Negative experience: Every funko pop I’ve ordered comes damaged. They charge over MSRP for cards. I’ve gone in to this location many times and have not once seen a Chase Funko Pop and I know they hide and keep things set aside in the back. The most disappointing experience I had here (of several) is that their promotion states that there’s a discount for members and brought it up - literally on their own app. Got the run around and never an apology or price adjustment. Several of the employees here need an adjustment. Will be cancelling pro membership as well - it’s not under my name though

Negative experience: Overcharged on an item $35 when it's typically $20. Then applied a discount code of 5% off and $5 off that didn't do anything to the final subtotal. Be mindful of the prices of items that you buy here or at least attempt to price match them given how much the upcharge is.

Negative experience: I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience at this GameStop location. Items were clearly marked with incorrect prices, and when I brought it to the employees’ attention, they were unhappy, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. Instead of honoring the posted pricing or even attempting to resolve the issue, the staff acted as if the mistake was my problem. This behavior reflects false and deceptive business practices, and it is absolutely not how customers should be treated. Mislabeling prices and refusing to take responsibility is misleading at best and dishonest at worst. Because of this experience, I will be reporting this location to the appropriate California state consumer protection agencies so this kind of behavior can be investigated and prevented from happening to others. I will not be returning, and I strongly recommend others shop elsewhere.

Negative experience: If I were able to give less than 5 stars I would. I was the first person in line, waiting 11 and a half hours to get ONE ETB. The store had no notification that they had switched from a PREVIOUS system of a line to a new lottery system. The organization was CHAOTIC. THE ENTIRETY OF THE STORE STAFF WAS YELLING AND BEING UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE. Tell me how it’s fair that someone who waited their turn FOR ALMOST HALF A DAY. Is sent to be placed at NUMBER 131 in LINE. I’ve cancelled my GameStop pro membership and frankly this has killed something I truly loved. This has been a hobby in which I thoroughly enjoyed. THIS STORE Needs to consider their customers and their professionalism that is owed to them. I’d love to have a more thorough conversation as to what I mean by unprofessionalism as well. If th district manager would like to have a conversation about the safety issues that were occurring this morning then please feel free to reply to this message. Again, I am HIGHLY dissatisfied and disappointed with the level of service I received as well as ALL store associate’s attitudes and lack of awareness.

Positive experience: Haven't been to this location since last year. Overall like the direction they've taken it. More of a TCG store. Will it be perfect no never but I liked my purchase today and had a friendly employee at the counter. Can't remember her name but she was very helpful. I definitely overpaid for this Hydrapple but it's just nice to buy in person.

Negative experience: Waited in line with my son for a Pokemon drop for 2 hours so we can be early and ensure he gets an ETB, we were 12th in line, they have us pick a ticket from a box and now we are number 63, when complaining about waiting so long just to be pushed back so far, the employees answer was, "Well no one told you to wait 2 hours!" Never doing business at Gamestop again. This was such a ridiculous experience.

Negative experience: Placed a Pre-Order months ago for Tony Hawk’s pro skater 3+4 collector’s edition only to call them on release day and I am told “we only have one copy we’ll call you when yours is in.” Like what am I supposed to do with that??? What is the point of pre ordering if you don’t even have it?

Fantastic experience: The workers cold blooded, honestly just feel bad for them. Owners can't hire security, last week was buying quest 3, and my 21st Nintendo switch Oled (the other 20;was stolen from me) best thing ever thanks GameStop, but on my eyes the dude grab probably 5 big 50$ each boxes with Pokemon cards and bounce , I ask worker you not gonna do anything? He said he can't by they rules, but from the other way its gonna be very sad when place like game stop will need armed security. Place just super workers will always be respectful and helpful will come back for more stuff good job guys.

