Experiencia negativa: I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at GameStop. I shop there regularly—about every two weeks—and have never had an issue like this before. During my visit today, I purchased five action figures. One of them was clearly labeled as “new,” but when I got home and opened it, it was obvious that it had already been opened. The figure wasn’t wrapped in plastic as it should have been, and to make matters worse, it was broken. I immediately tried calling the store—14 times—with absolutely no response. After driving an hour back to the store, I was met by a very rude and unprofessional manager who refused to even give me her name. Instead of helping resolve the issue, she made the entire situation uncomfortable and unwelcoming. When I explained that I had been sold an opened, damaged item labeled as new, I expected a simple exchange. Not only was the interaction handled poorly, but I was also charged an additional $1.50 during the exchange process, which made no sense given the circumstances. Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience. Selling opened and damaged items as “new,” ignoring customer calls, and treating loyal customers poorly is completely unacceptable. I won’t be returning to this location.

Rude employees, when you ask a question they answer you like they could care less! People do yourself a favor and DO NOT SHOP at this store! You will not regret it!

Experiencia negativa: If you looking to buy your Nintendo switch 2 here I would suggest going anywhere else. At this location the employees told me they have a dolphin mall policy that they can only sell it you as a bundle with a ton of unnecessary accessories for over 650$! When I mentioned that I didn’t want the add ons and just the switch they said they would not sell me the console as is. Absolutely terrible service! I went to target right after and got my switch with 3 games for about the same price. I will never go to this GameStop again. From what I read online it’s apparently the regional managers pushing for this.

Experiencia fantástica: Excelente experiencia en GameStop – Dolphin Mall. Desde que entré, el ambiente fue súper agradable y la atención de Jami marcó totalmente la diferencia. Fue amable, paciente y realmente sabía de lo que hablaba. Me ayudó con todo el proceso del trade-in, explicándome cada paso y resolviendo mis dudas sin ningún apuro. Además, me dio muy buenas recomendaciones según lo que estaba buscando y hizo que todo el proceso fuera rápido y fácil. Da gusto encontrar personas que disfrutan su trabajo y hacen que comprar (y hacer trade-in) sea una buena experiencia, no solo una transacción. Experiencia negativa: I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my experience today with two GameStop locations, specifically the Davie, FL store and the Dolphin Mall location. I am requesting urgent contact from a district or corporate manager regarding this matter. I initially visited the Davie, FL GameStop to replace a PlayStation. I was informed by the store manager, Tiffany, that they could not complete the replacement at that location and was explicitly directed to go to the Dolphin Mall GameStop, where I was told a new replacement could be issued. Upon arriving at the Dolphin Mall location, I was assisted by the assistant store manager, Joshua. After explaining why I was sent there, Joshua stated that they had one PlayStation in inventory, but that it was used. He refused to provide a new replacement despite customer service confirming—over the phone—that the transaction could be completed with a new replacement. Joshua responded by stating that “customer service and in-store do not go together” and that he “could not do it.” I requested that Joshua contact his store manager. He refused. Instead, he contacted the area manager, Eddie, and placed the call on speakerphone. Eddie also refused to honor what customer service had already approved. The only unit Joshua claimed they had available turned out to be a display/demo unit, which I refused due to uncertainty regarding its condition. When I asked Joshua to call his manager back to clarify that the only available replacement was a display unit, he initially refused. After repeated requests, he pretended to make a phone call and then walked away from the counter when I asked him to place the call on speaker. Throughout this interaction, Joshua repeatedly claimed to be looking things up on the computer, changed his explanations multiple times, and provided inconsistent and misleading information. His conduct was unprofessional, dishonest, and extremely frustrating. I was given conflicting information, denied a replacement that customer service approved, and ultimately left without a resolution. This experience was unacceptable. I am requesting immediate contact from a district or corporate manager to review this situation, address the conduct of the employees involved, and provide a proper resolution. I expect this matter to be taken seriously and resolved promptly.

Experiencia negativa: When I tell you I just had the worst experience at this game stop in Dolphin mall. I got a Switch by Nintendo the whole box except the controllers. I was told that never happeneds ! Ppl things happen all the time and it’s called a mistake. Jamileth told me it’s wasn’t impossible that happened. Y’all my son has ASD and doesn’t know how to lie!! And when I tell you he was upset about those controllers not being in the box . He couldn’t understand why and neither could I! The service was unsatisfactory in my opinion. If this happens again or has happened please let them know. And ask them to open the box before you buy it. Smmfh!!!

Experiencia negativa: The worst service. The employees are rude and ill-mannered. As a customer, I'm here to shop, not to be treated poorly just because I don't know about a product in the store. I don't recommend buying anything from this store. Experiencia negativa: Staff member with purple hair had the most rude and condescending attitude. I asked to look at an item I wanted to buy, held it in my hand for a minute and she made me return it in the middle of my looking at it and asking questions like I was about to run off with it. Asked a few more questions and she sounded so bothered to answer them. They require a pro account fee if you buy in store but not online for the same exact item. When I asked about time to fulfill the order if I purchased online, she said she didnt know and neither does anyone else at the store. What kind of unethical business with the WORST customer service are you running? I'm not buying a stick of gum, its a $200 item. Don't treat me like I'm buying a bag of chips.

