Fantastic experience: The staff I met at this GameStop at the Foothill was extremely nice and helpful. I'm currently buying Xbox 360 physical games for my retro collection and the employees helped me with any questions or concerns I had. I want to give a personal shoutout to Kaden, Tyler, and Cody (the boss/manager) for helping me out and answering any questions I had about buying Xbox 360 physical games when I was at their store. I would highly recommend going to this GameStop location versus the other locations in Tucson and I will be coming back in the future if I need to buy more games in person. The attached pictures are the Xbox 360 games I bought at this GameStop.

Negative experience: Honestly a little sad. I have been going to this location since I can remember, when foothills mall was still open. Today I walked in to grab an Xbox One S pre owned and I opened the box and was not too happy. I got a white one that clearly hadn’t even been wiped down, and was owned by a smoker so I had to wipe off nicotine. The console controller didn’t match the Xbox which is fine because it was pre owned, but I was given a micro USB cable that doesn’t charge it and is 2 feet long. I then finally got to turning it on… nothing at all has been removed. I had to factory reset it, thankfully the prior owner didn’t have it pin locked. This was a really upsetting experience for one reason: I’m an agoraphobic person. My mom went to the store for me to get it. She asked multiple times if everything was in the box, and was told yes. I was on the phone with her. I’m sorry guys, but it seems quality has gone a little down hill at this location. I would’ve appreciated a thorough look in the box and a a wipe down on the console. I appreciate the price, but I could have gotten a brick if it had been a pin to sign in.
Negative experience: Horrible service, cards over priced for a distributor store. Sent in a card to be graded and it came back a 10, magically my account was deleted and they are holding my card hostage. Do not use this store for anything!

Negative experience: So the new guy replacing the redhead, his name starts with a J. However I go in to look through some cards and as I’m doing so he begins throwing some weird tantrum with empty boxes, huffing as he passed me. Then as he starts talking to customers and I notice they are giggling at me. I go to check out, he loudly proclaims that I stormed out of the store once when he was on a call and he was glad to see my patience has developed… It was a very weird experience; but with him having people giggling and staring I just reminded him he has the wrong guy and yet he doubled downs so I paid and left. It made me cancel my membership as that’s what I’ll do from now now on. The guy definitely seemed the type to use my address for weird purposes. Definitely miss Mike and the redhead but not enough to stay at a store with an employee I don’t feel safe with.
Negative experience: You run a renewal scam and make it impossible for people to opt out and get their money back. I called more than half a dozen times yesterday and visited two stores and both said they did not have the power to discontinue the yearly and both directed me to customer service phone which said each time to reserve your place in line without an option to wait; absolutely ridiculous that it should be this hard, the second store said he wasn't surprised because you auto enroll and no one told us it would renew and there was no notice of renewal coming up for us to address before you charged, beyond shifty and scandalous but rest assured if you will make this right and your disrespect will not be tolerated, this is not how you treat customers who spend hundreds and then lose them over less than 30 dollars, your company and process are pathetic

Negative experience: Useless. Couldn't help with anything. Gamestop just seems to be a crap company. One of the workers was friendly, but the other guy (who maybe was a lead) was a jerk. Waste of time, don't shop here.
Negative experience: Called the store at 7:02pm on 11/18 and asked if they had a game in stock. He said they have it available so I let him know Ill be over in 20 minutes. When I get to the store at 7:23pm there was a sign on the door saying the employee stepped out and would be back at 7:29pm. This was NOT good customer service. The employee knew I was coming and would be at the store around 7:20pm yet he chose then to take a “break.” We drove extra just to stop at this store, this made the store loose a $70+ sale and probably a customer.
Fantastic experience: Amazing location always! Never disappointed these are the people you wanna get connected with about anything within GameStop. Cody, James , Nick and the rest of the crew absolutely beast mode man. Just wanna give you guys a huge thank you and for business as well. Ill keep seeing everyone as the future goes
Fantastic experience: I always have a great experiance at this Gamestop, Cody in particular one of the managers there, has helped me soo many times with games or getting my app on the phone to work, looking for deals and special items and preorders. I heavily recommend that Gamestop gives him a raise.

