I would be very weary buying from this location any kind of console, they will sell you a bad console and when I tried to resolve the issue despite it always overheating they just said too bad too sad pretty much.

I show up just to find out that 1 person bought out an entire stock . Old review: We bought $200 in games on September 20. I go today to the store and asked him to find my receipt, his answer was no I can't find it because we have 100 transactions a day. If a restaurant has over 300 a day and they can still find a receipt, why can him? If it's because he doesn't know is preferable to say it and get someone that is able to help.

Experiencia fantástica: Fischer helped me and my partner incredibly through the complicated return process. We had bought a Wii U off of the website and it was defective so we wanted to trade it in for a working one and Fischer helped immensely with that. Fischer also helped us test the console in the store so we were sure about its functionality. I'm autistic and I get stressed easily, Fischer made the process easy to understand and therefore minimized the stress.

Experiencia negativa: Went in to look for an external hard drive for my playstation 5. You guys might want to think about training your employees properly. I was told that external hard drives Do not work and are not compatible for PS5 but yet everything online from Sony. And everybody else States that they are train your employees or lose business. I'll take my business elsewhere from now on. Gamestop used to be a good place to go but now the people don't know anything about games and they don't care about Properly informing their customers. If I could leave no star rating I would. Update 4/3/25 Went to go look at some games store should've been open at 9 am it is currently 933 am and still locked up and closed no one inside nothing corporate really needs to fire everyone from the manager down and start freash at this location

Experiencia negativa: They need to train their people. Or else hire people who can read. Checked online that a game was in stock. Called confirmed they had said game in advance dude pulled the disc while i was on the phone. I was looking for "Naruto Ultimate Ninja storm 4: road to Boruto" for PS4 which includes all the DLC and is notably different that "Naruto ultimate Ninja Storm 4" which was the base version with no DLC. I Made sure to highlight the difference in version. Drove a half an hour and got sold the wrong game. Mistakes happen I get that but When I went back in and explained the mistake the dude had the audacity to tell me I was wrong. I even showed him a picture of a clearly labeled disc and he said it was PS5 despite the disc saying ps4 right on it? Ps4 discs have the blue marking on them where as ps5 has white so even if you cant read you should be able to tell the difference. I would strongly suggest reconsidering buying any used products from this location. Either their inventory is messed up or their staff is grossly incompetent and has absolutely no idea what their talking about. You are likely to get the wrong game entirely especially in this day and age when there are so many different variations of the same games some with much more content then others. I have inculded photos of both game variations below so you can understand exactly how incompetent/rude these people were.

Experiencia negativa: I'm consistently disgusted to see each and every Gamestop has modified their store to get Distributor pricing on TCG cards and then they charge 50% above MSRP... That is of course on the rare occasion that there is even a single box on their entire 30 foot wall dedicated to cards (As per distribution access guidelines). I think I'm done with them altogether. Ebay is bad enough but full blown nation wide retailers with distro access price gouging is vomit inducing. All the other big stores still charge MSRP so this is a clear cut case of greed. Gross

Experiencia negativa: I am absolutely disgusted. It is Saturday, November 9. I am standing outside of the GameStop on Colorado Boulevard and I’ve been here since 9 o’clock. Gentleman comes to the door at 10 o’clock tells me We are opening till 11 o’clock. There is no note on the door that says anything. When I told the gentleman that I’ve been standing here since nine. He says that sucks for you doesn’t matter to me !! I asked excuse me what did you say to me . He rudely said I don’t care that you have been here since nine you could have left .. I took the bus here to exchange my controller and how dare you speak to a customer that way . I need management to contact me immediately this is out right disgusting. Experiencia negativa: I hadn't been in a while because we don't live close to here anymore but we made the trip out because they have the retro designation. Somewhat disappointingly the "retro" games they have are a bunch of overpriced 3ds and PS3 games that you can find on eBay or Amazon for much cheaper. (Or if you don't want to deal with shipping and stuff level 7 games or something like that.) And while that's hardly the fault of anyone (besides GameStop corporate culture) what was worse was that (at least when we went) there seemed to be just one employee who was making small talk with another customer. Me and another group were waiting in line to be helped and the employee never bothered to ask us if we'd been helped and it wasn't until the group in front of me was about to give up and leave the store that the employee asked them what they needed. We weren't helped at all and eventually left. It seems like the people that used to work here that made this my go to game store have all moved on to either other stores or other jobs. I probably won't be bothering to come out here again seeing as I could get (at a minimum) the same service if not better at any other game stop near me without the long drive

Experiencia negativa: I placed an online order for same day in store pickup for a 500 gb PS4 and a dualsense edge wireless controller for my ps5. Confirmed the order and headed into the store. Upon arrival the clerk told me that they didn't have any dualsense edge wireless controllers and they only had the display ps4s. So I took the ps4 and went to best buy for my dualsense edge controller. When I tried to boot up the ps4, it just beeps 3 times and doesn't turn on. This is an indication that the hard drive is bad on this "cleaned, tested and guaranteed, certified pre owned ps4". Except if it was tested at all, they would have known it's a dud and they wouldn't have sold me the product. After I get home and discovered all this, I also noticed that they charged my PayPal and checking account BOTH for products they weren't even able to sell me. This is fraud. So now I'm almost 700 dollars into purchases that I wasn't even able to make at their establishment. I'll never go to another GameStop EVER AGAIN after this catastrophe.