Experiencia negativa: Walked into GameStop ready to spend $200 on a Nintendo Switch, but the experience was so bad we just left. The associate (purple hair) had a very condescending attitude and acted like selling a console was the last thing she wanted to do. When I asked about the automatic bundle, she refused to explain it and brushed us off with attitude. Absolutely terrible customer service. It’s no wonder GameStop is going out of business if this is how they treat customers.

Experiencia negativa: if i could give zero stars i would, place is terrible. worker at register gave attitude when asking about a powerpack and tilted his head like a dumb animal. called for multiple days for hours with no phone response. (keep in mind i walked in and there was maybe 2 families looking at the shelves obviously walking out with nothing. they have almost no product either, all the furry employees i’m pretty sure load up on the good stuff. All the shelves have literal junk for sale, I wish I took photos because it was honestly embarrassing how bad the environment and shelves were there.

Experiencia negativa: Two overweight customers(early 30s in age) in front of me were buying some Pokemon Prismatic bundles and surprise boxes. One for each of them on separate Game Stop accounts. They declined three other boxes the young employee brought out from the back, since they “were too expensive” and the employee put them back in the store room where he just brought them out from. Another, older employee, was talking to the same two customers about how she hides the pokemon stuff in the back because a scalper comes and buys it all and she wants “the kids” to get some(it’s one SKU per customer on Pokémon products currently, so a “scalper” cannot buy all the product like she claimed). After 10 minutes of waiting for them to finish talking, it was my turn in line. I asked if I could have one of each prismatic product and a Cynthia box(one of the “overpriced” items the other customers declined to buy). The older employee told me they had no more. I assume she didn’t see her co worker bring out a number of Pokemon items or she was just mad about her botched nose job. I didn’t make a fuss. I paid for the items I had and left. Either way, the store has a great selection of stuff but everything is overpriced. Everyone that has been shopping at GameStop over the years already knows this. I’ll be back, of course.

Stick around for one of their Pokemon drops and you’ll see people inexplicably leaving with product they’ve supposedly sold out of for hours. Experiencia negativa: Would not recommend this store. Tried to buy a used Nintendo switch and they tried to upcharge me $150 based on a “bundle” that their “store policy” required which also included a GameStop membership and other things. She became rather flustered when I told her I could buy it cheaper online and have it picked up at the exact store. I did that instead and she said that she would prepare the order when it showed up. They claimed it didn’t show up by the time the store closed and canceled my order after I left. Really scummy behavior.

Experiencia negativa: Was lied to about the Ps5 needing a warranty in store by a worker and the manager. Was lied to about prices for Astro Bot bundle. Both online and in app prices are cheaper. In store they tried to charge $120 more then what it actually is. When I placed the order via the app the cancelled the order due to no inventory but when I called to verify they had multiple devices. This store and its workers lie too much. This is not good business

Experiencia fantástica: Stopped by GameStop this morning to check if any Pokémon cards were available, and to my surprise, they had some in stock. Both employees working were extremely professional and well-organized, ensuring the limited supply was managed fairly. Their customer service was excellent, and the overall experience was great. Kudos to both employees for their professionalism! I’ll definitely be back.

Experiencia negativa: A GAMESTOP EMPLOYEE NAMED KRISTIAN TRIED TO SCAM ME TODAY Started off my day just wanting to pick up a copy of a game for the PS5 and asked for the copy today at the checkout a man with a face tattoo goes ahead and struggles to find the copy of the game for 10 mins straight mind you you’d think they would keep it out since it’s a new game that just got released today but I digress, I continue to wait and he after all the time has his coworker and manager help him find it, he finally comes out with the copy and says if I have a phone number and I reply “no thank you I don’t want to sign up for anything or buy anything else” he says okay and then when it’s getting time to pay he reaches over and started pressing the buttons on the screen I didn’t see what he did so I intentionally pressed the cancel button and he got mad so I say oh my bad I accidentally pressed the cancel option so he does it again quick and I don’t figure anything next thing you know HE INTENTIONALLY ADDED A 5.99 ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR A WARRANTY I DIDNT ASK FOR thank god the manager passes by and I say hey why did he do this when I said I didn’t want anything else and she apologized and ands him why he charged me for that HE SAYS IN SPANISH I WANTED IT NOT KNOWING IM PUERTO RICAN AND BLACK MIXED that I wanted it and I say no I didn’t bro you was reaching your hand over and trying to meet quota and tried to scam me he try’s to tell me I HAVE TO RETURN THE WHOLE GAME AND BUY IT AGAIN I look and say I’m not doing that and thank god the manager was near by and she jumps in to say no you don’t need to do that so this guy basically LYING TO ME AND HIS MANAGER TO SAVE HIMSELF long story short they gave me cash instead of refunding it to my card and I was late to work because of a GameStop employee trying to meet quota or something just ask for your receipt or go to Best Buy because who knows how many people he’s done this to.