Negative experience: The CEO changed the corporate stance on the warranties. Even though they had claimed to bring it in and get a new replacement the same day or they would order. Now they force you into refurbish. So I brought in my 180.00 elite controller that the adhesive was failing on the grips, which is actually a common problem. Not only did I not get anything th day I came in, I was told nothing refurbished in the area, so I would have to keep calling in and wait, or I could do the online way, which would be quicker. Now I have no controller, and the current status of my controller is waiting for product availaability. The warranty was this places only selling point. You can get everything they have including way more options at affordable prices on all electronics at someplace like Best Buy. Honestly even target has a better warranty now. I bought my controller back when they said bring it in before the warranty is up just even if there is nothing wrong, to oh you have something legitimately wrong with your device? Let me get you used and refurbished from some chain smokers house?, so I literally poured 70 dollars into your awful CEOs pocket. GameStop is so pathetic and obsolete, that digital is crushing GameStop. They are financially struggling. You know when their cowardly CEO changes these policies so he has more money, and then literally says the government should make laws that consoles be REQUIRED by console manufacturers to have a disc drive. Lol, all I hear is, GameStop is going out of business, I want my CEO wages, and the government should force the consumer to purchase the products we sell. No government will ever mandate something so crazy and anti consumer. GameStop sealed its fate with this warranty update. I would strongly suggest purchasing your product from somewhere where the warranty means something.
Negative experience: Simply the worst customer service I've ever seen. Blank looks, rude comments to simple questions, and laziness. I asked about headsets and the guy refused to help me out with the ones up top. "ugh, I'd have to get a ladder, just look at the ones down there" These kids are going to stay here forever. Negative experience: My daughter wanted a used game from GameStop so we go she finds the used game and of course a new one as well. The manager at La Cholla and Ina is unprofessional and rude not sure why he's the manager. He didn't feel like putting the plastic cover on the new game even though the other employee gave it to him I got no receipt and he tells me as he hands me the games you can't return new games anyways what are you talking about? I guess not without a receipt.This is why people shop online so we don't have to deal with rude people with no social skills. He definitely needs a course in customer service!

Negative experience: Horrendous customer service... Please buy your games elsewhere. I had pre-ordered the last of us part 2 on Wednesday. Unfortunately I had a full weekend already planned so I was unable to grab it on Friday when it released. I came Sunday at 5:57, three minutes before closing. The open sign was still up and glowing. I tried the door and it was locked. I called the store and no one was inside. I called again and no one came. It was then 6:01 when the store was officially closed that an employee came in, rushed to the phone and seemed irritated. He waved me away as if I was a bother. After hanging up the phone he unlocked the door and announced that they were closed. I told him I only wished to pick up my game and that I was there before closing. He obstinately told me that the store registers weren't up and running, something that was not my problem. I showed him my receipt and pleaded with him to make an exception. He said he couldn't do it and made a half-hearted mumble of sorry. Once I realized he wouldn't help I left. I wasn't going to waste my breath on deaf ears. To recap 1. I was there before they closed. 2. The doors were locked before closing time. 3. The computers weren't up and running to let me "pay for" a game I already owned. 4. I had my receipt in hand hoping for a simple exchange. 5. the employee treated me as a nuisance instead of a customer. Please do not give them your business, it is not worth it. Negative experience: What kind of store fails to update their inventory online so that I buy an item from them and then they refund my money with no explanation as Im driving 17 miles out of my way during a riot filled pandemic for curbside pick-up because they won't let me get it delivered to my apartment? Apparently Gamestop. Nothing but an email with a phone number to call some call center in a foreign country to get no answer. When I got to the store I ask why my order was cancelled and I get told "well we don't always update our online inventory, so this happens from time to time." No apology. No believable explanation as any good business would know that is a definition of a scam. I'm through with gamestop until maybe the going out of business sale, but they will probably screw me there too. At least I got my money back, but what terrible service.