Negative experience: A while ago I took my Xbox and controller to be sold but their machine said the controller had stick drift and the workers gave me a really hard time . Took the same stuff to another GameStop out of town and they bought it full price , magically no stickdrift was detected . Ha ha

Negative experience: Came here to purchase a game, they didn’t have in stock and was about to check target and the worker had told me that target for sure doesn’t have it and it’s sold out everywhere and sent me to another game stop where I paid $60, ended up at target the next day and they had copies and for half the price. This was around January 2025. Went again and was going to buy to games, new copies, they didn’t have new copies and only used but attempted to charge me for the new price instead of the used price and just cancelled the transaction and walked out. I would not support this business again

Negative experience: Employees make or break GameStops. Unfortunately Efrain did not know what he was doing for processing returns. Originally said I needed certain games to do the return. I drove all the way back home to grab said games and back to GameStop just for him to tell me he needs all the games instead. Clearly he doesn't know his own policy. Had to call corporate to process the return and it was actually less of a hassle then actually dealing with brick and mortar. Unreal. Go to any other GameStop in town.

Positive experience: Staff are usually friendly and nice to interact with. Management never has enough people on staff though. Lines are long and forget about getting a phone call answered. Sometimes they don't have backups so they'll just shut the store down at random times so the poor single worker can take lunch. Never ever see management at this location. They're usually hiding in the back while some poor kid is getting slammed in the front. I personally hate GS corporate since they run these stores on shoestring budgets so they can give themselves nice bonuses every year. It's a better than average spot for action figure collecting so that's the only reason to go in for me. I haven't purchased a physical copy of a game over a decade though. Pre-orders seems antiquated in this day of modern gaming. A lot of their business strategy is centered around selling nothing basically. Pre-orders, Pro Plans, etc. How much money can they take from you while you end up leaving with nothing physically in your hands. Now they're buying graded Pokemon cards?! It's like trying to save the Titanic by bailing out water with a bucket!

Negative experience: Ah GameStop, if only I had diamond handed your stocks for a little longer. Wall street bets aside, this particular location is a hot mess. From what I understand, the employees are a mutinous bunch, and from their perspective of working a dead end job for 15 an hour while dealing with punks who ask if they have Battle Toads in stock, I'd likely be dead inside too. That being said, I find myself to be a fairly pleasant customer, and one particularly overworked neck beard at the counter couldn't bother to help out with my game trade in. He mumbled something about "pro week" and "the deals, my boy, the deals", then went back to his regularly scheduled programming of wiping down the anime figures sopping with drool from onlookers to pretending to stock game cartridges even though, well, everyone buys them digitally nowadays. In fact, I'm not entirely sure how this company even makes money. It certainly isn't thriving in the sales of anime body pillows, but then again, perhaps I'm the wrong demographic for that sort of thing. I just want to get some trade in credit for my old Zelda game; is that too much to ask, overworked GameStop employee?! I say nay!

Negative experience: Today at around 8:30pm a male employee was very rude talking on his personal phone on speaker talking to his girlfriend. He made me wait while he listened to his girlfriend, admitted it was his girl friend, first pointed at the camera and told me the camera couldn't see him doing it, then said his manager "Terri" allows the employees to make personal call." I explained how rude and unprofessional he was and told him I would be back tomorrow to talk to the manager. He said he did not see a problem since he ended up helping me anyways. I hope the managers can look at the camera to see him doing this.

Negative experience: It's very frustrating when the staff and not just one but almost all of them tell you a certain item is going to be in on a certain day and then it doesn't come in.. When it comes to toys and games, most of the time they're for a gift on a certain date... Definitely something the team needs to work on as far as communication.

Positive experience: Service could've been better. Felt as tho we were being rushed in and out even though there were literally no other customers there at the time. Seemed as if though every person there was hesitant to provide services when asked about specific games/console accessories. We were told a specific ps4 controller we wanted was out of stock, so the lady at the counter was nice enough to look it up and said they were out of stock as well, I came home looked up the same controller on their website and found it was in stock as a pre-owned item, so why were we never told about this option??? Even with a pandemic going on customers should still be made to feel welcomed and valued when shopping at any store.

Positive experience: Ok with the new shopping rules since covid 19 you do have to wait in line, also you can't just go browse for a new game. When i was there a worker was outside asking people why exactly they were there and when someone said they wanted to buy a game she was like well what kind of game specifically and she was listing catergories the guy finally told her he wasn't sure and wanted to browse. She did not look happy about it. But she wasn't rude.

Negative experience: Came an hour before close, no people in line. They said have to do online orders and come back tomorrow. Drove across town to get here. I just think the people in there honestly didn’t want to help me. I called a few times before my trip and they didn’t answer the phone. What a waste of time. Stuff like this is why you’re probably going out of business soon.