Experiencia negativa: Went to trade in an old console. Wasted 20 minutes with it plugged in to a DP instead of HDMI. Manager stated we can’t take it If we can’t see that it works. I checked their monitor and saw it was plugged in the wrong spot and said can you try it in the correct spot. It indeed worked. Employee then said it needs an update and their wifi is slow so I’m better off taking it home and maybe coming back. For video game aficionados they sure seemed pretty incompetent. I’d rather throw my console in the trash than talk to these people again.

Went to pick up a new controller, grabbed one marked 29.99 and the employee who rang it up said “oops forgot to change the price tag” and then wouldn’t honor the price listed on the box. Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely fantastic customer service, staff and leadership. They were more than willing to accommodate my needs when I had health issues and no transportation. Just superb all around. Edit: There was an issue with the switch I purchased (nothing to so with the staff) and they were once again more than accommodating. They knew I had an ACL/MCL/meniscus tear and didn't want me to make the trip (as I have no transportation and had to bike), I did it anyways with my exoskeleton brace and they not only fixed the issue but compensated my efforts for getting there with a tee shirt of my favorite game (yes, they remembered when I told them). It sounds dumb, but for someone in my situation, in-between jobs and having major surgery less than a week away, it meant the world for me. Once again, excellent staff, excellent leadership, excellent service, but most importantly, excellent service/sympathy/accommodations for someone in my position. I wish I was exaggerating, but I'm not when I say it meant the world to me for them to understand my situation. Others have not. They did. Thank you Luke and all that helped, truly.

Then he’s swearing up a storm which is so unprofessional. Josh, you’re a horrible employee. Secondly, this store is ALWAYS so dead and this experience is just like every other experience I have here. It’s always dead quiet, with a few employees sitting on their phones not even trying to work let alone help anybody. I hate coming to this location

Experiencia negativa: I don’t usually write reviews, but when I picked up my pre order a few days ago from here it was supposed to come with a pre order bonus poster and the lady there was extremely rude and told me that, “We don’t have that”. When I got an email that said that I did. And she didn’t even bother to look. It was apparent that she didn’t want to be there. Also, I was told by another employee awhile ago that I could get my $25 dollars worth of points earned for a previous purchase when their system was down by just bringing in my receipt, and she told me that she didn’t know what I was talking about and pretty much just dismissed me.

Experiencia negativa: I was with my boys went to go pick up a controller and a headset I asked the lady to show me those items so I can purchase them and she would not show me the items that I requested but continue to tell me how high the prices were like I couldn't afford them. The world we live in

Experiencia negativa: They had a mouse pad with a $10 price tag and it registered as $19.99. I told the manager that is false advertising. She wouldn’t budge. Just be careful of their prices and the fact that they could care less that false advertising is illegal.

Experiencia negativa: I’m assuming she is the store manager. Very tall with curly hair. Was very rude to me. I guess she got mad I would take a replacement case on a game.

Experiencia negativa: The manager said she had a pre owned xbox series x and told me to that she'll find out about the price because she's not by a computer. I waited and all I hear is her talking to other employees and just hangs up on me. This is what you call customer service? And I call again and now they are saying they don't have any. She couldn't have just told me that in the beginning?

Experiencia negativa: I ordered a game online for in store pickup. This was 2 days ago. I called to check on the order status and the person I talked to said they had multiple copies in stock but I had to wait for the email that it is ready to pick up (still waiting). My bank account was charged immediately after I placed the order. The person I spoke with said I should cancel my order and just go to the store and buy it. What's the point of the online order? Especially after they took my money already

Experiencia positiva: This store can be, a hit or miss. But have found and bought. A few games I liked. And other accessories. Staff is always helpful and nice.

Experiencia positiva: Big location, with a great selection. Unfortunately the woman working (larger woman with curly hair and glasses), was incredibly rude. We waited for over five minutes at the counter for her. She saw us and continued to stock the shelves. Never asked for our rewards account, and was the least friendly person I encountered yesterday. I’d return just for the vast selection, but if I could avoid her terrible customer service, that would be great.

Experiencia negativa: Preordered Scarlet/Violet a few months back and was told there was no prerelease. I recieved no call about a prerelease, and my promo item was given away during the hidden prerelease. My item should’ve been held for 48 hours, and I should have been notified about the prerelease. I’ve been a biweekly buyer for months, but won’t be returning after the treatment I noticed.

Experiencia negativa: Very disappointing visit my wive bought a new game for me that I did not like when I went to return it the offered me trade in as pre owned when the game was new only opened to play once no store credit or money back for it after the employee could not find the apparently return code that can only be used 48 hours after the game was bought? So I ended up exchanging for a sealed copy but still got stuck with the game I did not like.

Experiencia positiva: Bought an Xbox Series X... didn't work correctly.. I couldn't tell what was wrong.. however after bringing it back in .. the staff were more then sympathetic and obviously asked if I'd like another one or any other console.. however after my refusal they didn't try n push it off or force me to feel pressured onto walking out with another.. they refunded the purchase and told me any info I may need to know concerning my refund.. with that attitude n service I'll be definitely headed back make any additional purchases... great atmosphere and staff. Truly hard to come by... knowledgeable and friendly and invested in the customers.. If ur looking for a Gaming store... here is where ull find a home .
