Experiencia negativa: I am a supervisor and one of my responsibility is customer service. I went in to browse and maybe purchase a game for old times sake. Nostalgia, I would say. The minute I came in I was approached, not the first person who came in, but I was approached and greeted. Since then I was being watched as I was looking for anything of interest to buy. I knew they were watching me simply because I was wearing a bag. I'm leaving this review because this isn't customer service and gamestop as a company will only become a statistic in time. I hope this helps.

Experiencia negativa: My husband was there and was treated very poorly by a tall, thin, blond salesman. My husband does not speak English well but understands it perfectly and the salesman was rude in his treatment. The girl who was serving was also very sorry for her colleague's behavior. Because he is Latino he should not have been treated badly by the American salesman... that is a symbol of hate and racism. To work as a salesman you must be someone with charisma and empathy. He is not giving us anything. Our money is worth the same as the money of a blond, green-eyed American man.

Experiencia negativa: 2 of the employees today are super sketchy and love to come up with lies. 3 different lies about a pop figure that dropped today. They should've at least got their stories together. They are holding items for friends or employees for sure which isn't right if you are a customer waiting 45 mins in line for something.
Experiencia negativa: They are not upfront about the return policy, they never flagged that if the system was opened, I would only get back about 33% of what I paid for. The system literally was opened for less than a week. It was never used. It was too complicated for my son to use and I went to return it upon returning a brand new system the store manager tells me he can only buy it back for me for a 33% fraction of what I paid for. complete and total dishonesty please go to Best Buy or somewhere else. Do not deal with these people be warned. My autistic child could not figure out this system and they had no compassion whatsoever.

Experiencia positiva: My son traded in some games, the gentleman who helped him was patient and answered all his questions. He didn't talk down to him and even helped him make some decisions. I appreciated him taking the time to acknowledge my son.
Experiencia negativa: I honestly don’t know how someone this rude and lazy managed to get hired. I walked into GameStop to do a simple trade-in, and the guy behind the counter acted like I had just ruined his entire day by existing. The constant eye-rolling, sighing, and complete lack of effort was unbelievable. He made zero attempt to be helpful — clearly too busy being annoyed at having to do his job. Every question I asked was met with a sarcastic look or a mumbled, half-assed answer like I was beneath him. Spoiler alert: you’re not special because you work at GameStop, and it’s not my fault you hate your job. If rolling your eyes is your go-to response for customer interaction, maybe try working somewhere that doesn’t involve people — or better yet, not working at all. I left without trading anything in, and I’ll never step foot in that location again. It’s honestly embarrassing that this is the kind of employee they choose to represent their brand.

Experiencia fantástica: Went in this Sunday evening to trade in a PS5 . Marc helped me with the trade and the transaction was seamless. Got an excellent trade in value and being a GameStop Pro gives you a greater trade value. Marc was extremely professional and helped me upgrade to a new PS5 with the trade in credit I got. A+ customer service and transaction. Highly recommend this Gamestop and Marc.
Experiencia negativa: So I went there yesterday early afternoon 9-25-2004 a young guy was working with long hair that I was trying to sell my cell phone to. When he was Looking At my phone he was looking for any single little thing That was wrong with it which I understand that's his job. There was a little tiny scratch on the side of the phone that you Can't even barely see under a microscope. Besides that, there were no other issues. When He plugged the charger He said it didn't work. Which I feel he was lying. Because I barely used that phone and my charger didn't even move at all when it was connected. He told me that he can't buy the phone. But at least you got a free clean from it. I wanted to punch him in the face. For being a smart ass! Today I went around other places. They checked my phone and it was in perfect condition and even got $100 for it. More than I would have gotten from them so in A way It was a blessing. He's just Lazy And didn't want to put any effort in processing the phone.

I bought an Nintendo switch pro controller and it stop functioning in less then 2 weeks not only the seller didn’t want to exchange the controller for me even though I had bought the warranty for an year. This store is a scam do not buy there. Go to other retailers.

The two employees that were present were extremely nice and attentive to all the customers present. I believe the one who assisted me was the manager. The new Zelda was out today so the store had a significant number of customers. I witnessed them being so helpful to all of us, as well as organized and efficient. I usually do not go to Gamestop but this experience was so pleasant I wanted to leave a review.

Experiencia positiva: I'm writing this solely on my experiences at this location, I see some other negative reviews but that just has to do with policies that some of these employees are forced to follow and have no choice but to enforce them. I have been coming to this store for a while and the crew are always very friendly, cordial, and are very attentive to anything that I need when going in, if they don't have the item they recommend a list of other placer establishments that are not GameStop related that help me find what I am looking for. The establishment is also always clean and I'm grateful to have this location left in this area since the other one closed a few years ago.

Experiencia negativa: Bought several games from the store, but came under financial hardship and had to return them two days later. The store manager Danny was rude and demeaning. He did his best to make me feel bad about the return and he and I got into words. A few hours after returning the games, Danny calls me to say that “my return couldn’t be finalized”. The store kept my money and the games. I had to escalate to the district manager.

Experiencia negativa: Went to see if any DS game consoles were available. The person working said they had one. Let me see it and hold it in my hands. Just to be utterly disappointed. Immediately after ringing me up they said it was not for sale and could not be reserved for purchase later on. I have never been more let down ever before. We asked if anything could be done. They said no. Zipped the DS back up and took it to the back room. Why even offer a product just to disappoint the customer.

I walked in 2 employees eyed me did not acknowledge my existence at all ignored me and then 1 employee decided to go in the back room to hide. Anyway, 2 other customers come in and they are attended right away. My advice? Stay the hell away from this GameStop, it’s no wonder why these stores are closing down, poor customer service, outrages prices, and even with your pro elite membership it’s not worth dealing with these people. Go to amazon or some other place, but stay the hell away from here.

BUT at the end he was saying I was asking for a lot of video games when clearly I am a video game collector: I don’t see anything wrong in that. Then he rushed me and said we have to end this transaction right now man you’ve been taking too long and have been asking for too long when clearly it’s his job to help me as a customer. So for now I’m putting three stars since the end of the transaction was uncomfortable for me.

Experiencia fantástica: My wife and I have been shopping for games for our sons here for many years.... the staff has always been very helpful answering questions about hardware, making recommendations based on what platforms are better and what games are worth the price... whenever there is a big release, these guys have a really good system for picking up the game in an orderly fashion trying to get everyone who pre-ordered out as quickly as possible.
