Experiencia negativa: !!!!!!LOOK AT THE REVIEWS!!!!!!!!! I MADE THE MISTAKE OF NOT LOOKING AT THEM BEFORE I CAME HERE TO FIX MY CONSOLES. THE REPAIR LADY HANNA OR ANNA DIDNT FULLY IMPROVE MY CONSOLE ( I MAY EVEN SAY THAT SOME FEATURES ARE WORSE THAN BEFORE THE REPAIR) AND SHE HAS BEEN KNOWN TO BREAK CONSOLES. I had a repair man from 806 games look at the consoles after Anna or Hannah repaired them and said a lot of the repair services were faulty. I listed what happened down below. I came to get my batteries on my psvita and my ds repaired and the screens replaced. I also paid extra for a reshell of both consoles, and touch up on anything needed to be touched up. It was 500 Dollars For Both. I expected a full service, not a console in worse shape than it originally was. They estimated 5 DAYS for the full repair it took 3 WEEKS, No Updates on Repair progress. I HAD TO CALL WEEKLY TO GET NO INFORMATION FROM THE PHONE CALL, ONLY ABOUT THE PARTS BEING ORDERD AND NO UPDATES OF HOW LONG IT COULD TAKE TO GET THERE AND WHEN THEY COULD START. ( I wouldn't be upset if they could just let me know what was going on but I recieved no emails or texts or phone calls and it upsets me that I had to force information out of the store) Last Sunday comes along and I call them about the progress of my repairs. They tell me they are waiting for parts again (same thing i heard for the last 3 weeks. Monday, about 40 minutes before they closed, they call me to come pick my consoles up. I came to pick it up and they never contacted me prior that the new shells did not fit and had issues. HAD I KNOWN THIS I WOULD NOT HAVE CHANGED THE SHELLS. The ds shell wobbles and doesnt screw together properly. It also bulges and Anna or Hannah the repair lady told me that's just how the shell came, and refused to repair it further. she never replaced the screens or battery on the ds. With the ds the buttons now drift and I had to come back the next day for her to repair the L and R buttons because they were not functional. She gave the excuse that it was a new shell and the buttons were stiff. THEY DID NOT WORK AT ALL. SHE EXPLAINED THAT SHE DREMMELED THE PLASTIC ON THE DS SHELLS TO MAKE IT FIT. The Playstation vita new screen has a burn in led (the dot is The burnt in spot. SHE EVEN TOLD ME SHE DIDNT TEST THE SCREEN FIRST BEFORE PUTTING IT IN AND AFTERWORDS, NOTICED BUT REFUSED TO REPLACE IT) I REQUESTED HER TO FIX THIS AND SHE SAID ALL SHE CAN DO IS TAKE A HAMMER TO MY VITA. The vita wobbles there are gaps on the shell and it now freezes. There isnt even a dust cap on my thumbs ticks anymore. I got a refund for the battery on the ds, BUT NOW MY CONSOLES ARE WORSE THAN WHAT THEY USED TO BE. USE A DIFFERENT REPAIRMAN THAT DOESNT RUSH YOUR WORK AND MAKE IT WORSE. TO MAKE IT WORSE. I CAME IN TODAY TO SHOW HER THAT MY VITA FREEZED NOW EVERY TIME I TURNED IT ON, AND SHE TOOK THE CONSOLE FROM ME AND FACTORY RESETTED IT WITHOUT MY CONSENT. She erased all my mods and games Even without the modded sd cards and data chip it still freezes, and SHE BLAMED ME FOR HAVING THE CONSOLE FREEZE NOW AND I HAD NO ISSUES WITH IT FOR 4 YEARS. Would give 0 stars on the repairing side of the store if I could. Anna or Hannah was not only rude, she threatened to break my consoles for a service that I PAID 500 DOLLARS FOR. IF NOTHING IS DONE WITH HOW SHE TREATS HER CUSTOMERS AND HER REPAIRS I AM TAKING THIS COMPLAINT TO BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.

Experiencia negativa: Getting games go here. Getting retro consoles don't. I got a PS2 w/ a broken disc lid. Have to keep weight on it while playing or disc stops spinning. Got a PS3 with a broken disc drive ( wouldn't accept discs. Had to take it home and tear it apart to fix it. On top of that found that the power button is broken ( won't stay off) had to buy a new board. Controller is busted as well. Super disappointing I live 2 hours away so its hard to just drive back up there and get money back or replace the console. Staff is awesome too, I just can't recommend a place that sells broken consoles

Experiencia fantástica: Never had a bad experience with the employees here. I went in about 2 years ago and bought my son a switch and it's still working today. I took in two Xboxes for them to repair the first one was done by the next day pretty cheap. The other one it's a few days because it has order parts for it and what not and surprisingly it was not that bad of a price. Definitely recommend them for video games also, fixing them. Decently priced items available as well.

