply said yes and when asked where it was he simply said in the PlayStation area and went back to doing what he was doing never asked if we needed help or anything. Don’t know if he was the manager or just a regular employee. I’m going to start avoiding this location and going to the other stores.
Negative experience: Was at this store on the evening of 12/16/24 and received very poor customer service from a blonde haired man working here. This employee was incredibly rude and dismissive when I asked for help. His attitude made me feel unwelcome, and I ultimately decided not to purchase anything because of how I was treated.
Positive experience: The attendent (clint) was very helpful, and informative. Always the best service from hin.
Negative experience: didn’t take my controllers because they have stick drift but when i went with my dad a week ago they took them. dumbest thing ever. also worker was rude about every thing.

Fantastic experience: My son bought a pre-owned XBox One with 1TB storage on Gamestops website. He Received a defected console, disc drive not functioning and pieces sound loose inside console. Able to take to our local Gamestop here in Fort Wayne, where we never had any issues prior, they had always been helpful, and this time was no different. Was able to trade our defected console with another pre-owned XBox, however when we got home realized the XBox they gave us was only 500GB. When I called the following day to inform them of the mistake, I was told there were no 1 TB XBox One on entire Gamestop website and they could upgrade me to a different console for $40 more.I was not willing to pay $40 more and was told by management nothing else could be done except put my name on list when a 1 TB became available. When asked about Gamestop crediting my account because we already paid $40 more to get a 1 TB over 500GB, the Manger said he could not do that and the XBox One 1TB and 500GB were essentially the same, even though they charged $40 more. Very disappointed in Gamestop, I told my son we will take our business elsewhere from now on. My 9 year old son feels cheated and ashamed a company would do this to a child just to earn a buck. I am a very disappointed father and it sickens me Gamestop is willing to cheat a 9 year old out of his hard earned money. UPDATE: Clint was able to resolve all issues with above problems. So I scored a 5 since Clint had great customer service. Thank you Clint

Positive experience: It's a good place to save money by swapping out used games when you get tired of them. It's hard to find controllers here, even used, and the Series X, OLED Switch, and PS5 are still perpetually sold out. They do still take broken controllers on trade though, which helps take the sting out of ordering new ones.

Fantastic experience: My son lost his wallet with his gift card from his recent trade credit for almost $200 and Clint helped us by getting the card frozen and explaining how we can come in with the receipt from the trade and photo ID to get the credit transferred to a new card! We thought we would be out the $200, but they were awesome!
