Negative experience: Came here twice in one week. First day it was closed during open hours with shutters down. Came nxt day and there's a sign that says back in 15...30 mins later and I left cuz they didn't come back. Does this store have a staff? I'll just do amazon.

Negative experience: On June 24th, 2024, at roughly 7:10pm, I walked into GameStop and was met with a employee and a customer having a discussion about the Nintendo Switch. I went in there yesterday to purchase a Switch game ended up walking out. The employee was going on and on about how trash the Switch is, and how bad the framerate and such are for select games. While I'm not going to get into details about the specifics of games and the developers, the employee was very loud and very clearly saw us walk past him and the customer, to their Switch area. Meanwhile, we were in there for nearly 10 minutes, unable to find the games, the entire time, the employee was trashing Nintendo. I walked out of the store, and went to Walmart and bought my $60 game. No employee should be actively trashing a company with customers. I try and support GameStop, but it gets harder every year. By no means is Nintendo or the Switch perfect, but it doesn't mean, just because you can't play Elden Ring on the Switch, and the Pokémon games arent perfect, does not mean you can compare such to others. (Those two games are not made by Nintendo). Nintendo makes games to have fun, and not to show off graphics. That employee made me not even want to talk to him, I never made eye contact, and left, and took my business elsewhere. And no, your Switch will not explode.

Fantastic experience: I’m not sure the managers name at this location but I want to thank him. My father is a little older and can’t get around as well as he use to and has found a love for a certain type of video game. He’s a little grumpy bc of the pain he’s in and doesn’t really like many people but the manager at this location is one a the very few exceptions. He says that he won’t go inside unless he is there bc he’s so knowledgeable and even remembers my dad by voice! Now that’s special and hard to find these days so to the manager at this store, THANK YOU! Thank you for treating my grumpy old dad so well. So well, that he feels the need to rave about you and if you really knew my dad he NEVER raves about ANYONE. Youve impressed an incredibly hard man to impress and thought you should know. Thank you again and give this man a raise. I’m grateful that there are people out there that I dont have to worry about taking advantage of him or being mean or just ignoring him all together. Kuddos to you sir.

Negative experience: Very pleased with the young lady for helping us, very disappointed that this store would even have a game this scratched on the shelf. I recently went in and traded out a disc that I bought from another GameStop. I was told I could switch it out and it would be fine & I can get a copy that would work. The copy that they had that I had traded for was worse than the one I bought at the other GameStop off of telephone RD . Most likely will never be back

Positive experience: Normally love this place. Francis is awesome. Unfortunately, today an associate named Matthew snapped at us within a few moments of walking in. "Is there anything I can help you find?" is a whole different sentence when the tone says "if not, GTFO". The customers that walked in after us got a much kinder greeting. I genuinely don't know what made us so despicable to him. The only thing I can think of is that our group contained the only non-white person in the building at the time. Disappointing from one of our favorite stores, and I hope this gets resolved soon.

Negative experience: Be very leery of this location and the people working there! Manager told their employees they can only give the “Free Promo Pokemon cards” to customers who buy at minimum, x3 booster packs of Pokémon or more and limits 1 promo per customer. - Per Ryan, Store Employee Of all the years I have been collecting Pokémon, I have never seen such a slimy and scummy tactic to boost revenue through a supposed reputable company. They have lost my business!!! I’ll be contacting HR, posting to every outlet that I’m able and notifying every collector that I know in the area so they can avoid such tactics.

Negative experience: Chris ( name on my receipt) should really ask if you want the warranty before just casually adding it to the total. Like the young lady who was also with him who asked the customer if that's something they would be interested in. I bet Chris does this thinking he is slick and people won't notice. Your not slick Chris I noticed. Be honest next time dude and stop trying to get one over on your customers.

Negative experience: The WORST "new" game policy ever. They open sealed games and still sell them as "new" at "new" prices when they have sat on the shelves and been handled/abused. This store sold/shipped a game as "new" that had been opened with a damaged case. Corporate customer "service" refuses to honor the used price when game is indeed new. They claim they "don't guarantee sealed new games" - then how they can they "guarantee" that any game is indeed new if they're cracking them all open to rot on the shelves? Printable cover art is a beautiful thing in our digital age - try it and you just might love it (including your customers).

