Experiencia fantástica: I went to this location today to see about trading in my ps4 pro and Xbox one x for a ps5 slim tyler the guy here made it so simple and easy. 5 stars across the board he told me about the member ship anything 250$ or more is free to upgrade the membership and which got more for my tradeins. Im very pleased with the transaction today and definitely will be coming back for more postive interactions at this spot thanks again Tyler

Experiencia negativa: Like another reviewer named Troi mentioned, I’ve had a similarly frustrating experience — though in my case, it was even more unacceptable. A few weeks ago, I pre-ordered the new Pokémon game and finished paying it off on the 13th. However, I later found out that the associate who completed my transaction had mistakenly charged me for the DLC at full game price ($65) instead of the correct DLC price of $30. When I went to the store to pick up my game and get my final receipt, I was told that I hadn't actually purchased the game, only the DLC — meaning they couldn’t give me my preorder, even though the mistake was clearly on their end. The employee’s error was acknowledged, but instead of fixing it, I was told that if I wanted the game, I’d need to pay for it again. I asked for a refund for the incorrect charge, but was told I’d have to contact GameStop customer service. So I paid a second time to get the game that night and then the next day i called customer service — only to be bounced around for 20 minutes, after which I was told to go back to the store because only they could help.I returned to the store while still on the phone with customer service so they could speak directly to the manager. After a brief conversation, both sides claimed neither the store nor customer service could issue the refund. What’s worse is that this was the same manager who had told me the day before to call customer service because they would handle it — only to now tell me that due to policy, DLC purchases are non-refundable, even when purchased in error by their own staff. So I’m now out $65 due to a mistake I didn’t make. I’m not angry at the employee who made the honest mistake — but I am extremely disappointed in how the manager handled the situation. He misled me, wasted my time, and then offered insulting “solutions” like reselling the DLC to someone else or returning the game I bought the second time and just accepting the $65 loss. This is unacceptable customer service. I’m simply asking for my money back for a product I did not intend to purchase and was incorrectly charged for by GameStop’s own staff.

Came to the midnight release and waited in line to be given A DOWNLOAD CODE because the employee who took my order apparently did it wrong. Mind you, the manager watched this employee take my preorder and I made it clear I was ordering a physical copy.

Experiencia fantástica: I had an issue bringing in my console yesterday with an employee. Called the store again today and spoke with Ryan, he was very professional and helpful with my accommodation. He didn’t bend or break any rules, he just knew the correct training and information. Really solid guy, talked to him for a few minutes while he rang me up. He was the only employee there and he was pretty much doing everything and multitasking with some others while helping me. He was still fast and attentive. He also helped me get a pro membership with my sale, he was smart and very informative. Thanks for helping me out Ryan, I think you do a great job from what I’ve seen.

Experiencia negativa: This has become a terrible place to purchase something that brings me joy. Being offered less than what the website is offering to buy things for. They ado will sell you crappy consoles and consoles with missing parts like hdmi. But when you wont sell them those parts you bought and need still they offer you way less for your things. I hate to say this, i am so glad this company is closing stores. The once great gaming store fell from grace a decade ago and i feel bad for all their employees for having to work there.

Experiencia negativa: my son while playing drop the controller few times from his hands to the floor, nothing very bad to break them, that was 1 month after buying them, the exterior was fine it was an interior problem wire or something, so i ask if we can exchange them since i payed(35$) warranty, the employee was very nice and tell me we contact you when controller arrive after ordering them, still waiting after 3 months, i regret having payed the warranty DONT buy warranty!!! save your money

I went to this location and was wanting to sell my Xbox series s and the guy offered me $90 for it… online it shows that you can get $154 for it or $220 store credit so I told the guy no and went to another location that offered me the $154 or $220 credit. I’m not sure what this guy did but he either put my item as defective or he just didn’t know what he was doing.