I still drove to the place because my guy feeling was that the person that I spoke to on the phone was an idiot. Experiencia negativa: These people are literally thieves. Went inside for a meta quest 3 and the guy first told me it’s $600 and then he said it’s $550. I went online and showed him that GameStop is selling this product online for $499. I asked him how this can make any sense and he said the online price is different and started helping someone else. They are charging extra on top of retail so they can pocket the cash.

A má fé foi tão descarada que cobrou até pela sacolinha quando poderia ter oferecido uma gratuita. Fui ROUBADO e a loja só oferece reembolso se eu for pessoalmente até o estabelecimento da venda.

Experiencia negativa: So almost a year ago I bought the warranty for a ps5 controller when they use to replace with a new when one if something went wrong The lady store manager told the employee no u can't do that no more they changed the policy even though he told me since I bought it before the change I should still get a new one... he looked at her confused. I didn't really care I just wanted a replacement really because I had drift on the analog stick so she/he gave a me so called refurbished controller and I bought the warranty again like I always do for many years... I get home and u can tell this controller wasn't refurbished at all one analog stick was destroyed didn't even work... the O button was stuck... and the R2 was clicking lol. I went back a lil bothered what a waste of time like a 30 min drive for me. I asked the store manager do u just get the broken controllers that u get from customers on trades or warranty and stick them in the bag to resell with out shipping them out to be repaired and she said yes... after saying yes she looked awkward and didnt look at me again. I refunded my warranty and got my old controller back ended up buying a new one never buying warranty again from gamestop due to this experience she was also very rude and not understanding at all she did not care one bit and she had very poor customer service skills. I wasn't rude at all or acted out of place until she said I don't care call corporate laughing at me.. then my luck the brand new controller was damaged also a manufacturing defect the paint was messed up had a starch going across the d pad and a smudge paint right out of the box so went back again quickly well that didn't matter they did nothing to help me because of there policy Thankfully she wasn't there this time when I returned I will never go to that store ever again only reason I went there was because it was the only store that had my controller in stock. honestly never had any kind of experience like this at any other gamestop. I don't know how she is a manager mind boggling really, a child can do a better job.

Experiencia negativa: Store leader Jami has a terrible attitude towards customers. I asked for assistance with a game and she got a call in the middle of it and instead of putting it on hold she just started talking and I had to wait until she was done. I later asked her about why the new game I just purchased had the box opened and explained it to me it was because it was the last copy but she repeated it over 3 times like I was some kind of mentally disabled person. Very rude, despot and disrespectful individual. I feel very sorry for the people that have to work under her, they probably don't last a week under that kind of leadership that doesn't realize they have to lead with example.

I went to to store looking for a 2 player game for my 2 kids, usually I ask someone at the store to help me, because I don’t play games, the first girl was trying to be helpful, but she asked for a Blonde girl to help her, she asked my kids age 13, 7, and she said very loud, PLAYSTATION is not for KIDS. She was talking (flirting with a guy), and said I’m helping this guy, like I was bothering her, so the other girl tried to look for some games, and I noticed the guy wasn’t even a client, but they were too friendly with conversation and giggles, touching each other , that’s not my business, but she said again, loud , “not games for kids” , the girl that was trying to help, found a sponge bob game, and I bought it , because it’s my son’s birthday, and I’m not from the area, I didn’t have time to look for another place. I highly recommend the owner give the employees some training., BAD SERVICE.

Experiencia positiva: Good pricing and promotions. Plenty of staff, but mostly observing customers to prevent loss in items. Register lines ran smooth, at times 3 personnel and then 2 while waiting in line. Very helpful and friendly staff. Courteous and great upsellers, especially with the Game Stop Pro membership, you get your money's worth.

Experiencia negativa: The lady with glasses that works there is not very friendly. I waited in front of counter in front of her for 5 minutes before she decided to help. She was actually pulling out the game I ordered online for pickup not knowing it was my order. So when she finally decide to greet me she said oh I was just working on that order. Then rudely told me to wait a hour next time before I pick up an online order because it typically takes her one hour to fulfill online orders. Keep it mind I saw her reach the cabinet behind her and pull out the game and it took a total of 3 seconds. Don't waste your time here unless you want bad customer service.

Experiencia fantástica: Chill little video game store, there are two in this mall. One in the main entrance (same direction to the movie theater/dave and busters) and one near the food court entrance. They don't got alot of trading cards though so be aware if you into that.

Experiencia negativa: I bought a brand new game for ps5 on nov 25 , and it was a Christmas gift. My son got a digital version of the ps5 on Christmas. I went by to exchange it for a ps5 gift card or store credit 35 days after since the 30 days expired on Christmas Day , nothing can’t be done. The manager at the store was no help , bad costumer service, didn’t even try to help. I would rather buy the games at amazon.
