Negative experience: Came in to buy one thing, was bombarded with questions and suggestions for third party brands that I had no interest in. The kind of high pressure sales techniques that are killing brick and mortar retail.

Fantastic experience: Best GameStop by far, Chris is by far the best employee I have dealt with at this location. I submit cards here usually monthly, and he is the only one to offer me my pre order money back after no one else helped me out. Made my day! Thank you!

Negative experience: Went to get a game but guy had just closed the store. Store closes at 8pm and I was there at 7:30pm. Guy came to the door and was very rude. Lost out on a sell. I will do business elsewhere.

Negative experience: My partner and I arrived at 7:48 pm (store closes at 8) and as we walked into the store to purchase a game we already had in mind, we were rudely greeted by the employee saying that the store was closing in 6 minutes so we had to leave. We responded and said that we knew exactly what we wanted and where to locate it, we asked if there was time to purchase it. The staff member did not respond and turned his back to us. I asked him again if that was okay. He responded by only saying “sure” with a sigh. Not 15 seconds later, another group entered saying they had just come from the GameStop at Glenbrook and were told that the Lima location had the game they wanted. The employee looked at them said in a rude manner the store was closing in 5 minutes and they needed to leave (the time was 7:52 pm). The group said they had travelled to this store just to purchase the game. The employee refused them and they walked out. My partner found the game he wanted but did not feel comfortable purchasing the game due to how rude the staff member had been to us and the other party. We did not appreciate how rude the staff member had been. It was pathetic.

Negative experience: Bought a drone on clearance, the cashier did not inform me that not only was the item final sale and not returnable, but the drone didn’t even come with a remote! I asked the cashier who confidently told me that it came with a remote. Tried to return it 2 days later and they just said sorry we can’t do anything for you, guess I’m not gonna shop local stores anymore. Amazon it is.

Negative experience: After my husband was discussing what Gamestop benefits they are removing from the membership. The manager, in believing he was the smartest person alive, decided to become an arrogant jerk. Buddy, you're a store manager at Gamestop. You aren't a doctor, a software engineer, or something that takes intelligence. A teenager can do your job, get over yourself please. I've been a store manager an was never that way with my customers. Will not be visiting this location again.

Negative experience: I have been a Game Stop customer for 20+ years and today's experience at this store was the worst ever. I will not be going back to a Game Stop again. The man who was working identified himself as the store manager. He declined to process our transaction with funds we had available on our Game Stop rewards card. I tried to provide multiple types of identification, and he was not satisfied with what we had available. We have never in the past been asked for identification to use the rewards points that we earned so were not prepared for the request. I have been to this store many times prior to today and always treat the staff in a friendly manner, including today. He had no excuse for such awful customer service. I was actually in shock over the treatment I received and did not think to take note of his name. I do not plan to ever return to a Game Stop store and I do not recommend anyone visit this particular location. Most of the staff is fine, but the store manager has terrible customer service. Businesses who treat customers poorly, especially those who have been their customers, are where I want to spend my money. Additionally, I hope someone at the corporate office sees this review and removes the incompetent store manager at the Game Stop located at 6423 Lima Rd, Fort Wayne IN 46818.

Negative experience: Went to warranty a xbox controller, and cashier said I had to exchange for a used controller. Lied and said it was a new store policy. Went 10 minutes down the road to the one in the mall and had great customer service and got a brand new controller. Sorry I didn't warranty a $70 controller so I could exchange for $40 used junk.

Negative experience: An employee at this location called me to inform me that I could pick up my pre ordered game early. I drive 25 minutes to the store to be told she can’t release it to me until 9pm. I asked her how is that possible when they close at 9pm. Her response was we might be open a few minutes past 9pm. Makes no sense. I came back the next day to pick up the game and they told me they couldn’t release it to me due to the computers not recognizing sku numbers so nothing could be released through their inventory system. I understand computer issues because I work in retail. I asked if I could still get my game because it was paid in full and she said no unfortunately not because she can’t scan. So I asked if I could have a refund for it because I’m not driving up here again and she said yes. She then proceeded to pull me up in their system and refund me the amount of my game. If you can’t get any sku numbers to pull up then why are you able to pull up the exact amount you owe me for my refund? Nothing adds up.

Negative experience: Entire experience was dry and rude. From ordering online to it being cancelled and us having to go in store to purchase. Only not to be greeted by any of the three employees on the selling floor. The cashier was dry no bag was offered or given and no thank you. Not even sure anyone smiled. I definitely won’t be selling the device here if we choose to not like it.

Fantastic experience: I don't normally do reviews but the guy there Jared helped me warranty my sons nintendo and it was the absolute easiest warranty process I've ever been apart of! This dude was awesome and I will for sure be returning to buy whatever I need game wise. Idk about the trade in stuff but I digital download everything so Jared will be my go to for all my hardware purchases!

Negative experience: Ordered a game after the app showed they had it. Wait over an hour for my order to be filled after the email said it would be ready in an hour. Then stopped at the store on our way home to see if it was done. The guy that was working was very rude and said they sold the last game over and hour ago. So we asked when would our money be refunded and he very rudely said that it would be refunded when He got my order. He said he had not got my order yet. Mind you I got an email saying my order was being processed. Then he said it could take a day, a week or even a month to get my money refunded. I have never been treated to rudely at a game stop and I will never return to this store again..

Positive experience: Awesome staff at this particular Gamestop. I really enjoy stopping by this one. There’s a couple of the staff that just don’t seem happy to be there, but the other staff I’ve met have all been really great. To be expected out of most places I suppose. I would definitely recommend this Gamestop!! Doesn’t get as busy as the mall, so it’s always quieter, which I enjoy.

Negative experience: I went here looking for a cheap PS3 controller and I found it but I also found poor service and a smelly store. I found the cheap controllers I was looking for on clearance for $5 so no problem there. My complaint is with the store smelling like someone had farted or just took a horrible poop. I ignored that and tried to have a little banter with the staff and I was met with a very condescending individual who felt the need to talk down to me like I was an child. If I didn't need the controllers so bad I would have left right then and there. So if you go watch out for the thin Asian looking dude with a gross beard.

Fantastic experience: Great small store, the people was very nice and patient when I was trading my games in for a Nintendo switch. The store is small but it does have a lot to look around at. There's all kinds of games, collectibles, and shirts they have their then other GameStop around the area.
