Negative experience: Sold me a bad PlayStation got it for my child for Christmas refused to exchange it or anything hasn’t been used at all went plugged it up came on and cut right back off absolutely ridiculous never will buy from them again

Negative experience: Bought a ps4 for my 6 year old for Christmas. Got it hooked up today it turns off won't stay on longer then 5 minutes. Still has someone's account linked to it amd there's nothing they can do about it. I find that to be bull.

Negative experience: Please do your own research before coming to this location or just use the Staples Mill Location. Staff doesn't really have a grasp of what is going on with pre-orders after I was told on 4/11/25 to give my number and they would call about Switch 2 offerings, and I was just told by the same staff member that he basically doesn't know what happened. Only gave two stars for this one young lady named Phoenix who I'm not even sure is still working at this particular location. I will be moving all my Gamestop business to the Staples Mill location from now on. Like I said before please do your own research.

Negative experience: We were shopping for games for our daughters switch that she is getting for Christmas, when the worker, female blonde and green hair, starting telling a customer that children are stupid and can’t figure out how to play the game the other customer was looking at for their child. We also heard her trash taco plaining about a customer on the phone. Overall her attitude was incredibly off putting and made us feel uneasy and unwelcome. Children have to learn how to play they are not stupid they just havnt been taught. This employee needs to be retrained on customer service and how to work with a customer in finding a solution instead of calling customers children stupid.

Negative experience: Horrible customer service. Don't bother getting a warranty from this place. They won't honor it.

Negative experience: Worst customer service I’ve experienced, the cashier was rude as hell. While I’m trying to explain the problem they just made me feel like an idiot and repeatedly said they can’t help me . They told us getting a replacement through warranty would basically be a waste of times and to sum it all up, they told me to just buy a new phone cause they can’t help me and the back bone just can’t be the problem. I’ll be sure never to set foot in that GameStop and will be telling everyone I know that yall customer service is terrible and I’d recommend they go somewhere else

Negative experience: Don't come here, go to Staples Mill Road location instead. I went in to this location with my brother to trade in a Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One controller and when we walked in, no "Hello" or anything. When we walked up, I told them I wanted to trade in the controller and they claimed they couldn't because I didn't have the original back to it. They also claimed that I scratched into it because it said "No Future". I walked out annoyed and Staples Mill Gamestop was shocked and said it shouldn't have happened. I was able to trade it in there, no questions asked.

Fantastic experience: Phoenix is great!! She recognized my wife and I and helped us with everything we needed! She’s a great worker and handled everything we needed with efficiency and care!!!

Negative experience: I bought a used game. The cashier asked me if I wanted to sign up for rewards and save 5% . She failed to tell me it was $25. I had no idea. That was more than the game. That was the second time I've ever bought a game from a GameStop. I looked at my receipt when I got out to the car and went back to try and get my money back. I paid with cash. She said she couldn't. I emailed GameStop (care) and someone responded within a few hours. They asked for the last 4 digits of my card and my bank institution. After I told them I paid with cash...I haven't heard anything back... At all That is ridiculous service from that cashier and whoever I spoke with in customer service!!!

Negative experience: Shady service, had 2 controllers that had little drift which they’ve taken before for store credit since they sell refurbished equipment wouldn’t take them. Never coming to this store again definitely going to Best Buy where you get better service.
