Fantastic experience: They always have something i want for my game systems.

Positive experience: Good selection of games a lot don't have original artwork which sucks. Lots of cool nick knacks also got trading cards which is cool. Helpful staff

Fantastic experience: Solid selection of games, I was surprised to see a decent quantity of Vita games and the NES/SNES selection is superb. I'll probably be here when I'm in fargo to bolster my 3DS collection.

Positive experience: Nostalgia Baity. Good for turning in games.

Negative experience: Policy on new consoles are a robbery. No refund. No trades . No swaps. They Will sell you faulty,defected consoles, then tell you to "scram". Also Expired warranty consoles on shelves. Night shift guys were not helpful at all.

Positive experience: Heavy set guy with the man bun has a shit attitude this is usally my go to for retro games but I may stay with electric underground from now on I come with respect I show respect It should be given back the guy was also making fun of a customer who had asked for Mario games basically calling him stupid for asking, not here to get anyone fired just hoping my review will been seen and somthing would be done about his attitude and how he addresses customers

Positive experience: A vintage game store once you've been to on you been to them all. They have a good selection though

Negative experience: Okay, first, the prices. For a Xbox 360 Elite system with everything (controller, cords, console) it costs 105 DOLLARS. When i tested the consoles, some didn’t even have a functional disc drive. It just was stuck, didn’t read, or didn’t work at all. And when i opened it up? Not even refurbished. Dirty like the Sahara Desert. They didn’t even replace thermal paste which for 105 dollars? What!? I bought 5 bucks untested consoles that work better. They do have a decent game and console selection, nice staff (sometimes), and have an ebay page for parts (which i do get parts from). Also it smells like soap. Do your business elsewhere if you go here. Last resort store 100%.

Fantastic experience: I appreciate how large this store is (even with disk golf product space). In the sense that it feels like a proper sort of chain store, like you're walking through the physical media section of a Best Buy (With disk golf). Except this place sells games and movies of all generations (and disk golf). Prices are about what you'd expect for a physical store (that sells disk golf too), competitive with eBay but with the added bonus of having the game in your hands (and maybe some disk golf equipment too). For the Fargo Moorhead area I'd absolutely recommend coming here (especially for the disk golf).

Negative experience: They will rip you off if you return something. They offered to give me twenty seven dollars for a ps4, it was still running..... highly unrecommended place to shop.

Negative experience: They are nice half the time, but my main anger is that they sell you games that aren’t in the original art work case. They just print it and put the game in there and it’s clearly reprinted but when I bought a big stack of games it wasn’t completely apparent. They should really make it a point to notify people before they buy it because i honestly wouldn’t have wanted it. And if i went back in to sell them back they would give me like 25% of what I bought from them.

Fantastic experience: 1000xs better than Gamestop. I use this location as my primary gamer/nerd spot over any other in fargo, including Paradox. Sure, they may not have what I need/want but I'd rather spend the money at a place that treats me like a human vs these other locations who's ego hasn't forgotten what this is all about.

Negative experience: Managers never there to assist. Customer service there is terrible.

Positive experience: Amazing selection! Prices are similar to what you'd see online, at least for most of the games. I'll be coming back here again.

Negative experience: So rock 30 hq reached out about the horrible experience I had at their store… it’s an automated response! I replied back over a month ago with no response… this whole thing has experience has left a shitty taste in my mouth and I’m never going back to ANY rock 30

Fantastic experience: I'm a pretty avid retro game collector and I just always love coming here, there's a lot of neat stuff to browse and I never leave without buying a few things. I just recently purchased a Sega Dreamcast from here as well and it works perfectly!

Negative experience: PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING Want to ensure you can make an informed decision with this company. Purchased a red gameboy advance sp online via Walmart and recently had issues with charging. Upon taking it a local retro game store here in NC, they informed me that my GBA was not authentic and that you can buy the replacement stickers off Etsy. With further inspection, the stickers on Etsy are identical to my number XJH11441814. All this to say the company is selling counterfeit GBAs, reading through the reviews this seems to exist outside of GBAs as well. Happy shopping!

Positive experience: Great selection of retro games, funko pops, and frisbee golf discs. Prices are retail (meaning you will pay what something is worth and prices vary a lot, makes it hard to get a “good” deal, but you also are paying a “fair” price). Items can often be dusty, dirty, or damaged (be picky). Do not recommend selling anything there (they gave me $1 (lol) for something they will put out for $20 ish. I get they need to make some money on it but might as well give it to them for free at that point). Overall they do have a lot of good stuff, good place to buy, bad place to sell. 3/5.

