Negative experience: Poor selection, staff has an attitude problem, customers lacked hygiene leading to a nauseating experience. Staff kicked me out when they asked what my problem was and I responded that the gentleman 6 feet behind me smelled badly.

Negative experience: Was in last night for a few things and had horrible customer service. I walked in and looked around for a few minutes til I found what I wanted then waited for at least half an hour before anyone even said anything to me and it wasn’t even an employee and that was only after watching 8 customers that walked in after me get taken care of first. I work in retail and that is not how you take care of customers. A customer noticed I was in there for a while and said something and still was ignored til I walked to the counter. During that time an employee that I heard called out sick stopped in and brought the one working food and they helped customers and ate their food while ignoring me. This is one of the reasons I never go to GameStop besides that “retro” games are extremely overpriced. Recommend not going to this store.

Negative experience: Service isn't the best. Not to mention I paid for a warranty to only be told later that I had to get a refurbished product which wasn't what I was advised at the time of my purchase. They didn't care and just said oh well. It's been like that for years and I really recommend going to another place. Sometime I'm just in that area and I regret it every time

Fantastic experience: Honestly, great shop. Overlooked because of its location (can't see it from the parking lot, unless you're parked right across from it) and how close the other one is. Staff is awesome and incredibly helpful. Haven't gotten a good pull from any of my packs, but that seems like an end user issue, rather than theirs.

Negative experience: This store flat out lied to me about what GameStop pro included. Made it seem so great and I actually didn’t get a single reward they promised me I’d get. Spent 10 days calling their store as well as the GameStop hotline with zero answers. Eventually went into a different store to have the problem solved. Your employees should really have a concept of a membership they are selling

Positive experience: Needed a replacement dock for my Nintendo Switch Oled and the guy (Nic) I believe was very sweet and knowledgeable. He helped me get my dock for more than half off after my trade ins. Normally I shop the University plaza Gamestop because they know me so well but I'd definitely be checking this one out again! I simply LOVE Gamestops workers. They're very patient especially when it comes to my concerns.

Negative experience: Not being able to use a GameStop gift card to purchase PlayStation cards or any other digital items in the store is absolutely ridiculous what is the point of having the gift card if you can't use it for what you want that you sell in your own store I mean a gift card is meant to buy things in your store that you sell if you sell it I should be able to get it with a gift card I think that's absolutely wrong that I have to pick and choose what I can and cannot buy with a gift card for your own store I will never purchase one myself for anyone and I will make sure that I tell people in the future never to get me one it was an absolute waste of their money and my own

Negative experience: I don’t know who runs this place but it’s terrible & unprofessional. They don’t answer the phone at all and most the time you can tell they are hanging it up it won’t ring for even 30 seconds. We came here last week 40 mins before the closing time but they were still closed early. Then they were supposed to be open today at 11 it is now 20 after and they are all sitting inside with door locked ignoring my friend who even tried to knock on the door because it’s getting ridiculous. Get it together must be ran by irresponsible teenagers or something!!

Negative experience: I purchased a Nintendo Switch Lite online with store pickup at this location. It was about a half hour before the store closed I parked out front I sent my daughter in with my cell phone it also has a wallet attached, so it had all my ID. She said the employee gave her the box but gave her a hard time also. Mind you I ordered Thor's Hammer online a year before at this location. Only had to show my email to pick it up. This time I figure that's all I had to show and they want to ID my daughter for my purchase. The lady ended up giving her the box, anyway!! My daughter gets in the car she tells me the story. The employee comes out the door to make eye contact with me like my daughter was making it up that this purchase wasn't for me. I feel like this was some really racial unnecessaryness!!

Fantastic experience: A tiny hallway of a GameStop. Don't let that fool you, it is always well stocked with games, collectables, and hardware. Has a warm friendly staff and despite more foot traffic from other nearby GameStops closing, there has been no decrease in quality. This is my preferred GameStop since the one in the Union Consumer Square plaza closed, even if the one in the mall is technically closer to the previous location. I always feel you get a more personal experience from a plaza GameStop vs one in a mall.

Negative experience: I work in retail, so I typically wont leave reviews like this if the service is at least passable. The service was not passable. I went to trade a gaming system and a few games in, and Ashley acted annoyed that I was there. I tried to engage in conversation with her, and would get one word answer or a grunt whenever I tried to talk to her. I asked if she would be able to give me cash back for the gaming console, and store credit for the games I was bringing back, and she told me that it was one or the other, but wouldn't tell me why. Like if I had known, I would have just given her the console, and taken my games to a different location. Overall, the way Ashley treated me in the store, you would have thought I had kicked her dog or slapped her mother. I wont shop at this gamestop again.

Positive experience: Sometimes corporate gets silly and the nationwide system gets wonky so the customer service and managers on a local level step in and help. Negative experience: This place is trash!!!! I did a two day camp outside of GameStop just to have them tip friends off as to what door to go to.. and let everyone in the mall that got there last and didn't let those that actually waited inside the mall until we asked the cops what was going on... And then they let 100 people inside to crowed around us as well!!!! I had to spend $900 a piece to get the two xbox units I have now!!!