Negative experience: The guy hit on my girlfriend infront of her, made her uncomfortable and said some very interesting things about their policies(saying that employees are supposed to use certain cards for their discounts) that I've never faced in a gamestop before. He removed his mask completely during the transaction more then once and just over all made us uncomfortable. Do not recommend this place, there's other gamestop's that are more worthy of your money.

Fantastic experience: When I went to GameStop today I was greeted and helped immediately. The place was clean and the manager Chris went above and beyond to help me find the game I wanted and gave me a bunch of offers and info on sales. Will be going back for my games from now on.

Negative experience: Looked online for a game. Shows game In stock Drive 35 miles to pick up and was told they have it but cannot sell it because it’s on hold. Said someone called on the phone to hold it. I told the lady that they should change that on their website then, she tells me she should not have told me it’s on hold but I could go check at vintage stock. Said to check back in 2 days to see if the other person picked it up. Wait what about the time and fuel I just lossed, Should have a pending pick up on website. Totally not a way to do business. I frequent this store a lot first time I’ve had a issue. Totally not a way to do customer service, but what can we do. Management will not do anything either.

Fantastic experience: Great game store. Huge selection of games. They even have some older games and game systems like the Nintendo DS and Wii. The way everything is set up is really neat and cool. I bought some fun games for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U. I'm excited to play them.

Fantastic experience: I have always had a good experience, every time I have been in. They are very helpful as soon as you walk in. It is clean and organized. I wouldn't personally trade anything in as you don't get much, if any at all,but thats not my concern for the most part. I am usually in and out in no time!

Fantastic experience: Possibly the biggest Gamestop i have visited. The layout is spacious, and easy to navigate, lots of oddities. Best way to treat gamestop is think of a treasure hunt. I think my group hits one up every other Friday for a new board game or card game

Negative experience: It's GameStop, you could take $1000 of brand new unopened games in and they will offer you $18 in cash or $21 in store credit. Then they will not stop trying to get you to preorder the entire years worth of games saying they come with all kinds of extras, none of which are special to what anyone who preorders somewhere else gets. When you do eventually find the game you are looking for they only have a used copy that they paid $.45 for but have marked up to $19.

Fantastic experience: As a frequent shopper at Gamestop I always expect good customer service. That has been the trend at all the different locations I've visited over the years. This was my first visit at this location. The 2 gentlemen that helped me were very attentive, helpful, and willing to help me with whatever I needed. I have often felt like there's a bond between us "gamers" and this location was just another example of feeling an instant bond with the guys behind the counter. Thank you Gamestop for always making me feel comfortable no matter which location I visit.

Fantastic experience: This is one of the better GameStops that I've visited. It's usually not too busy and the staff are very knowledgeable on the current events of the gaming industry and have great recommendations. For any preorder I've placed here I've always gotten a courtesy call reminding me of the release date to come and pick it up. Although some GameStops leave a poor taste in your mouth when you leave, I enjoy coming to this one.

Fantastic experience: I went today, black friday.. Francis was working. All the employees were helpful and courteous but Francis was awesome he went above and beyond, the best customer service experience I have had in a long time and when I thought there was a mistake he was quick to explain all the new stuff to me and to help and let me trade out what I needed to. I have found my game stop home. As long as this wonderful service continues and this gentlemen works here me and my son will only go here. Thanks so much for enjoying what you do. It shows. Negative experience: Garbage. Every time I have been in this specific location, I have been hassled for getting a card and been on the receiving end of blunt rudeness after declining their upsells. Avoid this location, as it must have something to with their store managers policies.

Negative experience: This has got to be one of the worst locations I have ever been too. The staff is some what friendly and willing to help but their store manager is the WORST! He is rude and acts as though he is Gods gift to man. He is more concerned with making a sale or scamming you into reserving something than he is with helping you find what your looking for or a good deal. He harassed me the second I walked in the door, shoving a flyer in my hands whether I wanted it or not. I much rather drive to the Moore location (out of my way) than deal with this buffoon! If you value your time and your money don't waste your time here you'll just get pushed to buy something you don't want and you'll be lucky to walk out with what you wanted.
