Negative experience: ⭐️ 1-Star Review — Absolutely Unacceptable This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a retail store. I came into GameStop with my three children and politely waited while two employees “worked.” One literally decided to eat at the counter and told me I had to wait until she was done chewing. Unprofessional does not even begin to describe it. When it was finally our turn, the other employee told her to do a drawer drop. Fine, I waited again. Instead of helping us, the newly freed employee chose to start marking inventory right in front of us. Then came the moment that made my jaw drop. After finishing her drop, she looked me directly in my eyes, in front of my kids, and said: “Thank you so much for not robbing me while I did that.” I was stunned. To imply a paying customer, a parent standing there with children, is some kind of threat is beyond disrespectful. It was disgusting, humiliating, and so wildly unprofessional it almost did not feel real. I will NEVER return to this location, and I truly hope corporate sees this because the behavior I witnessed today was absolutely unacceptable.

Fantastic experience: GLAD I CAME HERE INSTEAD OF BEST BUY!!! Tyrique was so helpful! He helped us pick between an external drive and internal drive for the Playstation 5. Even showed us youtube videos on how the internal one was easy to install. Very helpful and would recommend shopping here for electronic needs.

Negative experience: Just bought a used Xbox one. Immediately does not work makes a load noise when installing a disk. Also called the store on sooner in Midwest City and it says they are open till 9pm and called no answer. Will be back tomorrow to get a refund and and return the item hopefully get my money back and will not be back.. very disappointed..

Negative experience: Have had very good experience with this store before, but today I came to*buy a game* and they were closed *two hours* before their posted closing time. Ended up going to Target instead, which is sad because I initially wanted to support the dying breed of video game stores.

Negative experience: Well need to update my review. Gamestop is horrible. There policies are out of date and will not take returns even 3 hours after bought game for wrong system. Son didn't realize it was for Xbox x instead of Xbox one. And they wouldn't take it. Even though it was not played or used. Was brand new. Wouldn't even exchange it for the right one. So done with old school brick and mortar stores. Will buy everything digital from now on!!!! They lost a customer who has spend thousands upon thousands of dollars. Cause I wanted to support the stores..no more....

Negative experience: I have a simple question to ask and they can't pick up the phone, called 4 times in a 30 min timeframe. I don't want to drive all the way to the store which is in another city, just to get told no. I know y'all ain't that busy to not be answering calls within a 30 minute period. This is probably why the GameStop in my city closed down. Bad customer service.

Fantastic experience: The person who was working here, They said their name was Eric, is a sort of deity of customer service and however much they are paid it is not enough. 10/10 vibes in this GameStop and if I ever have a reason to return to a physical video game store this will be the one I choose. I cannot stress enough Eric is actively making this store a fun place to be. And this is coming from a person who has worked in the service industry for 20+ years and has a lot to say about bad service.

Negative experience: This location is a joke, much as the rest of GameStop. They closed the two Norman stores with no warning. They are less than helpful when you ask questions about anything. Never open on time. Better to just spend your money at the Walmart down the road.

Negative experience: This has become my go-to location since the Norman stores closed and I'm very disappointed. I loved the Norman locations and Francis was always an incredible manager. The Moore GameStop has a fine selection but the customer service is lacking severely. The staff rarely know how to do anything beyond selling and trading in and sometimes they attempt to refuse to even do that. We had an incident where an associate, named Axel, attempted to refuse to take my trade ins because they had a lot of stock to do. This isn't how a business works and they only agreed to take them in after threatening to contact management. It's a shame but it's worth it driving the extra 15 or so minutes to visit the southern most OKC location.

Fantastic experience: Moore OK gamestop ROCKS! Honors returns! I am a resident of Norman, OK, and we've got 2 locations. Both of them refused to honor the extended warranty I bought for my quest 3. The Moore location solved it, and even got me an upgrade! I will always go out of my way to this location from now on!! I believe the girl who helped me was named Axyl, which is a cool name! Thanks again!!!

Negative experience: Visited this store and purchased some Pokemon cards. After checkout, I realized a pack rang up free. Before walking out, I asked the associate why it rang up free and she explained there was a “Buy 3 get 1 free” sale on collectibles. I had purchased 5 packs so I figured why not get 3 more and have one of them be free. The associate said nope we can’t return those. Keep in mind folks, I never even left the store. After circles with her and her manager I was basically told I’m SOL. I didn’t even leave the store yet, and you can’t honor a sale that was never mentioned to me? I was also told I would get a call from another associate who I assume is a higher level manager or handles inventory. I never received a call, I heard nothing. What a joke of a location.. Keep in mind, the receipt explicitly states that collectibles can be returned if purchased through a pro account, mine were exactly that. I have since gone to another GameStop location where they gladly returned my 5 packs and let me pick out 3 more and took advantage of the buy 3 get 1 free sale. Unprovoked, the associate at the new location said it was Moore GameStop’s fault for not mentioning the sale or correcting the issue.

Fantastic experience: Was having issues with a console called customer support and they didn’t even act like they cared told me to see a store luckily I ran into this gentleman named Matt I believe. Negative experience: Worst store I’ve came to in to . The wait was so long . They don’t answer the phone. There was one worker with over 15 people in here. He messed up and had to call the manager . Every single person here waited almost 30 minutes to check out. It wasn’t the ONE workers fault but POOR management complete. Left one new guy to handle everyone during the holidays is ridiculous! On top of that they have deals but you can’t even see what they are because there’s no worker to talk to you. HORRIBLE. Won’t come back here .

