Experiencia negativa: Bought a brand new console a couple months back. The controller was a lemon and I quickly had stick drift and buttons sticking. I went in and they wouldn't allow a return after 15 days. 15 days on a NEW controller seems ridiculous. I feel like I bought an old controller and was sold it as new. They were unwilling to work with me and even requested I trade it in and buy a new one. I have been going to the GameStop for along time, but this was the last time Ill purchase anything from them. Horrible customer service.

Experiencia negativa: Went in to buy a game for my son, had a couple quick questions but the female employee working was too busy with a conversation about her Pokemon collection to acknowledge we were in the store. Too bad too because I was ready to buy a new system and games.

I get down there and the girl tried everything to try to find the case because the game was brand new couldn't find it so she sold me the game as a used game. Girl went out of her way to try to make sure everything was okay with the transaction.

Experiencia negativa: I went to GameStop to return a controller controller on warranty a few weeks ago. The first store wouldn't do an exchange for a new controller. They would only do it for a used controller. Come to find out, they changed the policy so that they would only do used controller exchanges. That's not what I paid for when I purchased the warranty. The warranty said that I could exchange it for a new controller. This is what the associate told me, and this is what I agreed to. Finally, we got to the third store, and the store manager happened to be there, or the district manager. I'm not sure what her title was. She was able to push through an exchange for a new controller for us. It's very frustrating. Heads up to those who purchased the warranty or did purchase a warranty, they're going to try to get you to exchange it for a used one instead of a new one, on top of that the new Elite game controller they gave me is broken from the box there are loose screws inside. I'm afraid to go back

I mainly go in for trading cards and they always let me know what promotions are going on and what products they personally recommend. I will be sure to pre-order new sets from this location frequently as they excel at customer service.

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service!!! Went is try and sell a PS4 and games for my kids. I AM NOT A GAMER. I don’t know much about how it works on trade and sell. I asked Rob to please explain what he said again (he didn’t have any cash purchases yet so no cash is drawer) because I was confused about it and then asked another question (when would be a good time when you have cash) and he told me I was being condescending and needed to leave. So sorry I was confused. I wasn’t at all being condescending. Definition of condescending is feeling entitled and In power.. Definitely how he was acting. Very very condescending Rob is.

They dropped the ball today though when I brought my excited 9 year old son here (Tuesday early afternoon) to spend his bday money but the guy working & the manager on her laptop wouldn’t greet us, acknowledge us, make eye contact with us, or ring us up. After being ignored for 20-25 awkward minutes (6 of which we were standing at the counter with cash in hand & no line), we left & went to the GameStop at superstition springs mall where Mark happily greeted us & rang us up for all the same items that this GameStop couldn’t be bothered with selling us. This experience was so weird & unwelcoming. Im glad we left & went to a different location.

I mentioned Atari 2600 and he showed me the metal box version of the 50th anniversary edition for Switch, which I bought because it was cheap for a special edition game (even though it's more of a history archive with tons of photos and videos). Also, my daughter was looking for a specific old DS game and he sent us to a sole proprietor competitor who had a much broader selection of DS titles. Really great service.

Experiencia negativa: They advertise PS5 bundles, and day of drop 4/2 change them, and remove items and don’t replace them, but charge customers the same bundle price and call it a “whoops, someone from the company emailed every single store the ‘wrong’ bundle information”. I would have never wasted my time. The bundles were more than if you bought everything included in them at the highest price out there, excluding the console. Then factor the console and you just paid 70-150 dollars more than GameStop’s retail price for everything, but since GameStop is shafting customers not selling consoles only, forcing customers to pay more than max for games, controllers, charging stations, outrageous small electronic currency to pay back to them for more stuff, and ripping the customers off. GameStop should have never been saved by retail investors and should have been left to go bankrupt.

Also, it's not even possible to physically take delivery of the newest gaming consoles, no matter how much money you have. It's because of the supply line issues.

