Experiencia negativa: I dont know if its the store itself that made it so customers cant use the app or website to make store pickup orders, the app and website glitching or maybe something corporate did? But the app and website show the store has stock, but everytime you try to place an order for store pickup it suddenly says the store has nothing in stock no matter what you try to order it tries to send you to a different store or defaults your order to shipping. Whatever the problem is it needs to get fixed.

Experiencia negativa: I recently visited the Arden location with the intention of purchasing an Xbox and several games. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. Upon entering the store, I was neither greeted nor offered any assistance. The employee on duty appeared preoccupied, engaged in a personal conversation on their phone about a card game, and made no effort to acknowledge or assist me as a customer. This occurred around 4:30PM on 6/9/25. Due to the lack of professionalism and customer service, I chose to take my business elsewhere and completed my purchase at the Arden Fair location instead. It’s unfortunate that a significant sale was lost over something as simple as a greeting and basic attentiveness. I hope this feedback is taken seriously to ensure better customer service for future visitors.

Experiencia negativa: 4/24/2025-Me and my family decided to have a last minute game night. As I rushed over to the store I made it just in time and was so excited. As I walked in employee "Salem" told a customer she could not buy his games because she closed in 9 mintues but that he could come back tomorrow morning. She seemed agitated that I had walked in before closing I asked for 3 games which were all conveniently not in stock. Elden ring for ps5, the last of us part 2 remastered for ps5, ghost of tsushima for ps5. I'll definitely not be returning to this store. Especially since there's nothing in stock even though the app says it's in stock Thanks for ruining our game night I'll definitely just go to the one at arden mall.

Experiencia negativa: Honestly GameStop. You need to hire more people. Perhaps treat your employees better. Called them at 5:30pm on a Saturday. No answer. Figured they were busy, tried about 30 minutes later. Still no answer. So decided to stop by. By this time it was 6:15, they were CLOSED with a note. That read. Due to staffing shortages. We closed early. Seriously some BS. If your employees don’t want to work fire them. Then hired people who do want to work. Or perhaps you’d have people who want to work, if you treated your employees better. Either way. Unacceptable.

Experiencia negativa: I was walking in at 2:10pm and as soon as I started looking at games the worker said were closing for 1 hr. Sent everyone out of the store no reason or explanation. Nothing on the window was posted about a break in the opening hours. I drove for 20 min just to be told to leave. If the store is going to be closed for 1hr a day or just random times it should be posted. Not able to review the store better because I didn’t get the chance to experience it

Experiencia fantástica: Just bought a new slim PS5 disc version and some games. With their $25 discount and the member rewards I think it was the best price and no shipping wait. Plus I now have another $15 in rewards points. The store is a mile away (Arden and Watt, Sacramento) and has nice and informative employees... I always bug them about getting me some One Piece TNG cards and they help locate them in town. I have been happy with them. I did buy the warranty.

Experiencia negativa: Don't pre-order. I paid full price for two copies of a game. I wasn't told about a "finalized" process even though I paid full price. I arrive, I get in line, and then when it's time to finalize, I'm given a receipt for 50% of my purchase. I can see that the cashier was nervous, so I'm not upset with him. It is this process. I paid full price for two games, and nothing in the system flagged the cashier. The system needs simplification. Also, they ran out of pre-order bonuses. I've never pre-ordered a game before, and this has definitely turned me off from ever doing it again with GameStop. Extra star for the cashier doing his best with poor programming.

They need to figure out a way to have more used games that was the only reason I came to GameStop when I was younger. There always seems to be only one staff member at all times, there should at least be two.

To to knowledgeable about super hero unlike my son his a crazy fetish for Pokémon and and future discoveries. The customer service was great I had serval questions pertaining to Pokémon and kid friendly games they were patient and explained with safe recommendations. Christmas my son loved all the recommended choices. Thanks game stop for a A1 shopping experience. I recommend the Arden way store for great service

Experiencia fantástica: The staff has been super helpful when I've been here. Once they didn't have a game I was looking for, but quickly found it at another location I knew of and has them hold it for me. Other time I found a used game but it had a beat up case, so the staff member not only found me replacement cover and cover art but also gave me a spare one so I would have one in case I needed it for another game in the future.

Experiencia fantástica: First and foremost, let me tell you about Monica and her amazing staff. I don’t trust no other GameStop, and I repeat, NO OTHER GAMESTOP IN TOWN, but this store. Hands down, every time I visit, they are always welcoming and greeting me with very nice warm hello’s and how are you’s? You don’t get that too much nowadays at any store. My one stop shop and game heaven is here and I would so recommend it to all my family, friends, and co workers.
