Experiencia negativa: **I HAVE BEEN INFORMED TO CALL CORPORATE AFTER THE EXPERIANCE I HAD AT THIS LOCATION TODAY*** Posting this for the Pokemon card community that try to come to this store to buy cards during drop days. This has happened twice now.. My partner and I are trying to complete a master set between us and I come here when they drop pokemon cards for that reason alone. Alot of people know its hard being a collector in this market and after the price raise at gamestop, its going to be even harder but I came in today anyway becuase I wanted to get a couple etbs. My partner and I have a pro membership. On the door it said they had 19 etbs in stock and that pro members get 2 which is standard. I came and got in line at 3am becuase I wanted one of each of the etbs that were dropping today. When the store opened. The staff came out and told everyone since the line had gotten long that everyone, even pro members were only allowed to get one of each of what was on the list and then when I got to the counter and asked what was the point in getting a membership of I cant get what they post on the door and the employee just looked at me and uttered "doesnt seem like anyone's pleased by these drops" and rolled her yes. I paid for what I could get and went to another gamstop up the road that was shocked this even happened let alone the this wasn't the first time Ive had this experience at this store. Im not a scalpers. Ill rip packs in the store if I have to to proove Im not doing this to resell and that we ate really just trying to enjoy this as a hobby... getting your hands on cards is hard enough... and im all for kids getting them first and everyone that was in line ahead of me had kiddos or were couples that were collectors and we were all talking about all that before they opened. Watch out for this!! The gamestop is went to after told me to contact corporate if you see any of this kind of stuff happening becuase the staff is likely hoping people just leave frustrated so they can get access to product. The employee running the door was also talking about how he was upset that he didnt get first dibs on stock as an employee and just found that out as he was a new hire. REPORT THIS KIND OF STUFF PLEASE!!!

Experiencia positiva: the guy working was pretty cool it's hard to form a line because right when you walk in the counter is right there at a weird angle which makes it awkward when it gets busy the energy in there was weird because of the customers that were in there but the actual worker was cool

He walked in, cut me and my wife in line and then proceeded to make everyone else in the store uncomfortable like it was about race or something when the cashier suggested that we were first in line, he then treated the cashier like absolute garbage, him and his google reviews are a lot of what’s wrong with the world today, I love this store, it’s right next to my house, I should’ve said something to him when it happened but I saw he reviewed the store with his oh poor me story, after acting arrogant and throwing a fit.
Experiencia negativa: While waiting in line to purchase Madden, the clerk, Jacob, appeared to ignore me and instead attempted to assist the person behind me. He did not apologize or acknowledge the situation and instead tried to justify why he spoke to the other customer. This created a very uncomfortable experience for me as a customer. The clerk also threw my ID on the counter, odd especially when paying for a game. Please provide customer service training.

Your main job is customer service - if you hate it that much, leave. I went to a second location thinking it's just this store but, nope - store 2 had a zombie working there too. I'm trying to spend money at these out dated remnants. Makes me welcome the days a robot is doing your job.

Experiencia negativa: I got a Switch OLED for my friends and me to play, got an insane amount of games to play. To my surprise after opening the box, the Switch was completely broken. I took it back and the guy at the counter said there waz nothing they could do about it.

I would recommend just selling your stuff online

We got there 20 minutes after we called and then they told us they were holding the last one for another customer!!!!?? We told them that they told us they can't hold the Series X for anybody, its whoever comes in their store gets it first... Nope! They told us sorry but there is a customer that is on their way to come buy it and that was it!!! All they gave us was a Sorry.... last time I buy anything from them! And not renewing our membership!

Experiencia fantástica: When the GameStop near my house closed down, I had to start coming to this GameStop instead as my nearest option. It was quite a bummer as I was friendly and well-known by staff at my local store, but the staff here were just as friendly and welcoming, and quickly knew who I was whenever I came to visit. They are very helpful and willing to recommend games or goods that fit with your personal taste if you're not sure what to get.

