Experiencia negativa: showed up at 7:45pm Saturday to locked doors over an hour before they close. Young woman with dark hair absolutely refused to open up and sell an Xbox Controller. Im well dressed, I work in Sales and will never consider doing business here again especially if I ever see her again. She actually had the gall to laugh at me. Your hours say youre open. I guess retail is doing well enough to forfeit business and turn gamers away. Ridiculous experience, really unbelievably bad.

Experiencia negativa: I purchased a Game Call of Duty Black OPs 7. The game Terrible, and nothing like it's Described in commercials. I called this Gamestop, and told them that I purchased it on their recommendation, and wanted to return it. The Mgr. said to bring it in with the receipt. I drove 30 miles to return the game only to find out the best they could do is give me a $40.00 Credit on a Game I purchased for $75.00. They said they could not give me a full refund because the seal on the game had been opened. They could have told me this on the phone, and saved me a 30 mile Trip. I told them I would just keep the game. Next time if I want a Video game I will buy it from Amazon.

Experiencia negativa: This store is an Old Yeller situation. Probably best if they take it out back and put it down. After my first trip I forgave the unprofessional attitude so many others seem to have experienced, only to come back a second time and literally can't make a purchase because "our machines are down". It's places like this that are the reason companies are moving to an AI workforce, and it'll be hard to feel sad for the people working here when it comes for them because they're literally begging for it. Maybe we can get a Pokeworks in this spot once they close down
Experiencia negativa: 10/22/2025 I went today to get an xbox series system for my son and this clerk looks like he gets annoyed every time I ask a question and im the only one in the store and i try to get close to him to ask for something I see next to him an he yells at me “I don’t know can you Please back up off my counter?! In a very rude way so I went to Walmart to get it I’m not coming back to this store No wonder gamestops are closing down

Experiencia negativa: Waited in line before 3 PM for the Switch 2 pre-order. Kicked off right at 3 moving the line, great. It all went downhill from there: 10+ minutes to service each person, giving the same spiel about warranty and signing up for Pro. The system bugged out about 20 people in and they had to swap computers. Kept going back and forth from checkout to the back room to mark consoles to the related customer, all with ONE guy working. Make it to the register after TWO HOURS and, of course, now starting with me, only previous pre-orders who just need to finalize payment will be prioritized, then us who walked in. Again, I walked in TWO HOURS ago. The difference between me and the guy who came in 15 minutes ago? He put $5 down a month ago. Such privilege! This company needs to go down and this specific store is why.
Experiencia negativa: the 2 people working on 04/12 in the evening a man & a lady, super disrespectful & unprofessional! They basically kicked out a family as they were in the store for “too long” once they left both of the employees began to gossip about them stating that their kids were super annoying, that they all smelled bad etc this made me & others in the store extremely uncomfortable as they were being very loud about it. You are in a work setting so again that’s very unprofessional & as a human that does not speak very good about you, it’s not that hard to be kind to others you really never know what someone is struggling with. Sorry but idk what kind of people y'all are hiring but this situation was definitely not okay! & i most definitely addressed it with them.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff was super helpful and attentive. They have anti scalping policies (which is understandable) which thankfully allowed for me to get some pokémon cards for my kids! Every else has been sold out because they don’t have any sort of protections. Big thanks to Joe for being really personable and going the extra mile.

He was not busy there was no one else in the store he was not helpful. I will not be back to that GameStop because of the lack of customer service !

Experiencia negativa: Went into the store yesterday to get a gift card for my granddaughter. While I was waiting in line, the cashier was being extremely rude and condescending to a customer that was in front of me. They didn’t have a controller replacement available and told him he would have to go to Arlington to get one and there was nothing else they could do. The customer asked if they could call to make sure the item was in stock before heading over there. He called the store and said rudely “It’s Busy, so you can either wait or call them yourself”. The customer said he could wait until they could verify which sent the cashier into a rage in front of the entire store. He started arguing with the customer and then asked mockingly if he understood what he was saying! The other employee and all of the other customers were in disbelief at the cashiers behavior. The customer left since it was apparently the cashier wasn’t going to provide any help. Once it was my turn to purchase a gift card, the same guy told me they were having computer issues and that he couldn’t get the gift card for me. Interesting enough the person who he helped prior to me got $100 gift card without issue. I asked for his name and he rudely replied “Joe”. It looks like Joe has already received other comments about being passive-aggressive and confrontational with other customers. Not only is Joe unprofessional and immature, but he is also incompetent. I would suggest going ANYWHERE else but here unless you like dealing with ignorant employees that are too lazy to do their job! No wonder GameStop is going out of business.

Experiencia negativa: There are right ways to do things and there are wrong ways to do them as well. The CS rep Joe, did the wrong here. I went into pick up a title that recently released. They informed me this was the last copy. Okay no big deal. But what followed is where I had a problem. Joe decided to get snarky and say "Maybe if you preordered the game you would have secured a title. " First off, this wasn't my normal store I go to. It was close to my work on my way home. Secondly, if you expect people to preorder anything then maybe you shouldn't be condescending and passive aggressive about it. Would I recommend going to this location? I'd say no. Yes it's one bad experience but sometimes that's all it takes.

The man said those shirts were not included in the promotion because they were 2x. THAT IS FAT SHAMING! Why are the other shirts able to be 2 for 12 but not XXL (plus size) shirts!!!!!!! DO BETTER GAME STOP!!!!! Like I said, the worker was great, this is about GAME STOP in general

Experiencia positiva: I had an overall great experience. Good air conditioning and quality service. Also customers were adhering to spacing and Covid protocols. However consoles and other products were not in stock, likely due to the pandemic. Sadly that doesn't seem to change anytime soon.
