Experiencia negativa: I bought a Roblox and V bucks gift cards for my grandkids for Christmas from GameStop at the Mill Plain, Vancouver Wa store. Neither gift card works!!!! The store will not give me a refund!!! Called Roblox and no response. Warning: I was just Ripped Off for $50!!!

We've never been treated so rudely by the manager. I went to try to return something I didn't know was returnable. I don't think that's the right attitude. (We won't be returning to this store.)

Experiencia negativa: This store is a nightmare. Went yesterday for a trade in. Made sure to call before to double check that I could trade in my device even though I was missing cords. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone said it was no big deal and they would drop about $5 off my trade in price. When I went there after. Guy was rude and tried to tell me I couldn’t trade in my device without cords. After I told him about my call he then said he could but would have to charge me over $40 for cords. I ended up leaving cause he was not friendly whatsoever. I went to another GameStop to see if I could get someone who would actually help. The new GameStop I went to only charged me $10 for both cords. Clearly this guy doesn’t know how to do his job and needs proper training. Don’t waste your time with this store. Awful experience.
Experiencia fantástica: I went to this GameStop 2 days ago they helped me exchange a ps5 external hard drive for an internal. They were more than willing to help me even though i bought the hard drive at the game stop in 104th. I explained to them that the 104th GameStop recommended the external hard drive for my ps5 but I needed an internal in order to store and play ps5 games. The 104th GameStop would not listen or even exchange it due to it being open. This GameStop so far has been very understanding and even exchanged it due to it being an employee error. Just to show my appreciation I spent more money on a hard drive with more storage, renewed my GameStop subscription, bought a better HDMI cord and lastly even pre ordered wwe 2k24. This will definitely be the only GameStop I go to from now on.
Experiencia fantástica: You can always find the best deals at this Gamestop. I always do my Christmas and birthday shopping here. Found a really good Oculus cable on sale! I was planning on spending $50 on Amazon, so this was a nice surprise. I'm definitely going to start stopping by more often now with the Pro membership.

Experiencia negativa: I know these employees are just doing what supervision demands but they really need to stop with the pushy and deceptive practices of ringing people up for services they don't want or need. This is why you're going out of business GameStop. People want to just be able to go in to a store and get the media they want at a fair price, especially on used goods and not be hagled in to services or rung up for things they didn't ask for. You've still got a shot of carving out a niche for yourself as a chain of new and used games and hobby shops but if your going to push people to better online retailers and digital marketplaces then that's where they'll go.

Well it the person who answered the phone informed me they were open as was a closer location to my position in the city. Saved me so much time as i had already been to 3 locations in the general area
Experiencia fantástica: I preordered Tears of the Kingdom. They messed up on the order when I went to pick up the game during release night; I won't get into too much detail. I got home and realized what happened and I was furious; FURIOUS. The following day I returned to store to address the problem, very honestly. Alphonso is truly one of the most professional and kind retail leaders I have ever met. He let me express my thoughts and fixed the issue. Due to his way of handling the problem, I will strongly want to support this store, and this company going forward. I recommend purchasing physical copies of games through GameStop going forward.

Still docking a star for making me go through the hassle of multiple visits and conversations for them to do the right thing, but ultimately I respect them honoring the right thing. Took it back and they unfortunately didn't have the same game but the manager took it back, no questions asked and swapped for another game I wanted. It was very easy! Went back recently because Target had no Magic Cards. This gamestop carries booster packs, booster boxes, and commander decks! They had plenty of stock for a fair price consider how popular trading cards are right now. Definitely would buy from them again.

I truly like and appreciate a number of the staff, so please understand that this is not a rage against the staff. Experiencia positiva: Store is full of product but nothing is in stock. Everything is an empty box to fill up the walls so it doesn't look empty in there. Strange way of handling things. Walked through miscellaneous toys, collectibles, and clothing to get to the front desk where I asked about and bought a new PS4 game. Salesman grabbed one of those empty boxes, grabbed a loose disc from their drawer, put the disc in the case, said out loud "since this is new let me seal it up for you," put a clear circle sticker on the game's edge, and sold it to me as new. Apparently this is GameStop corporate policy. Overall extremely weird experience and not how I remembered GameStop back in the day. Unless they turn things back around, I won't be returning. Three stars because this is corporate's fault, not the employees.

Experiencia negativa: Google says they updated store hours a week ago with closing time at 8pm. I just got here at 7:10pm and the doors are closed and gate is down. No signs on the door to reflect closing. Drove all the way from downtown for a game. No one answered when called.
Experiencia negativa: I had been waiting weeks to get a copy of Overwatch so I could play it with a buddy of mine. Went to this location and they had a used one. I immediately bought it and took it home. Looked at the case and it was filthy, covered in dirt grime and hair. But I really wanted to play so I just thought I’d clean the case. Couple days later I pop the Overwatch disc in to install it and my Xbox doesn’t register it. Popped a different disc in for another game I needed to install and my Xbox immediately started installing it. Not only was the Overwatch copy they gave me covered in grime but it didn’t even work .

Tried to call to see if it said their hours and if it was my mistake, there was nothing about the hours and it said it was going to transfer me to an operator, the phone just rang. Very disappointed because I’m never in this area.
Experiencia negativa: Came to gamestop's after a very long day at work to pick up games I had ordered online. Even though everything says they are open a little paper sign taped to the door says they are closed real waist of my time all the way around, as you cant pick up from another location with out canceling the order and waited days for a return. Really weird that they have opted to keep their lights on in the store sending the wrong message to customers.
Experiencia negativa: Tons of game "boxes" went to try to find games for the switch, they had hundreds of boxes, but the associate told me after we spent 20 minutes picking through them that those were only "display boxes" she then proceeds to hand me a list of games they actually have on stock which amounted to about 40 titles that nobody had ever heard of. He always tries to help you find items for whatever your gaming needs are. I’ve never left the store unhappy and I’ve shopped there a lot.
