Fantastic experience: I have been a GameStop customer as long as I can remember something like 30 years and no one has ever made as good an impression as Raul. I drive 30 minutes out of my way to come to this GameStop because hopefully Raul will be there. I can’t say enough about how kind, welcoming, informative, pleasant, positive, and cool he is. I would leave a 10 star review if I could, I look forward to the next time I can come in and get a game and some helpful tips from Raul. Thank you for excellent customer service!

Fantastic experience: Best game stop I’ve been to in years!! They actually pick up the phone and answer all your questions so that all you gotta do is drive there and pick up what you need. Raul was very helpful and attentive, he really seems to enjoy his job!!

Negative experience: Good customer services but the WARRANTY PLAN IS COMPLETE BULLSHII. They make u an offer to get the warranty then when the controller mess up the sell u a used one with the same issue as the last. Completely useless

Negative experience: kind of weird that a store wouldn't sell my son an action figure behind the counter that is priced to sell. instead the guy said he was only taking trade ins because that figure is worth more than what its selling for? what kind of b.s. was that. makes me wonder because a kid was asking for a specific figure they wanted to take advantage or what was their intention here. moral of the story they displaying an item they are not selling for store price.

Negative experience: Store had a restroom break sign on the door for over an hour as I was waiting outside while my son got a hair cut next door and it never opened. Most people cant get an hour long lunch breaks at work and these people get it for a restroom break smh!

Negative experience: The store overall is decent but the manager gave my pre-orders to someone else and they have yet to replenish their stock. What's the point of the pre-order then?

Positive experience: Nice guy helped me get a PS5, at a discount! But it's refurbished and it's good as new. I appreciate his help and I recommend going there whenever you're looking for a refurbished console. PS5 or Xbox series X.

Negative experience: It has a very small selection of actual gaming items. Sure they carry all the new games but not a lot of used games or pre owned accessories either. I didn't see a whole lot of new accessories either. The two kids working the counter were just on their phones gossiping. I asked about a couple of used games and the girl gave attitude like I was a burden to them.

Negative experience: For me it’s rare when a GameStop associate is just rude and disrespectful. However, that is the case when I went to pick up a game. One employee from the Almeda Store was kind enough to call nearby stores to search for a game for me. He was successful and found one at the Southmore location, but when I arrived to pick it up this short female with glasses basically called me a lair. Saying she was there all day and didn’t know of any call. But it’s the way she said it. Like she didn’t want me there. She then start to interrogate me. Like I’m there to take someone’s preorder. If she is suppose to be training the young man who helped me then she needs to take notes because he was helpful and courteous. Don’t talk to loyal customers like you’re a detective. I’ll never go to this location again. There are far better associates at other locations who are willing and happy to help.

Though, surely somewhere on the totem pole, someone has to make the call on this sort of item and whether it should be sold. * I digress, $40 for ONE (1) U S E D joycon. Brand new, they're selling in sets of two (2) for $79 (86.00 w/tax). Not only is gamestop selling the joycon at 100% retail price for USED items...they clearly do not do what Pawn Shops even do and test the product they are reselling (overpriced at that), as the controller not only was damaged in appearance, the level of such was not noticed until I compared to my original joycon. However, appearance isn't my reason for complaining, but the fact that not only was I charged the same as a new unused controller, but for one that doesn't produce new and unused controller results. It only works for 10 to 20 mins (longer sometimes, it's hit or miss) before it disconnects. How did nobody check this beforehand? Now I've wasted unnecessary money and soon, my time. Luckily I pay attention to return policies, but I do empathize with those who do not realize they're being scammed, literally, before their small window is up and they're stuck with junk. Do better gamestop. Trying to scratch your back gamestop and keep afloat, return the gesture to your customers and do better.

I got here at 11:05 to think it was open, but nope they're not. a few other customers were waiting too and they said They're open around "11:30". If your gonna open late, change your opening hours sign to 11:30am and not 11am.

Negative experience: They may offer good info on products and games, but ask if they have anything in stock. Most of the merchandise they have for sale that are advertised out front are either sold out or not in stock. Even basic items like controllers, games, accessories for consoles, and even new games that are released are never in stock. They have notes on their products stating they could order for you, but what would be the point if you can just do the same thing by buying online at home. It's a waste of time going there just to be told they could order it for you or find another Gamestop miles away the may or may not have it. Even more of a waste of time. Be sure to inspect your pre-owned purchases because if you decide to return it. They will treat you like you damaged the product that you bought pre-owned and find reasons not to take it back. I did one return like this and this exact thing happened. I have never returned anything I bought from there before, which is a good thing, but the first time I did, the cashier remarked by accusing me of swapping the item. She did this without inspecting the item I bought from her specifically on purchase and then choosing to inspect on return. They had no prior basis to make a judgment like that. The cashier spoke in a rude tone while nodding her head in disappointed that she had to return it still. What waste of time. They need to stock up on inventory because that store is alway empty and train their employees to be more professional.