Experiencia negativa: Daughter took her Xbox console in to have the thermal paste replaced. And they didn’t even replace the paste nor did they communicate with her on them taking it upon themselves to test it, repeatedly. A week later she calls because there is no communication and was told that her hard drive disintegrating. And that they would wait on a second techs ‘ opinion. Again, a week later daughter receives an invoice for a bench test. No call from the company. She goes in and was told after the multiple tests ran it’s now bricked. And then asked if she would donate the console for parts. Who does this? No explanation, no communication and no accountability as promised on their contract.

The console was brought in for “high-end games shutting off to the home screen,” and a quote of $150 was provided for a deep internal cleaning and thermal paste replacement. That service was completed.

After cleaning and replacing the thermal paste, the console continued exiting games and returning to the home screen, which indicated the issue was not caused by overheating. Further testing revealed the SSD hard drive was producing errors and showing signs of failure. Unfortunately, Xbox Series X consoles use SSDs that contain a hidden private key partition that is tied to the motherboard, which makes replacement impossible without cloning that key partition to a new drive.
Additional testing and a second technician confirmed that the damaged sectors affected the required private key partition.
While the console was in need of a cleaning, the original issue was caused by a failing SSD hard drive which was not able to be repaired or replaced. We acknowledge that communication should have been handled more promptly, and we truly regret the lack of follow-up on our part. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve how we handle communicating with our repair customers going forward.

The board had severe corrosion. We performed troubleshooting, deep internal cleaning, and diagnostic testing on all the affected components — which is not a quick process. Unfortunately, it was determinted that the cost to replace all the damaged parts or the entire board would exceed the cost of replacing the controller.
A Bench Fee of $35 + Tax was billed to cover our time, labor, and services provided, at a discounted rate.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely going back. We purchased a PS2 and a Nintendo 3DS XL from these guys and they were amazing. We also got an evaluation on our switch that I couldn't accept but Alli was so gracious about it and she really took the time to help us find games for our new old systems and helped us make sure we had everything we needed for image converters and the like. Their Retro collection is top top tier and definitely worth checking out if you're a true retro fan!!

Experiencia negativa: Called and asked if they would trade in my meta quest. The lady told me I could bring it up there and I told her I lived an hour away. I drove the hour to get there, just for her to tell me they changed their mind about wanting it. The lady was nice, but the owner wasted my gas and two hours of my life. Didn’t think to call me back and let me know before I got there.

Experiencia fantástica: This store is a great place for vintage & pre-owned games, comics, figures and more. I've been in several times over the year so here's my take. The employees, like Cody for instance, are all knowledgeable, hardworking and very quick to help. If they don't know the answer to your issue, they are quick to research something to make sure you have a resolve. The selection is pretty vast for a small location. Biggest selections being vintage games, seconded by figures like POP's. Everything is inspected and tested before trade in. Some things they even repair in-house so they can guarantee your product works. The prices are very no-fuss. They use a pricing guide, the same that many similar shops use, to offer a fair price whether you are selling or buying. All in all, I've been really impressed with Found Gaming over the year. Highly recommend

Experiencia fantástica: I took my ps5 slim to get repaired and they repaired it the same day I was amazed with how fast their service was and how they took their time to make the improvements my console needed would strongly recommend going here if your console needs fixing.
Experiencia negativa: Went in for a cleaning, data update, and thermal paste replacement. Paid over 100$ for everything. then when I took apart my console myself, it wasn't even cleaned!! I had to clean it!! Worst service!! I also feel like they switched my console with one that doesn't perform properly and they just took mine. It's very easy, all they would have had to do was switch the covers from both consoles. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CONSOLES TO THEM!! They don't deserve business when it comes to gaming consoles!! Although I got my refund, it wasn't cool of them to do what they did!! I probably cleaned something that isn't truly mine!! Karma is a B!+6#!!! It will go back to them!!!

It had a lot of high value cards but after almost a month of not hearing back they finally called me and offered $8 for literally one card ($40 card btw). The owner is a very mean woman. Don’t go here - if you want retro games try hub city games on 34th and if you want cards try Mad Hatters or SK Games

Experiencia fantástica: The staff is so nice, and helped me pick out Disney Infinity characters and pokemon cards, and then my dad spent over an hour looking at their collection of cards like DC, Marvel. And Xmen. The card prices are very cheap and negotiable, and the place and general has a very unique stock of old timey stuff, but also modern stuff, and overall really good prices for 2024. Hands down beats Gamestop. Don't even get me started on how great the prices are.

Experiencia negativa: Went in there to get two Xbox controllers fixed from thumbsticks. They said it just needed a cleaning and it'll work, that they made sure the parts were working, too. Nope. As soon as I used one, the aim drift was the same. I could've "cleaned" it myself at no cost, but $70? Trash place! Straight dog doodoo.

