Experiencia fantástica: Fun and unique concept with exchanging toys for prizes. Great fun!
Experiencia fantástica: Awesome store! Great people! Great vibes - must visit!
Experiencia positiva: Across from the Sloomoo Institute, Up One SoHo is a kid's dream. The bright lights on the arcade games drew my nine-year-old daughter in. Once inside, there are kiosks where you can buy a card for $2 and load it with points to play the game. Decide before going in how much you're willing to spend. It can easily be a money suck. For $20 worth of points, we had fun playing between 5-6 games. And we got two medium-sized stuffed animals, which my daughter loved.
Experiencia negativa: Sadly a extremely rigged location. Claws are too big for plushies, and or the claw will pick up and drop the plush. Notice how their claws are smooth and flat at the end which is what causes such to happen. Will not be retuning & money has been waisted.
Hi Isabella, we’re sorry to hear your visit didn’t meet expectations. At Up One, our machines are skill-based and regularly maintained, but claw strength and prize setup can vary by game and item type. Many guests improve their results with positioning and technique, and our team is always happy to offer tips during play.
We appreciate your feedback regarding the claw design and experience, and we’ll review the machines you mentioned with our staff. We never want anyone to feel disappointed after visiting us.
If you’d like to give us another try, please feel free to speak with our team during your next visit so we can assist and help make your experience a better one.

Experiencia fantástica: Great place to hang with the kids while grandma shops :)
Experiencia fantástica: Brought my kids there thinking it's a going to be another scam place. It turns out we were able to win prizes. The staff was very kind and polite, they helped adjust the plush's angle so there was a higher chance of winning. Kids were able to leave with a smile. So happy!
Experiencia fantástica: Very Kind and very friendly people
Experiencia fantástica: Friendly staff! Kids loved it here! Thank you :)

Experiencia negativa: I visited a claw machine arcade expecting an enjoyable experience and the opportunity to win a few prizes. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. I spent $20, which allowed me to play five games, but I did not win anything. On multiple attempts, I positioned the claw perfectly around prizes such as a cheeseburger plush and a Kirby plush. However, each time the claw lifted the item, it slightly opened during the ascent, causing the prize to fall. This issue occurred repeatedly across different machines and even with smaller items like keychains. Based on this consistent pattern, the machines appeared to be rigged or intentionally calibrated in a way that makes winning extremely unlikely. I do not recommend or you will loose money.
Hi Maggie,
Thanks for coming by and for sharing your experience!
Claw games take a bit of practice - you don’t always get it on the first few tries. It takes some time to get a feel for positioning and timing, especially with popular items like the Kirby and burger plush.
At Up One, we see it as a fun, interactive experience - you play, learn, adjust, and try again. That’s part of the fun. Our goal is to create a fun, engaging experience where players can learn, improve, and enjoy the process - not just the outcome.
We hope you’ll give it another try next time. We’re always happy to share some tips!
— Up One Team
Experiencia negativa: Ils vendent des faux booster pokémon a 18 dollars quelle honte
We take claims like this very seriously, and we want to be very clear: we do not sell fake Pokémon products. All of our Pokémon booster packs are purchased directly from licensed distributors and are 100% authentic.
Pricing can vary depending on the specific set, supply, and current market demand, which is common in the trading card industry. However, pricing has nothing to do with authenticity.
We offer Pokemon products at all price ranges as well.
If you believe you received a product that is not legitimate, we encourage you to bring it back to the store so we can inspect it together. We stand behind the products we sell and are always willing to address any genuine concerns directly.
Making public accusations about counterfeit products without contacting us first is disappointing, but we’re still happy to resolve the situation if you reach out.
Experiencia fantástica: A claw machine place you can actually get stuffed animal easily!!!!!
Experiencia fantástica: Amazing experience, not a lot of people which made it less overwhelming! The workers were vary kind and taking pictures were so much fun❤️

Experiencia fantástica: Stopped by with my wife for a fun valentine's activity after lunch. This place was great! Super clean and inviting environment. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and even did a little reset a couple times so my wife could win something she was having a hard time catching. Amazing staff overall! Claw strength was really good overall - felt incredibly fair and never took too many tries for the claws to really latch on. Always appreciate fair settings on these machines - had a couple "one more time" moments before giving up that ended up being winners. Will definitely be back again soon! Walked away with 8 plushies - not a bad haul!
Experiencia fantástica: really nice owner, games were winnable and fun! good rate for what you’re paying for too!!! great location! recommend this place for a cute date :)

Experiencia fantástica: Best claw arcade my kids have gone to. They are running a holiday special for more credits. My son won the same 2 Pokemon stuffies and they let him trade for another one. They also rearranged the cases around as needed. We were here 2 days in a row and the kids are asking to go back already! Great place and great customer service
Experiencia fantástica: Awesome claw arcade! The staff is super friendly and helpful. They want all kids to leave winners!
Experiencia negativa: We were genuinely excited about the games and prizes, but the claw machines were clearly rigged. We had multiple perfect grabs where the claw fully secured the prize, only to deliberately loosen and open as soon as it lifted. It was obvious this wasn’t operator error or bad luck. Even the attendant acknowledged the issue and kept giving us extra turns, which only reinforced how broken the setup was. Overall, it was a frustrating experience that felt intentionally deceptive rather than a fair game of chance.
Hi Stanley, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your visit felt frustrating — that’s never the experience we want for our guests.
Our claw machines are skill-based games and are regularly checked and adjusted to ensure they function properly and fairly. We understand, however, how disappointing it can feel when a grab appears successful but doesn’t result in a prize.
When our team noticed your frustration, they offered complimentary plays as a gesture of goodwill because we care about our guests enjoying their time with us — not because the machines were malfunctioning or intentionally deceptive.
We truly appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue improving. If you’d like to reach out to us directly, we’d be happy to learn more and see how we can make things right.
Thank you again for visiting, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for a better experience.
