Experiencia negativa: DO NOT PURCHASE CONTROLLER HERE I've recently got a new controller at this location, got the limited remix green ps5 controller and mind them I've traveled 3 hours to get a good looking controller since local gamestop dont have much. Ive received a new controller with a stick drift after immediately opening the box. This is uncalled for and of course i didn't get the protection plan because I thought I'd be paying $90 for a good working controller. They where pushing the warranty stuff before purchasing so now I'm skeptical after this experience.

Experiencia negativa: Recently, I returned a game controller my son bought. Unfortunately, my son open the box so the lady at game stop said I wouldn't be able to get a refund but she could give me store credit. The lady at the store failed to tell me I wouldn't get a full refund on the trade, so I ended up losing more than $50.00. I asked to speak to a manager and she stated the manager wouldn't be there in two days. If I would have known I was not going to receive the full amount I would have never returned the controller and kept it.

Experiencia negativa: Store is fine itself, but two times i went i was trying to get a refurbished headset for a warranty i had on it and i was given the wrong type. I have the Rig 800 Pro HX's made for the Xbox and PC and not once, but TWICE did they screw up and gave me the model for the Playstation. Not only that they took like 20 minutes to finish everything when all i was doing was coming in for a replacement mic. What an embarrassment.

Experiencia negativa: Poor customer service asked to speak to manager because I keep getting charged for a pro-account that I canceled and the associate told me that my issues was not of her concern and that if I had an issue to call the 1800 number. I understand she “can’t do anything about it” which is why I asked for a manager. When I told her customer issues were her job the attitude changed and told me that an assistant manager would be there in the morning.

Experiencia negativa: I want to trade in my other old Nintendo switch to added credit to my new Nintendo second that I purchased and it took three hours to do that the guy with the long hair that had a beanie hat on had a big attitude was very rude very impatient and they were telling me all kinds of lies that I don’t get my game out tonight that they’re just gonna sell it to somebody else that I’m gonna lose all my money I put on my game I paid for the pro membership like a month ago and they said that I didn’t have my membership on there well I told him this is where I came to pay it. You guys charge me for it so I wasn’t able to get my stuff with my pro membership. It was just a horrible experience. I will never go to GameStop yet.

Experiencia negativa: This location has just got worse and worse every time we go to the mall. I used to always buy a game when we’d go and haven’t done so for the past couple months. This is mostly due to lack of selection including no stock of new releases. The store is just piles and piles of overwhelming amounts of junk merchandise. There is so much stuff in there that people can barely move around making it an uncomfortable experience. The latest is they removed the Xbox games entirely and filled it with you guessed it more junk merchandise. The switch games and ps5/4 games are all mostly vertical so unless you know specifically what you want you’re gonna spend a lot of time reading every label. Never receive any greeting much less help. What is going on GameStop? I also cancelled my pro membership because there really no benefit other than saving $1 here and there on already discounted games. The points now also expire. I had nearly 500,000 points and was told that if I didn’t use them I’d lose them. Do you realize how long it took me to acquire that many points as well as how much money had to be spent? Everything is just going down hill for GameStop. Last, if you ever buy a game stop asking for the 1400th no I don’t want game insurance, no I don’t want a GameStop credit card, no I don’t want to renew my pro membership, yes I am sure, no I don’t want a preorder. I am sure the staff is instructed or measured but my goodness just stop.

Experiencia positiva: It’s a really good GameStop in my opinion. Pretty big, but gets really crowded and there’s hardly anyone room to move in there from all the people (from the times I’ve been in there). But it has a bunch of good games, Funko pops, and action figures.

I called them 3 times, morning , afternoon, and before close and they either ignored my call or said that they didn't have cash. As a Business, you should be able to have the proper amount of money in your drawer for the services you offer. I have tried to use this location multiple times and they usually have the same answer. Go to any other store than this one. They cannot help you properly

Experiencia negativa: I was just in there and found a game that said 29.99 on it took it to the counter and it rang up 60 bucks. I asked why so much when the sticker says 30. I'm told price ha gone up and they haven't changed the sticker yet and I have to buy it at 60 not the price on the game, which is 30. Stay away from this store. I do not recommend this store to anyone

Experiencia negativa: We are really disappointed in GameStop. We purchased Red Dead Redemption for switch and the game didn’t work immediately. We attempted to return the game as defective and were offered half of what we paid in store credit. The guy working there tried to get us to buy insurance for our game and even said broken cartridges happen frequently. I think it’s pretty wild to not refund our money on a fake that didn’t work to begin with. We tried to return the game within a week. I really don’t think it makes sense to have to buy coverage for something that should function. So incredibly wack. We won’t come to GameStop going forward. Even Amazon has a 30 day return policy for game cartridges. I’d rather support a business like GameStop but I’m not going to donate money to them if they won’t stand behind the products they sell.

Experiencia negativa: Went there to try to return a new Nintendo switch system and teddy told me there all was a seal on the system but I told her there was never seal on the system when GameStop gave it to me and teddy is a rude person and every unsatisfied service and told me she’s the manager but didn’t see manager tag and not the first time she’s been rude she needs to learn customer service and used to be ever good customer service here but no more and at this location really dumb when u have a used game in your had and go to pay but they get a online order and they have to do that over the person in the store and Brandon is not a every nice person he needs better customer service and doesn’t really talk to people and not every friendly

Experiencia negativa: I came in to buy a Xbox one and I was treated by horrible staff. I understand they're age means that they lack experience, but they talked to me like this was my first time ever buying anything. They argued over what I could have or what would work when I corrected them they just stared dumbfounded. Of course the system has powering issues, I've never had an issue where I would want to bring the system back in. I have the warranty and receipt, but I hate the fact that I came to this specific GameStop only because it's close to where I live.

Experiencia fantástica: These guys are amazing. Our son got a system for Christmas, turns out it was basically a junk system. I called the store and was taken care of the manager called the Cottonwood store and turned out they had just received a trade in...we went right there and Amanda was amazing. She even included an apology from Santa to our son. I'm a customer for life. Well done Coronado and Cottonwood.
