Experiencia negativa: We were there to get video game codes among other things, like a new wireless switch controller. We were denied the codes however, the associate working said we could only get one per person. That part is totally fine, however, she said we could only have two, that the children with us, who play more than we do, didn't count as people and could not get the item. Very unpleasant and rude associate. She told us and our children that they did not count as people. Absolutely ridiculous. If I could leave less stars, I would. The associate was named Kaitlyn, associate 723469. The other male associate in the store did nothing. Absolutely unbelievable. Last I checked being young was not a disqualifier for being a person. They play games and absolutely love them, this lady seriously hurt their feelings. We went to another gamestop, the one in Tillman's corner, and the gentleman there treated our kids like the peoplebthey are and allowed them to get the game code they really wanted.
Experiencia negativa: I bought a Switch from here about year ago as a gift for someone. I personally don't play video games. Apparently these jokesters enrolled me into their GameStop pro subscription and I got a charge for renewal on my credit card. When I went inside to figure what was going on, the employee said she couldn't do anything about it and to call their customer support line. I called the customer support line and they said that I would need to talk to someone at the location about it. Also, on their phone menu, the automatic message said they cant help with refunds if you're disputing a pro membership charge, so i guess this happens alot. Anyways, I'm disputing this with my credit card company. I'll go to Walmart or something next time I get a gift.

Experiencia negativa: I hate to leave a bad review, but there’s something shady going on here. Was at the store at open for the Blooming Water pokemon drop, where there is a limit per person to buy. Being there at open, they should have been there. The manager claimed “he didn’t know what happened to the shipment and they mysteriously disappeared”. Is what he literally said. Likely backdoored the entire shipment. This was 10am on Feb 7th.

Experiencia fantástica: It has been a while since I've been in a GameStop, Bill was super helpful and made it really easy for me to pick out a few new games for my PS4. The store was very organized and neat. If I ever need to go to a GameStop again, it'll be this one.

Experiencia negativa: This store refuses trade ins as soon as they are 30 minutes before closing, per the employee working Saturday 04/26 at 8:36pm. This is not posted anywhere and is especially frustrating when their pro week ends at some point soon. I’ve never had issues at any other GameStop. If the store is incapable of doing trade ins, that take 10 minutes to complete, within 24 minutes then the store should be removed as an option for processing trade ins online. I myself will attempt to find this policy somewhere and will update this review later if I can find a posting for it.

Experiencia negativa: My son bought a pre-owned ps5 for making all As all year. We had purchased it in Oklahoma and he took it to Alabama for the summer. It turned off the day after he got there (3 weeks later) and since he was in a very rural area, he had to wait until his elderly grandfather took him to see his dad in Mobile to exchange it. The manager at the Airport location took the ps5 and slammed it on the counter and some dust came out and he said it was infested, all the while asking him what did he do to it (get it wet, drop it, struck by lightning... he actually said "Was it struck by lightning" my son said "idk, i was asleep." He said "UMMMMM do you atleast know if it was raining???" . My son had Asperbergers and is slightly on the spectrum and had no idea how to handle the situation, nor should he, he is only a kid. He was extremely rude to my son and his father. I spoke to the man on the phone and he was extremely condescending to me. We got my son a few days later and I took it back...they opened it up.... not infested and exchanged it immediately. There was a few specs of dust inside of it. I believe it was because my son was black because I got totally different treatment... im white. But thank you to the other gentleman that inspected it and did exchange it.

I went there to trade in an xbox one s for a series s and The old fat white man with the beard looked at my Xbox and denied it for no reason when it’s in perfect condition. Claimed he saw dust inside Then told me to leave. He didn’t even look at at it. He was so rude to me from the moment he saw me. Absolutely disgusting and unprofessional behavior, he scoffed at me and gave me dirty looks. What an old loser who’s 50+ working at GameStop. I’ll never be back considering this is my first and LAST time going to a game stop. I’ll just buy my console at target.

I have gone there a few times and have heard them talk to other customers. Their customer service skills in this store and in the Saraland store is fantastic. I visit Saraland more than any and have never had any issues. Your team in these stores are fantastic. Thank you for a job well done. :-)

And after like half an hour we came here to the store and they are closed posting a sign that said, "Temporarily Closed To Clean and Disinfect. Thank you. -Mgmt". BUT nobody is cleaning. No one is inside the stores even if the lights are on. Terrible.
