Experiencia fantástica: I went to this store last week back to back different people behind the register and the same result. They were the most polite and helpful group I have dealt with in a long time. The second day I was helped by the manager and she was awesome, super patient with me as I am just getting into buying Pokemon Cards. I highly recommend this store.

Experiencia negativa: It’s truly sad to have a retail store become a Pokemon scalper. I’ve been consistently purchasing Pokemon cards from GameStop for the last 5 years. It used to be very simple, you walk in and purchase products based on their pricetag. Fast forward to 2026 and they sell Pokemon at market pricing which “fluctuates”. I walk in and see two ETBs priced at DOUBLE msrp. I have been unable to find product for retail so I decided to buy them. I get to the register and was told that the market price is now $60 higher and they cannot honor their own price. I had to go back to work so I decided not to argue with the nice lady at the register. At some point stores need to honor the prices that THEY have displayed. I’ve had prices not displayed correctly at Target and Best Buy and never had this issue. I will definitely go to GameStop as a last resort for anything moving forward.

Experiencia negativa: This location is one of the better game stops but like all game stops they are under staffed and now they are scalpers and raising prices over sticker on Pokemon products. Bad businesses when you charge for a pro membership and give a 10% discount on products marked up over 50-100%

Experiencia positiva: The manager is extremely rude, likes to recommend games theyre trying to get rid of to rookie buyers like me. They never explained I couldn't return new games so all the games I got were new. When I went back to the store, they got so upset I wanted to return the games they didn't want to give me my receipt after the exchange was made. They said they couldn't give it to me anymore and gave me one from the system. I go to another gamestop and the receipt they gave me did not work. So now I am stuck with new games that I bought for $60 and will only be bought back for $7. Be alive when you come into the store because the employees but mostly the manager just want you in and out. Not to mention I called time after time and nobody picks up the phone.

Experiencia negativa: I usually enjoy visiting GameStop, but my experience at this location was frustrating. I asked about a specific item that was clearly advertised as in-store only, and the item was on the shelf in front of me yet the gamestop employee (Melissa) told me it was already “sold online.” That’s simply not true, and it felt like an excuse to keep the item from being available to customers. It’s disappointing when employees aren’t transparent, especially with collectible or limited items. It gives the impression that certain products are being held back or backdoored. I hope GameStop looks into practices like this, because customers deserve honesty and fair access—not misinformation

Experiencia fantástica: I have patronized GameStop for over 15 years and I must say that the location in Hialeah was one of my best experiences while shopping at GameStop. Melissa and Jose are awesome! They were both very professional and courteous. Jose goes the extra mile to ensure that the customer has a pleasant experience. The store is well kept and stocked. In addition, all of the employees at this location are excellent, I have no complaints.

Nintendo Switch 2 preorders went quite well despite the systems crashing at trade in (GameStop’s fault). Experiencia negativa: Ruined my son’s birthday. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but MELISSA the manager left me no choice. I ordered a PS5 and a few other items for PICKUP the next day. Next day comes I get an email confirming that my order is ready for pickup. Get to the store and I come to find out I accidentally put my nickname instead of my government first and last name. And she refused to give me my ps5 because I didn’t put my first name only last name. Even though I’m showing her the CONFIRMATION email and literal transaction on my bank account. I understand some people can get away with manipulating technology to get a free item but I’m literally showing you the receipts. With all that being said I told her not to cancel the order because I was going to figure out this situation. She said no and cancelled the order without my permission and now I have to wait a week to get refunded my $700. Got my ps5 from Best Buy whilst using the same nickname and no issues. Some people don’t deserve customer service jobs if they can’t handle the job

Experiencia negativa: This gamestop sold me a used controller, which was an unofficial not supported PS4 Controller. Unfortunately during all the christmas craziness, I was unable to find the receipt, I want in Person and I was told I need one to make a return. I have been trying to reach customer support of any kind, Email, Phone, and even Chat messages online. To summarize I am now past the return time period and they kept ny $50.00 for an unofficial, not working, unsopported PS4 controller. And the customer service agents seem to have this god complex where their time is so valuable that they can not even spend more than 20 seconds before they say they cant help me. I know the date when I bought It, I have the phone number on the account, I even have the gamestop rewards card. However, according to the "manager" their is nothing that can be done to find my mystical paper receipt :o. Suffice to say, I will never in my life on this planet give you people one more cent.

Experiencia negativa: I went to the store to buy a Christmas present. Melissa put me on subscription that cost me $15 and renews every year automatically. She didn’t ask me anything or explain it to me. I try calling and the wait time was 40 minutes. I had to drive back to the store. Two young employees were very kind to help me. I am very upset because i was put into o subscription without my concern and instead of saving money I ended up spending more. The subscription cost me $15 and it saved me $12!!! Makes no sense and it’s totally illegal what they did!!!

Experiencia fantástica: By far the BEST GameStop I have ever stepped into. So full of merchandise from different fandoms, super organized and clean, the cashier was really helpful with giving directions to another GameStop and even called ahead so that they could hold the item I was trying to get. The amount of FigPins they have are absolutely insane. I even managed to find a Shinobu Kochō FigPin(harder to find than ya think). If you’re anything like me, someone that loves merch, please come here. (I found a super cute Sailor Moon bottle here too)

Experiencia negativa: Nobody is picking up the phone at all it's funny how I asked another GameStop to call they picked up but don't answer a customers call and yesterday before I got there same issue not one phone call answered it just rings and rings and sometimes is busy like it's left in purpose I know the manager is a great one from another store previously she should see who is behind this atrocity of ignoring customer calls

Experiencia fantástica: Not gonna lie I haven't been in this game stop in 14 years, so it has changed quite a bit from what I remember. Super spacious which I love. The environment just had a cool vibe to it. Worker was friendly, nice, and very helpful. They had very cool anime things such as socks, hats, board games, etc. Big naruto fans, so we stopped and took a picture of a nice bag and shirt.

Glenda (who was rude from the moment I walked into the store), added insurance to my purchase without me knowing. Fortunately, I noticed the price disparity and brought it to her attention (upon which she subsequently removed). Not sure how many unsuspecting customers she’s does this to regularly, so I heed this warning: buyers beware when dealing with Glenda!!!

Experiencia fantástica: El lugar estaba muy bien organizado y el diré la tienda sabe muy bien su calidad de juegos y otras ideas que tienen muy bien sentido de común. The place was very well organized and I will say the store knows very well its quality of games and other ideas that have a very good sense of commonality.