I had a couple simple questions and she answered as though I had interrupted her game of smash brothers. the attitude came through in her tone of voice, she was sounding like I was bothering her by asking her to actually do her job and work. Afterwards I asked for a manager and she informed me that she is the manager. Well, that was NO WAY to treat a customer!

Experiencia fantástica: Stopped into Gamestop to pick up a Christmas gift for my Grandson. Unfortunately Game Stop didn't have any left. Ryan looked on their website to see if he could get one for me. No luck. But instead of stopping their , Ryan told me about a little independent shop that might have what I was looking for. It was just a few miles away. He gave me very good directions. The shop had the item. If it hadn't been for Ryan going the extra mile to help me I would've never found the game. Ryan gave me great customer service, and I really appreciated it!

Go pick up my order and they have sold one of the pops already. They have had to search at other stores to replace it. Will be going to another location from now on.

Experiencia fantástica: In order to explain how good the service is here, I need to tell a story. My daughter's birthday was in March. She carefully planned ahead and selected a movie she wanted to go see with me, but they closed the theaters down on her big day. All she's had in the meantime has been video games. She's diligently done her chores and earned and saved, and she was dead set on buying a currency card with her money today. She EARNED this. We went to Best Buy, but their doors are closed -- no card there. Though she was sad, we tried Game Stop, and all seemed well until we realized paper currency is no longer accepted here. To an 8 year old, every door seemed to be slammed in her face. I began to walk her out of the building but had to stop to comfort her as she broke down in sadness. But Ryan, behind the counter, was touched and found a way around the new policy in order to get that currency into this little gamer's hands. She tearfully thanked him, and I shook his hand. This has been the best human-to-human interaction I've had all year. In this age of impersonal digital purchases and face masks and locked doors, Ryan went so far above and beyond to be a hero to a young girl by merely being a human with empathy. Game Stop should be proud to have Ryan representing their brand.

Experiencia negativa: Good selection ranging from games, consoles, clothing, toys and collectibles. Prices are high though and most of the items can be bought from another retailer for a lower price. The Staff at this location in particular are not helpful at all and did not even acknowledge that I was in the store the entire time I was shopping.

Experiencia fantástica: This store has the best employees ever. They are super nice and helpful. Please ask them if you need any questions since they are pretty busy in picking up the phone. But whatever I need, they did help me out. Kelley is the one of the best staff that helps me out. They are the best. This is the most favorite store that I want to do. I do recommend to come in here if you want to get your games. They can be not much know about game but they are trying their best to help you.

We wasted 25 bucks on a gift card that we can't use for what we wanted to use it for and were told we could use it for that purpose. So thanks for taking 25 dollars of our money and not giving us a product that we could use. We really appreciate that. Nothing worse than having a disappointed 8 year old on your hands because you trusted a liar.

They even have open displays for customers to see the items like the Fallout Collectibles. Not a very common thing at all when it comes to their merchandise. Very awesome store!

As for people upset with gamestop customer service just try to keep in mind gamers are freaking weirdos and usually dont like workers hovering so they tend to lay back and let you search automatically.

I was ready and willing to shell out a decent sum of money on games and accessories for presents and nope....no one. All three employees looked at me and continued to chit chat with each other standing around. They completely ignored me and never said a word. So I left and bought EVERYTHING from the competition. Too bad because I was the ONLY customer in the entire store for the 20 minutes I was there. People weren't exactly banging down the door to be let in. They were not busy. They were just too busy for me. I would NOT recommend the location. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Experiencia positiva: Nice employees and this GameStop tends to always have the inventory for the items I'm looking for. Only complaint is they never seem to be fully staffed. There's been plenty of times I've been here and had to wait up to 30 minutes in line due to the fact that they only have 1 person working, and that singular employee is tied up with a trade-in deal. So if you're in a hurry, just keep in mind that this may not be the location to go to.
