Experiencia negativa: I just came back from GameStop after stopping in to check out their Pokémon card selection. I ended up grabbing a few packs, and the employee immediately started pushing their membership on me. I told him no. He kept pushing it anyway, so I asked how much the discount actually was. It was barely anything. After I said no again, he kept insisting that I should just get it because I’d probably buy more in the future. I told him no a third time, and instead of dropping it, he acted shocked—like I was turning down the deal of a lifetime. From that point on, his attitude completely changed and the service went downhill fast. If you’re going to work retail, at least have the basic professionalism to respect when a customer says no. A membership pitch shouldn’t turn into an argument. But honestly, what should I expect it’s GameStop.

Experiencia negativa: I wish I could leave 0 stars. I called a few hours before going in because I had to take time off work to go. Confirmed with one of the reps(wish I got his name) asked twice and confirmed that I could bring in 2 switch 2 joy cons and some games. Said no problem. Couldn’t give an estimate but said come in and we’ll test them make sure they work and can give you cash. Showed up and they messed with them seemingly not caring about being helpful or anything. Then said after 20 mins we can’t figure out how to use them so maybe come back another day … REALLY? Then why waste my time and tell me to come in??? Terrible customer service. No wonder GameStop is closing stores left and right because they hire terrible employees that don’t give a damn about their job or customer service. Then they tell me they don’t do cash anymore even though online confirms they do so they would have to do store credit never coming here again just going to do digital like everyone else.

The kid sat behind desk the whole time on his phone, I guess....Finally I find a game that I think my grandchildren would like, but then this happens: I was asked for ID because you have to be over age 12. I am 60. I asked him really? I have to walk all the way to my car for my ID... Indeed I did! Even though without a lot of imagination It is evident with my gray hair and wrinkles I'm over age 12. Needless to say with my spinal cord injury made it to my car in the north40 to purchase a $14 game. He just lost at least 10 customers. I have 9 grandchildren. He did it to be rude. I'm totally surprised that he has a job. The Owner of this GameStop needs to know how he is treating disabled seniors.

Experiencia negativa: I have been going to Game Stop for awhile upgraded the membership to the pro membership and today I went in to return something I wasent happy with the box was a little bent up and apparently they had updated on returns if the box is opened they can’t take it back. The tape seal was ripped and bent in one corner. Then I got told that sence “ I just didn’t like them” there’s nothing he can do and he can’t return them sence the box was open , didn’t offer no other trade for something else within the same price range. This is why I go elsewhere for some gaming stuff.

I came here a couple of weeks ago with a item I had purchased and she offered me to get a new switch or get it fixed or return my SD card before the expired date on my reciept. Today I went back and she denied the refund and yelled at me, and slammed the office door behind her. As a manager you don't treat customers like that or lie about what you say. She was so RUDE!!

He always makes me and my family feel welcome, like he's been a family friend for decades. He always goes above and beyond when it comes to taking care of his customers and store. His knowledge and insight are unmatched. He does his absolute best to answer questions and concerns. I will buy in store as opposed to online because of him. The store itself is clean and organized. From games to collectibles and pokemon cards to figures and systems. Everything is neatly placed and displayed almost like a small museum.

There was only one person in front of us and there was an issue with the card readers, when me & my fiancé were addressed we were brushed off immediately to a different store & when we informed him we wanted a return he shook his head from side to side with a bit of hand gesture & stated he needed to fix his machine first. Well I understand he has an issue and no one was being impolite or rushing him but he could’ve had a way better attitude towards us.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT SPEND MONEY AT THIS LOCATION. recently I purchased an XBOX Elite series 2 controller priced at $180. After two months of mild usage of the controller I experience a manufacture defect. I spent an extra $50 on the alleged protection plan, which the manage of this location described would replace any manufacture defect free of charge. When I called and spoke to the same manager he told me I would have to purchase a second protection plan at $50 to replace the controller. After spending $230 for one controller to be protected and replaced with no hassle, I’m left with a defective controller and a sour taste in my mouth from spending my money at the wrong business. At all costs, AVOID THE NOID

Experiencia negativa: Was in there a few days ago and went to buy a new Nintendo switch game. Bring the game up to the counter pay for it and the employee opens the display case and put the game inside then puts tape on the game case. Last I checked new games come factory sealed aren’t opened and have the game already inside. Be careful this place tries to give you used games when you buy new. Then when you bring it back they try and tell you you opened and placed the tape on the case so you can’t return it. Complete scam

Experiencia negativa: My experience is on the night that StarWars The Fallen order released for preorders. I first called GameStop to make sure I could still pre order and he told me before 6. He then asked me for what system did I want it for. I told him PS4 and he assured me I could come in and preorder as they had many copies. When I got to the counter another gentleman who I had not spoken with asked what I needed and I told him. At this point he seemed to get agitated that I had not pre-ordered it long ago he was very condescending and rude and started to lecture me as If I was a little kid. I explained the reason I didn't was because I was working long hours and didn't have a chance to. He ignored me and continued to tell me off. So I took my receipt and left. When I came back to pick it up for early release I was dealing with another guy whom was really nice. Then the other guy came over and told him this is not a preorder and canceled my free StarWars ticket. I am very upset at my experience at this GameStop and feel he should not have spoken to me in this manner. Ive never had any kind of experience like this anywhere else. I had to stop myself from arguing with him as there were alot of excited people around because early release of Fallen Order and Pokemon. It was not about the movie ticket but his attitude as to why Im writing this. I felt he took it personally that I didn't preorder it a while back. I felt embarrassed yet proud of myself for not losing my cool in the store as I was furious. All other employees there were fantastic in helping me.
