Positive experience: Must have been a tower glitch because I don't visit this place

Positive experience: It was ok It was kinda small and had some clearance and other good stuff like marvel comics and DC comics action figures had plenty of video games and components for games even had a few board games the associate was very friendly and helpful . Saw on the window advertising for midtown con and inside they had flyers for it also

Negative experience: Imagine not being able to make sure the controller works before selling it to people. Can not believe GameXchange has better quality assurance then gamestop

Negative experience: Me and my fiancé were 6th and 7th waiting in line for the store to open at 11 on February 7th and the employee showed up after 11:20 and we all proceeded to wait in line until 11:45 at which point me and my fiancé decided to leave and go to a local store where we got the blooming waters Pokémon set. Out of curiosity we then went back by at 12:15 to see that the store had finally opened and asked “if they even received blooming waters?” to which the employee very curtly said “yep” and we were like “oh ok you sell out immediately?” and he yet again rudely answered and said “nope”… which is literally a lie. And then he was like “sorry guys I had people in line at 6:30 this am”…. Which is wild as we were there sitting in our warm car until we watched the line grow to an about 5 people which is when we got in line……..

Negative experience: Fake Pokemon games and literally would not answer the phone. I’d make the review negative if it were a possibility. Then review each employee after.

Negative experience: Horrible Employees ask them are they taking IPhones they didn’t even hesitate to say no just plain lazy and rude no respect. And I’m a long time pro Member this use to be my favorite GameStop won a few tournaments here and there back then never had a problem until yesterday strictly turned my favor smh

Negative experience: About a game a week prior at another location. The disc did not work so I tried to return it to this location and was told that I could only be offered 43 cents for my game that I paid $29 for a week. Previous. Horrible customer service!

Fantastic experience: Came in for a controller for Xbox one on the tightest budget, and after being fully satisfied with the performance and professionalism of Ashton, cannot say enough great things about this employee. Not only did he handle everything I needed in a timely manner, he also was training two new employees while also upsold an upset customer on upgrading to a better Nintendo switch. If this dude isn’t making at least $18 an hour, something is wrong with GameStop. Top tier service like that warrants rewards, so make it happen GameStop. He’s earned it and then some.

Fantastic experience: I called with a ton of questions. Aston (Gamestop union ave Memphis Tn) answered the phone and answered each question while educating me on the product VR for playstation. Not only was he answering my questions you could hear him trying to help others in the store as well. This young gentleman seems to be working hard and deserves an outstanding review.

Fantastic experience: I have never been in a GameStop that had more merchandise than it did games until I came here, and oh boy do I love it. They have all kinds of gamer accessories and stuff that I didn't. even know existed, and I find reasons other than games to come here! Staff are really cool too!

Negative experience: This GameStop has lost my business. Person behind the register was in the middle of ringing me up for several games as well as controllers, over $200 worth of stuff. Then when the customer behind me asked if they had official Xbox 1 controllers he decided to put my order on hold to get this guy his stuff first. He cancelled my order and struggled with the lock for a used controller while I sat there. I walked out. Why would he prioritize someone behind me?

Negative experience: Asked about a game I saw online and the price she told me was different from the online. Instead of her saying online prices are different or we can price match she just hunched her shoulders. So I pulled it up online and asked another cashier for help. She said we can price match. But then when she rung me up she automatically added a 4 dollar insurance fee, But didn't ask if I was interested in it first. Just rude..like who does that!

We couldn't find the right hdmi hookups anywhere so we decided to try gamestop. Thanks to these two employees, they searched and searched for exactly what we needed. Negative experience: Went to the Bartlett location because their website lied about having a game I wanted. Drove 20 mins to this location where I was told they were temporarily closed for 20 mins. I proceeded to drive 20 mins home w/o the game. I wonder why this chain is floundering? Surely it has nothing to do with high prices, unplayable used games and poor customer service...