Experiencia negativa: Worst experience ever with an unknowledgeable sales team. My fiancé went in to get some games for herself. She's not a gamer, so she wasn't sure if previous-generation consoles would work on her Xbox Series X. She wanted GTA V but for the Xbox Series X so she could have the full fps and so on. They ended up just selling her the Xbox One version.... Just to get a sale or Perhaps, as I stated at the at first, they lack knowledge. However, no one should work in the sales industry with products they are unfamiliar with. She went in today to explain her situation and why they were wrong, but she didn't want to help. We intend to file a Better Business Bureau claim. If anyone in management would like to reach out feel free to do so.

Experiencia negativa: Worst GameStop ever, came in to try to return an item that I purchased online. The employee that was at the register who was a tall skinny male said I was not able to return the item when the email I have clearly states that I am able to return the item at any GameStop. Told him that it clearly states it in the email and he still denies the return. Asked him why we weren’t able to do a return and he just said he just can’t. Did not give an explanation as to why he couldn’t do it. Asked him if any other GameStop can do it and he said he did not know. While this whole conversation was happening he did not make any eye contact and was too focused looking over at the wall of headphones the ENTIRE TIME. He clearly did not care for anything that I was saying and did not give an explanation. I left and went to the GameStop on Pecos and Windmill and an employee named Michael was very helpful and was able to do the return for me. If you want good customer service go to pecos and windmill, instead of this location would not recommend.

We were still going to buy the game, but Bruce Wilson was extremely rude and told the employee who was NICELY helping us that “she didn’t have to explain anything to us” then told us to leave the store and “escorted us” out. All over asking a simple question about the game. He was extremely rude, and he wasn’t even the one helping us.

Experiencia negativa: They Know Games and have some Expertise. The Service was not up to par. I bought a New Switch and was heavily pressured to buy the warranty. Right before I paid, I saw the charge. I told the employee I didn't want the warranty. She claimed the the system has failed so much "there is a class action lawsuit against Nintendo!" I felt like saying if the product is so bad, you shouldn't sell it!! She told me "if it breaks after 30 days I will have to wait 6 months for Nintendo to fix it." Only after I repeated that I didn't want the warranty a 3rd time, did she remove the charge. Check YOUR RECEIPT to see that they didn't charge you for the warranty!

Experiencia negativa: During a recent phone call to this store in regards to the availability of a new XBox Series X, I was lectured on my “life choices” and told it was not important to get the new system as all the current video game titles were for the Xbox One (and PS4, they felt the need to include the PS5 situation as well, even though I hadn’t asked) so there was no point in getting the new system. He continued to lecture me until I had to interrupt his tirade to re-ask my only question: Do you know if and when you will get any in stock? He replied that there aren’t any in stock in a 300 mile radius and that GameStop doesn’t inform them when they will get any in stock “to avoid this type of situation”. I get that it’s Black Friday time and all that, but any opinions and or lecturing and talking down to me about my own personal life are in no way a part of customer service. Especially when all I had done was call to ask a simple question that, obviously once I re-asked the question, had a simple answer.

Experiencia positiva: The assistant store leader talks on the phone weird. The staff was very helpful and provided all the information we requested. He even helped with an up sell so we could get a game for free basically. Small store but well stocked with items games and systems.
Experiencia positiva: The last few times I have been in here it seems the staff is super friendly, but the supervisor is the opposite and made me feel very unwelcome to the point I ended up not buying anything from this store and instead makeing my purchases elsewhere. Got one system from the GameStop at fashion show mall instead and another from bestbuy when I felt chased away by the supervisor. It's a shame since I work down the street from this store and I used to stop in this store all the time, but it isn't the end of the world since there are so many options out there to make my purchases. Only giving 3 stars for the awesome employees that they still have. They should make one of them the supervisor and replace the angry girl that makes customers feel unwelcome and takes over sales just to not be willing to answer questions.

Experiencia fantástica: The times have moved on from places like Gamestop. I can get from Amazon or Bestbuy cheaper and free shipping so the only time I venture to Gamestop is when a good deal hits. So, I ended up picking up Travis Strikes Back for $19.99 at gamestop only because the same deal on Amazon sold out. I picked up the game and had great service but I tend to avoid it because of the push for a membership and the "upgrade" to used. I'm going to miss gamestop when they go out of business just like I miss TRU
