Negative experience: Taking $100 off my trade in value on a PS5 to just sell me a PS5 Pro that doesn’t have a stand is BS. I love GameStop and will never go in another one. I’ve preordered multiple things and never receive a call or heads up those items are in. The last missed call resulted in my items being put on the shelf and sold. These are the reasons ur stores are closing

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this GameStop consistently for probably 6-8 months. They are always my go-to when it comes to hunting for used games. They always take time to ask me about other games I’m looking for, and letting me know if they’re available in nearby locations, or online. (When you’re hunting for strictly Wii U games, it means a ton) Every experience I’ve had with their store manager has been some of the best customer service I’ve ever received. They (along with everyone else in the store) always have a smile, and are super helpful, even when I’m returning a disc that turned out to be faulty they make sure to make it right, offering shipping both to my home, and to the store, even if it’s a harder game to get your hands on, they always strive to make it right. Thank you guys for all that you do, and making the tough part of my hobby just a little bit easier!

Negative experience: I brought a PS4 and was told if I didn't get a warranty I have 15 days to return, I brought the game system back 2 days later was having trouble with the remote , he exchanged it out for another one, I had to bring that one back 3 days later only to be told that I can't return it because my time has expired! Mind you I'm a week into my purchase! I will never buy anything else from this specific store, they sale faulty merchandise and they lie about return policies, I don't recommend spending your money here, because most likely you'll end up having to return it anyway.

Negative experience: Awful experience. We bought an Xbox last year there while on vacation. The seller was trying to take advantage of us for not being Americans, he made up a discount that in reality was 0 (when I argued with him, he made up numbers trying to fool us). We decided to buy it anyways because it was our last day in Orlando. We paid with credit card and left, some minutes later I noticed in the ticket that he had also suscribe us to a mensual membership with GameStop that was free for the first year and then 25 dollars a month (never even mentioned it to us). We went back to speak with him and he’d said that we did not have to worry, that we would not pay anything because he did not save our payment information. Now, one year later, I have received the charge for 25 dollars in my credit card and I am spending hours trying to solve all this. DONT GO HERE IF YOU ARE TOURISTS.

Negative experience: The associate (Alexander(he/they)) working alone at the store at 7:30pm September 15th 2024, had no idea how to properly do their job. They almost denied me a trade-in for a product i have traded in the past (2 days ago), after explaining that GameStop doesn’t take Nintendo 2DS’s anymore! imagine if I hadn’t known any better and let them lie to me! After we mentioned that 2 days prior we traded another one of the same device in, they simply scanned the barcode on the back of the 2DS and suddenly they could accept it (crazy how that works!) They charged me 16$ for a refurbishment service (?), and struggled numerous times to properly apply price matching on top of the GameStop pro membership discount for a product I was purchasing. It took them 15 minutes to produce a number out of thin air, even after I had explained that I had purchased the same thing 2 days ago, and had no issues with price matching or the discount from my membership not being applied. They were also claiming they had to do math on their phone for taxes(that apply automatically at checkout), and the price at the end was still incorrect for the item I purchased. They had they audacity to be constantly complaining that myself and a friend entered to purchase something so close to closing time(8pm) as if they aren’t being paid to stand there and let me buy something. we couldn’t handle the idiocy anymore and decided to pay an extra $15 for the product simply to remove ourselves from the frustrating situation. I have never had a negative experience at this gamestop, but Alexander has and will continue to do damage to your stores reputation if left at it.

Fantastic experience: KUDOS and Thank you for Kelani for providing supreme quality customer service at this Gamestop! He is very personable and super friendly! He is very knowledgeable when it came Funko Pop figures! We struck a great conversation about the United States Air Force since he was going soon to basic training! I was able to relate since I'm an Air Force veteran myself. He given gave me a military discount as well! At the end of the transaction, Kelani thanked me for my service as I wished him luck in the Air Force. I highly recommend all to visit this Gamestop and say hi to Kelani!

Negative experience: Store doesn't open when it's supposed to. Has the time listed on the glass, but even 30 minutes later, gate is still down, with doors locked. This happened in multiple locations throughout Orlando and Kissimmee. Can't call the store, because they won't pick up. Customer service always comes off like you're bothering them.

Negative experience: Went in today and purchased a game for $38.98 with a gift card with a very high balance. Well, Mr. Kelani ( Associate ID 678783) informed me my gift card was now empty after my purchase and asked if he can throw the gift card away for me, 3 times. I asked why and he said the card was out of money. I knew it wasn't and told him give it back. He said are you sure because it has a zero balance. I got my card back and when I got home, I checked my receipt and I still had almost $200 left on the card. Watch out for your gift cards. Always take them back even, if you think they are empty.

Negative experience: GINA a very nasty attitude and NO customer service GS employee, she refused to give my money back after she made a mistake on the computer "because she is simply new".(7 day policy) She called her manager and started to freak out because she owed me money and had no idea how to work the system or even do a proper return on a game. Wal-Mart is right next door, trust me pay a little more and avoid you're iq from dropping. I'm still owed that money btw...

Negative experience: The employee was a scumbag. I tried to trade in a PS4 and they said my controller doesn't vibrate and need to charge me $55 service fee. Took the unit home and controller works fine. Did some research online and turns out this is common practice in shady GameStops to find any excuse to charge you a service fee. Liars. Scammers. Took my pristine PS4 to another GameStop and controller passed all the tests.

Negative experience: The leadership failed to keep the store ads up to date. Store Leader Mason was the active manager for the day 12/26/2020. Equipment is broken resulting in longer lines to checkout. Also, the store had way too many customers in the store for the allow amount.
