Negative experience: Drive all the way over just for them to be closed before closing at 8

Positive experience: Update since last visit long ago with my visit today.... It was awesomeness very long wait due to only one person working. Also, what i was looking for, was not available or it was crazy high priced. which i was confused cuz the prices online for the store were way cheaper than in actual store. But I understand that it's Christmas time and everyone is buying all the stuff for kids and stuff, but maybe they should stock up on these items knowing that this happens every year. But going in there today reminded me as to why I don't ever really go there to begin with. But still a cool spot.

Negative experience: Store has a ton of empty shelves, got a gift card code at bottom of the receipt employee stated "should have printed this from the other register (they couldn't read the gift card number she told us what the code was) the 2 missing letters are !!." Drove home, receipt didn't work, called the store no one was any help and told I had to return to the store for further assistance. I returned to the store was told no one was there who could help me and to wait for the manager. Manager said, nothing he could do call Steam. Steam stated they can't help me, the gift card number was printed at the bottom of the receipt. I called the store back the manager said there is nothing he can do and put me on hold. While on hold Game Stop HQ called since I left a message earlier ... HQ Ronni said she can't help and to call Steam. I explained AGAIN Steam doesn't handle printed gift cards its on their site. Ronni stated she couldn't help me and there was nothing they could do and to call Steam (again). I called the store (again) got the manager and explained Steam and HQ were no help and I was now back to him. I was put on hold twice, when he came back on he had the gift card number off the receipt. 3 and a 1/2 hours of phone calls and 40 minutes of diving. Not worth it. Pro member since 2011, no more. I'm done. Google 1 star BBB 1 star Game Stop HQ 1 star

Negative experience: I called to see how much a used PS4 controller was she told me between 50-70$ I was in Walmart at the time I called and Walmart had brand-new ones for the same prices needless to say I bought it from Walmart

Negative experience: This place should be closed. They don't have the merchandises in the box that's locked up. They can't find the merchandise. All other controllers are in bags but selling them at a new controller price.

Negative experience: Was charged over MSRP for an item that GameStop showed as on SALE. GREED.

Negative experience: This GameStop absolutely never answers their phone, denies customers pre-order packages they paid for, and closes whenever they feel like it. Skip this one, go to the one on Georgesville rd. instead if you have to go to a GameStop. Don't waste your time here.

Positive experience: Well, at least this GameStop was open (unlike a couple of the other ones on this side of town) and the woman working there was quite nice. Watch out for their hours though...what's posted here is not correct. Sign on the door said they close at 6pm every day during the week, so plan your trip accordingly.

Negative experience: My Xbox was stolen and sold to this GameStop and legally GameStop isn't aloud to receive stollen property when I attempted to get my Xbox back the manager gave me very poor customer service and basically told me there's nothing he can do because it was sent to the refepebshing company I've been dealing with GameStop corporate for over 2 months and they can't even replace my console it doesn't make any sense

Positive experience: Good selection, but the employees seemed not the happiest when you ask questions. I would recommend the one at Georgesville square. It has the same stuff but better employees if you are a parent in need of asking questions about gifts and other things. However if you are somebody who knows alot about the subject or are buying for yourself I would highly reccomend this location.

Negative experience: My wife purchased Super Mario Galaxy for the WII and yes we forgot that we had it, tried it yesterday in 2 Wii and a Wii U all purchased from Game Stop. It was outside the return policy true and he did locate another copy at another store. However the comment that got me was " If you had purchased the warranty we'd be able to replace it." I shouldn't have to buy a warranty from a used game store to assure a working product.