Experiencia fantástica: A little before they announced the remaster of Demon's Souls they sold me a PS3 and a copy of Demon's Souls because I had beaten every other SoulsBorne game and wanted to experience the game that started it all (Besides King's Field) and I'm not even kidding.... a week later they announced the remaster for PS5. Well jokes on them, I'll never be able to afford a PS5 so I played the Original Game, on Original Hardware....and there's still online support for the game if you can believe that. Just look it up on Reddit. Me and my buddy were able to play a game from 2009 together across the country....and I got invaded.... It was AMAZING!!!! I used the lay down emote and hid from the invader and my friend kept taking whacks at him until he ran out of estus and we bum rushed him. I ran at him with my katana while my friend shot arrows threw me and they landed on the invader and we finally killed him! I'll always remember that moment.... Thanks GameStop!

I'd rather buy in person, then online but customer service is so bad that it forces people to buy online. It's very unfortunate the way this workforce is coming along. I called the store and was told it was a common problem with a refurbished unit and it's just to bad they don't last. ENOUGH SAID I will never buy from game stop ever again. Experiencia negativa: I recently had the opportunity to “purchase” an elite trainer box at one of your stores online for pick up, but was told that they had sold it even after I had purchased it online. I called the Arizona, Baseline store to ask if they had any Pokémon elite trainer boxes available, the gentleman on the phone mentioned yes, but was not able to place on hold, best way is to purchase it online and come to the store to pick up. As soon as I hung up, I immediately went on the application and purchased the item I wanted for pickup and paid through PayPal at 4:44pm. I excitingly got up, left my house and drove 30 minutes to the store I had placed the order at. Once I got to the store I asked the woman employee at the counter that I was there to pick up my item I purchased over the GameStop application. She and another employee (man in glasses), looked skeptical when I had asked them for the item. They look over at some papers together, and came back toward me, and the man said that my item was purchased by someone else. I told the man, “Sir, I purchased the item online 30 mins ago, what do you mean you sold the item?” He then mentioned, “Did you not get the cancellation email?” At that moment, I looked into my email on my phone and saw no email. “ the man tried to give me an answer that we both knew was an excuse. I could not believe the item I had purchased online was gone and sold to someone else. I walked out of the store and got into my vehicle, and as soon as I started my ignition, I finally received the cancellation email at 5:24pm the GameStop employee had previously mentioned! I have been shopping at GameStop for 15 plus years and could not believe something like this happens!

Experiencia negativa: so i bought a mix amp pro on November 23 from this location today December 5 and i brought it back to get a refund because the item was not working properly so the employee told me to bring all the stuff the came with it so i did and he said i had the wrong item with the box that the serial number didnt match i did not swap them or anything but he didnt know what to tell me other then say i got the wrong one and theres nothing i could do so advice dont buy any headset, controllers, hardrive, anything that is a electronic that theres something wrong with it, might have the wrong Serial Number!!!!!!!>:(

Experiencia fantástica: I have been a huge GameStop supporter for years, overall I like their business model, company culture, and I really enjoy their perks and prices. The location closest to me actually closed down and I discovered this location. It has now become my favorite store in all of the valley. I can't lie, I have had lots of really good experiences in this store and legitimately have had fun shopping here. I'm not a shopaholic so fun isn't normally how I would describe a shopping experience. Ultimately I think the manager here, Marky, really helps create an extremely positive environment, so much so that I always feel extremely comfortable in his store. He always makes the experience that much more. I would give 6 stars if Google would let me. My first experience is definitely worth sharing! I went in to trade in some games and purchase a new game. My girlfriend was looking to purchase me a gift so she opted in to pay for my pro renewal and to pay for the remaining balance on my new game, which was only $5 or so after all my trade-ins. I made a half-joke that she really gave me a great gift with the pro membership and we all laughed about it. It wasn't until later on that I found out she had secretly communicated with him right in front of me and got me some awesome batman socks and a $50 Nintendo e card. I really appreciate Marky, his employees, and the GameStop family for giving me great service after all these years.

Experiencia fantástica: Came here with my boyfriend the day before Father's day and I was trying to be super stealthy when it came to getting my boyfriend a game and the store manager was so awesome! He took my cues and went along with it! I was able to surprise him on Father's day with the gifts that I had gotten him and he had no clue that we did it right in front of him! Thank you so much! Experiencia positiva: Reserved a game online and it was ready when I got there. Friendly staff, and the store though small was easy to walk through. Would recommend to anyone looking for new video games.

Experiencia fantástica: The lady who helped me out after I purchased a Mario hat was genuine, and very helpful. Glad there's a game store in the area I can depend on!