Negative experience: They don't test their games before they sell them. Made three trips to the place. Returned a game that didn't work they put it right back on the shelf. Ask them to show me the other game worked. They couldn't figure out how to hook up their own system.

Positive experience: You'd think a company circling the drain would want to be open every minute of their posted business hours. Drove 20 minutes to this location for them to be closed early. Pleaded with employee they laughed and shook their head. Awesome. Super happy I didn't renew my pro account . Too many options out there to deal with companies that don't care about their customers.... Update: the primary manager for this store is the friendliest, most knowledgeable gentleman, saving grace of this place.

Negative experience: This gamestop is garbage....they offer you their promember promotion and tell you how great it is then when you go to pay at the counter they tell you they cant find your game....lol. So i get charged first then i have to wait for a refund because they cant keep track of their already small inventory.....i hope this place goes out of business!

Negative experience: Google says they open at 10:am, arrived at 10, the sign on the door reads 11: am. Its now 11:15 still closed, the only people in the parking lot are customers... called, answering machine says "all gamestop employees are with customers, which is weird seeing how the customers are waiting in the parking lot

Negative experience: Never is open on time. The manager of the store likes to open late because he says he’s busy shopping or doing whatever he likes to do. Opening time is 12pm but no one is ever there to open the store on time. It takes them about an hour to even open the store. Why show the hours when that your open when no one ever there to do so.

Negative experience: My 17 year old daughter went in to take something back that she got overcharged for. They were rude to her and wouldn't give her money back, told her they needed her mom to come in which I thought was stupid because apparently she was old enough to buy something without me but not return it. I went in and the little boy that manages the store kept banging on and on about I shouldn't return the item. I have never had such a hard time returning something. He was a rude little boy and THEN he short changed her 4 bucks. I have never complained on any reviews about anyone or anything. This is the first time, because I just can't believe this rude child is allowed to manage a store.

Negative experience: When I originally purchased my Xbox series x I was told that it came with digital games. There were no codes on the receipt. I explained that to the store associate before I left and said reassured me they would be on the console. When I arrived home I was unable to access them. I had to restart my console is what Microsoft said when I contacted them. This did not work. They told me I would need to go back to the store in order to speak to them. I did go back to the store and I spoke to the manager and she explained that the bundle that was sold to me did not come with games. She said they store associate was mistaken. The bundle cost nearly 700 dollars. She told me she would remedy the situation but she never contacted me back, I would always have to contact her. Next, I contacted corporate they told me they would make it right. I should hear back from them in a few days. It has been months now and I have heard nothing. This company does not care about its customers we are simply a walking dollar sign. I haven’t been able to find a GameStop in years that doesn’t seem to disseminate false information and expect you to just deal with it.

Fantastic experience: Kaden/Caden (sorry not sure which one is correct spelling) did a wonderful job helping me today. I had came in to sell admittedly quite a few videos and he got me in and out with cash in my hand in less than a few minutes. Not once did he make me feel like a burden or unwelcome. I was also impressed with his awareness of the other customers in the store and made sure they were good as well! Thank you again sir!

Fantastic experience: Lacey is by far the best gamestop employee in America. Compared to gamestop on western and I240 is not even comparable. I will now be going to Moore gamestop. She was helpful and explained stuff perfectly. It's worth the 10 mile drive for me. Other gamestops lie and don't know what they're talking about

Fantastic experience: Maria was AMAZING and patient! I am 1000% clueless on these game systems. Well my sons switch was acting up and Nintendo basically said to bad so sad buy another one umm not an option for a single mom on a tight budget. 35$ later it was FIXED she even set it up did the update and everything. Store was clean and organized it was a great experience in store. Spoke with Lacey over the phone earlier in the day and she was great as well.

Negative experience: Placed an order in the store. A couple of days later the store canceled the order and still have not received a refund. Corporate said I have to go back into the store to get the credit. The store says corporate has to issue the refund. So annoying that it's tying up so much money at Christmas time.

Positive experience: The sales associate was super helpful and nice, store was clean and everyone was wearing masks. The only complaint I have isn't necessarily this specific stores fault, but it is still a really big annoyance. They have recently moved to a new display system, where instead of displaying the actual game cases for the games they have available, they are just displaying all of the "current" games in display boxes. What this means is that they could have 5 cases for a game on the shelf, but not actually have any copies of the game in stock. This is what happened to me on Black Friday, I was trying to get a game that they had 3 cases for, but couldn't sell me a copy because they didn't actually have any.

Negative experience: I will NOT buy controllers from GameStop. I bought two refurbished controllers and upon receiving. I don’t get a whole lot of time to play due to work schedules, and when I finally got a time to play both controllers were bad. 1 would not charge Without twisting a certain way in any charger even new ones and the R2 button did not work so I put it to the side and it’s no more. And the other one will Not charge whatsoever. By time I got the chance to test them out I was 1 day out of the 2 week return period. Waste of $80!!!

Fantastic experience: The staff at this particular location have all taken me seriously, very kind and patient with me and my family over the years that we have been going to this store! I bought my Nintendo Switch from this location, and I had it under a payment plan. The whole situation was very easy to handle and the people that worked with me were kind and easy to joke around with. Out of all the Gamestop's that I've been to with my siblings this one is the least stressful of the bunch in my opinion.