Both controllers were disassembled, cleaned, adjusted, and we confirmed with testing software that the stick drift was fixed. We do warranty all our repair work for 30 days. Please bring your controllers and console in and we'd be happy to help troubleshoot the issue for free.
Experiencia fantástica: I recently had a DualShock 5 controller that needed a battery replacement, and me, being an IT professional, always find it best to let people who know exactly what they're doing perform the work. However, there ended up being an issue with the repair charges. I was informed by one of their employees that I would be contacted with a price before the repairs were completed. I was not contacted, and I was also not shown a form that listed the repair prices before I authorized the repairs, assuming that I would be able to either accept or deny the job before repairs were initiated. This, unfortunately, did not happen. After returning to the store, they did everything a place that cares for their customers should do and made it right for me. So, for anyone worried about going to a place that treats you as nothing but a number, do not hesitate to go here because they truly care about you. Their customer service is EXCELLENT, and they will do what it takes to make sure you are treated right. Beyond the pricing issue, the work done on my controller was HIGHLY professional and the turn around time was FANTASTIC. Even beyond that, their collection of used games is WELL above par and they have some VERY rare games that you won't find anywhere else in town, I can promise you that. Also, the prices on those games are what you would expect from a place that isn't trying to rip you off and cares about gamers and their needs. I would do business again with this place anytime, and you should, too, and if I could give this place 6 stars, I totally would.

Experiencia fantástica: Recently bought a Gameboy Advance SP and Pokemon yellow from them. The Pokemon cartridge developed a fault after purchase. NOT SOMETHING THAT WAS THEIR FAULT, just age related. I contacted the owner and they repaired it for free and within an hour of me dropping it off. Very satisfied and will keep coming back.

Experiencia negativa: So I order a couple of games the other day and I waiting for a shipment to happen and nothing so the same day at 8:30pm i got a notice at my doorbell and it was one of there personal employee that came to my own house not ups and not usps so I pay for shipping for no reason and basically steel my money yall are a bunch of bums and thiefs .

Experiencia positiva: Very cool place, very nice people. They are stocked to the brim with retro games, but they also have some other cool things scattered about the store. Its clean and easy to find what you're looking for.

Experiencia positiva: Update: after talking with the owner we decided to bring our Xbox back in for repair. We found out that there had been some miscommunication between employees and she was quick to act and repair the situation. We really appreciate all you did to make this right! We took our Xbox one and controller in to get cleaned and repaired, at the time we took it in they told us 2-3 days and it would be ready. 5 days later we still hadn’t heard anything so I called they said they had cleaned the Xbox but it needed a new fan and for the part and labor it would be $65 plus tax. We declined them putting the fan in and then asked about the controller which they informed us they had not got around to fixing. 5 more days and still no update so I called back a second time and they told me it was done but no one had ever contacted me. Today I went in to pick it up, it’s been there for 2 weeks and our Xbox is in literal pieces. Because they never put it back together and on top of that didn’t even offer to put it back together when I came in for it! How can a store have a system for 2 weeks and return it in pieces! It’s so unprofessional and it’s safe to say we won’t be going back ever.
We would like to offer our sincerest apology for this experience. We have had multiple members of staff out of the office over the past several weeks. However, that is not an excuse. The lack of service you received and multiple miscommunications on our part are not acceptable and we have addressed this with our staff.

Experiencia fantástica: I go to found gaming to get vintage Pokémon cards weekly after my paychecks. Pokémon collection has been steady growing thanks to found gaming for being one of the only places to buy sell and trade Pokémon cards in Lubbock. And I always find a gem or two.

Experiencia fantástica: Very friendly and helpful staff. This shop has a very welcoming environment. I didn’t feel like I was being pressured into buying anything or being pushed out the door because I was taking my time. Not the best selection for modern games but I would choose this store over others any day. They were also able to fix my joy-con for my switch for a lot less than it would have cost to replace it. After I picked it up they called me the next day to make sure I was satisfied and that it was still work. This was an awesome experience all around.

Experiencia negativa: Showed up after looking at times on the website. I walk in and I am told that they aren’t currently open. No warning or notice at all so I just wasted gas making a trip here for nothing. Will not be back.
Sorry to hear about your experience. We are open Tues-Sat 10am-10pm, Sun noon-5pm, and closed on Mondays. We have not changed our hours since we opened in July, other than 1 snow day and holidays. What time and day of the week did you come by? May we ask where you viewed our times so we can make sure they are corrected?

Experiencia fantástica: Found gaming has quickly become my favorite retro game/vintage toy store! They have managed to truly capture nostalgia and fill their store with it. Prices are completely reasonable and the staff is always friendly and make us feel right at home, LITERALLY my family and I spend hours there. They repaired a NES for me that was damaged and I couldnt be happier with the result! They also helped my wife and I find a game that she has been searching for for years now!
