Fantastic experience: Brittany displayed a resilient amount of professionalism mixed with customer hospitality and it was very refreshing to have such an experience. This is my go to GameStop everytime now because of this. Also there is a slimmer gentlemen that wears glasses and he’s cool as hell too. Super fun experience with these two
Positive experience: The employees are very helpful and respectful most of the time, but all the Pokémon cards they sell are at scalped prices. It's like they're increasing every month to scam customers of their money, and all the Friday Pokémon releases aren't helpful for people who actually have jobs but still want to collect cards as a hobby or buy them for their kids.

Negative experience: Customer service leaves much to be desired. As I went in , there was no acknowledgement from the woman who was at the front. In fact , no one even bothered to ask what I needed until Brittany , the store manager , came up and proceeded to help me. To add to this abysmal showing , as I am browsing the woman who failed to greet me the proceeded to tell the manager how she attempted to say something to me twice , but I did not acknowledge. Much to her surprise , she seemed to be less than thrilled that I was still on the store and could hear the conversation. Very disappointing treatment and I will not come back to this store in the future.
Positive experience: Ridiculous rules like customers can't touch discs. Price lables stuck down over game lables. When this was pointed out, they didn't understand or even care. Your going under. Make an effort.

Negative experience: Good luck buying any game that is current at any gamestop! Go to Target, Walmart and Best Buy. Gamestop does not keep any current games in stock. When you ask if they will get any in, you do not get any helpful answer. Instead they tell you you can order the physical copy of the game online. Oh yeah, they charge $15 shipping. This company is a joke! Go spend your money elsewhere. There are other stores you can get your consoles and games from.
Fantastic experience: I always buy my games from here. When I no longer have a need for them, I am able to return them for store credit and I will purchase other games. Great place.
Negative experience: Used to love coming to this place and picking up games but had a issue yesterday where I was double charged for a game. I called yesterday and went in store to try and get a refund for the duplicate and it was like pulling teeth trying to get it resolved but im still being told it may take a few business days before it goes back into my account. Not very likely to want to go back due to lack of available help. (Sidenote: none of this is the fault of the nice person who assisted me but because of the lack of resources they were given for an issue like this)

Negative experience: Had Bern waiting in line for somebody turning in an old xbox. After 20 minutes the manager offered to get me on another register, then walks away leaving me waiting again and losing my spot in the line. Where I watched people that were behind me checking out while I was still waiting for any help... I ended up having to leave empty handed

Negative experience: They are way over priced and only wanted to give me $10 in store credit for two games that I spent over $50 on there. Also when I came searching there for a super smash bros. Ultimate game cartridge they only went down from $60 to $55 for a used one when I could go to the walmart right behind it and buy the cartridge new for $50 and when I brought up this info they never offered a better price they just said cool. So I strongly suggest never to come here.

Couldn't delete that. Update: Steven and Brittany are the bosses of bosses! Incredible team working for them that don't mind nerding out about all things gaming, collectibles, accessories, and upcoming releases. Heard some guy named Derek lost a numbers race to one of his underlings few weeks back while Steven was on holiday. Idk.

Negative experience: GameStop no longer sells controllers in the stores and they told me that they will not stock a PS5 in their physical stores either. If you want anything other than Pop toys or game software, they are just ok, usually out of stock on the things you actually want. I tried to buy an Xbox controller, but they had 0 in the store and said that they usually only carry a few at any given time. Might as well go to Walmart for the hardware and software that Gamestop refuses to stock

Positive experience: They have a great selection of pop figures, collectible action figures, t-shirts, etc. They don't have too many games in stock, but thats because everyone just buys and downloads directly from the marketplace on their Xbox or Playstation, im sure. The staff is always incredibly kind and helpful. I went in looking for Little Nightmares 2 to surprise my husband with since we played the first one together taking turns, but the girl at the register looked it up and told me they didn't have it in stock at any gamestop in Amarillo. I didn't want to go through the hassle of putting my debit card information in my husband's Xbox live account, but I thanked her and told her I would just go home and do it that way instead. The man who was working with her stopped me and said I could purchase a digital copy for the same price it would cost me on the marketplace and all I had to do was enter the code. I decided that was way better than putting in my card information and bought the code in store. I was thankful that he stopped me and let me know that. Just an example of how helpful and kind this particular store's employees are. Only downside (and its not the worker's faults) is the ridoculously low amount of money or credit they pay you for trade ins, then turn around and sell it for more than twice what they gave you. Gamestop should be ashamed of how they run their trade program.

Fantastic experience: Watch out for an employee with balding red hair and glasses. I believe his name was Aaron, if my reciepts are correct. This guy was miserable to have to deal with the two times I've been helped by him. The first time I gave him the benefit of the doubt thinking he might've had a bad day, but upon my second visit I can see that his sour attitude is just the default way he helps people. This guy actually sighed while working with me, frequently cut me off to interject, and left me hanging instead of saying "thank you" or "have a nice day" so I was left to ask "so am I good to go?" He did all these things BOTH times I was helped! This location is great, gamestop is good, and I've never had any problems with any other employees. (In fact, the other employees I've been helped by have been super personable, friendly, and willing to help!) I just wanted to single out this guy in hopes that I may help someone in the future avoid an uncomfortable encounter.
Negative experience: Went and got a game off the shelf waited 30 minute plus in line. Get to the register and informed that they don't even have that game in stock. It was placed on the shelf as filler to not have any empty shelves. Total waste of me and my family's time.

Positive experience: Very nice staff but nothing I wanted was in stock, including several advertised specials that had just barely gone live. The staff checked the other local stores for me but none of them had any of the titles in stock either. Ordered on Amazon instead.
Positive experience: So, the online order thing didn't work, but be got charged (i believe he got it fixed). We went to look in person, and in person, its the patrons who kept us from entering the store. The sign says no more than x amount of customers in the store at once, but 2 groups of people who exceeded the number posted on the door entered as we were beginning to get out of the car, so we decided not to go at that point.

Fantastic experience: Ok, so I'm not super savvy about games, but not only did Skylar walk me through everything I had questions over, he was super chill amd friendly and patient (I keep forgetting stuff and running from the counter to the back). I definitely recommend this GameStop because they have great, knowledgeable staff, short wait times, and the folks here care about you and make you feel welcome, you're not just a sale or a number to them, you're a person and you don't get that very much nowadays. Will definitely be coming back and buying more over the next few months, thanks!