Negative experience: 9/10 times, it's ok. But I JUST got an Xbox 1 S. Mabey 3 weeks ago. I get a 3rd party wired controller about a week later, bc the Bluetooth sensor is messed up or something. I just got a message on my Xbox saying my controller is unauthorized. I have no $ to get a new controller, and they tell me the best I can do is turn it in for store cred. Yeah, a whole $2, when I paid $23 SMH! Now I have an Xbox I just got, that's useless. A game I just got tonight, by LITERALLY scraping the money together, that I can't use. Thanks rock30, appreciate your lack of help

Negative experience: Have been seeing seriously overpriced games as of late. A copy of Etrian Oddysey 3 selling for $225 when it's half that price online. There's an expectation of paying a bit more locally, but between a 50%+ markup and the illegal copied artwork, barely any excuse to stop in anymore

Negative experience: I went to the 3d rock near me to trade in a xbox 360 and some games for some cash and then I was asked to fill out a drop-off slip like normal and I left. 2 hours later I get a call being told they couldn't get past the parental controls pin and they told me they would try to guess the code a bit more. 1 hour passes and I get the final call and they tell me they'll give me 35 dollars for my gears of war xbox 360, terraria, gears of war 1 collectors edition, left 4 dead 2, the elder scrolls oblivion, a racing game, and black ops 2 because they "couldn't get past the parental controls lock" so I declined and picked it up, went home and decided to see if I could just bypass it. IT TOOK 1 GOOGLE SEARCH AND 3 MINUTES TO GET PAST THE PARENTAL CONTROLS LOCK. 35 DOLLARS FOR 7 GAMES, 2 CONTROLLERS, A SPECIAL EDITION XBOX 360, AND ALL THE CORDS BECAUSE THEY COULDNT SPEND 3 MINUTES. I will not be trading in with this place again, I wish I could put a lower rating.

There's always a great variety of products that catch my eye, the employees are knowledgeable and are friendly to talk to, and everything I have bought from them works well. Their prices are very reasonable. Rock 30 is one of my favorite stores to stop at.

Negative experience: These people are scam artist. I wouldn't recommend buying anything from them if you're going to buy something or order something offline I suggest you just go to your local game store and buy from them I bought a DS lite from them offline from Walmart I get the console everything looked fine until I pressed the right d-pad and I had to use excessive force to move my character I ship it back out to the same address that was on the package from them to fix it and I haven't heard anything since I call the store. They give me another number. I haven't gotten a single person to pick up that phone don't make the same mistake I did. You have been warned have a good day, besides you Rock 30 games. I hope you get shut down

Fantastic experience: The crew behind the counter were super smary and knowledgeable in the questions I asked. The store had a huge selection of older and newer games along with memorabilia. Definitely will be returning for more games.

Positive experience: Charge high prices for things they can't even bother cleaning. My son spent $200 to buy a used steering wheel. The first thing he had to do was take a cleaning cloth to it. If you're going to charge high end market rates the least you could do is take 30 seconds to clean off food grime and dirt. They have a good selection though outside of this.

Positive experience: One of the best places to go for cheap games and consoles. Watched them help someone with a broken PS4, super kind and respectful.

Negative experience: I tried calling multiple times about a wii Nintendo game Station I bought even tried calling off my daughter's phone. All none of the employees claim they could hear me on the phone. And I know my phone works. Very disappointed and not happy.

Fantastic experience: Great selection of nes super NES and N64 games

Negative experience: Went here around a year ago and got some used wii and switch games for a solid price, each time i’ve come back i’ve left empty handed as I have seen an insane increase in their prices. This place is now selling used games as if they are brand new. I understand the value in older collectible games that are no longer made but when you are charging the same price as stores for things like switch games that you are not getting in brand new condition it starts to become unreasonable, I don’t think i’ll be coming back.

Fantastic experience: Quaint spot with lots of collectibles to browse and insanely awesome amount of Discgolf discs , bags, and even holes. Only been in a couple times but I always find cool unique stuff in this shop. Ps. They have the best beef jerky I've ever tried, and I consider myself a bit of a connoisseur when it comes to jerky.

Fantastic experience: It's great to have a second hand hand store like this around. They sell some cool vintage game cartridges and new stuff too. I like that they sell disk golf gear along with video games it's like a dream come true. It's hard to find a cool store that can put two totally different activities together but they do it well!

Fantastic experience: Nice guys. One of few places that still carry "vintage" games. By vintage I mean PS2, PS3, and Wii games. They were helpful and had the Wii game I wanted. Sad to say but finding places that still carry older console games is getting harder. Rock 30 and electric underground are about it for the FM area. Happy to support this business that supports older systems.

Positive experience: This store is generally pretty amazing and has a great selection of both retro and modern games. My one piece of advice is that if you're gonna buy any game from here, (Regardless of whether it's a disc or cartridge) keep the receipt because there's a chance it might not work properly. My husband bought a PS3 game from here yesterday and it had such deep scratches that the game data installation would stop at 80 percent and make the console shut down. So yeah, there seems to be a lack of quality control here.

Negative experience: My husband bought 4 games and the worker forgot to put all the games in the case and we live a hour away but another trip to Fargo tomorrow to get the discs need to pay attention to these things not everyone lives in Fargo to just go get this we got all the way home wanted to play the games and found out didn’t have them so hubby has to go back to Fargo tomorrow more gas and money being spent

Fantastic experience: This is a really cool place I have been meaning to visit for some time but for some reason I kept passing it by. I finally caught my chance on the way to Target and was pleasantly surprised by a vast selection of retro gaming as well as some other collectable memorabilia. They also have a bigger selection of disc golf if that's your thing. There was plenty of staff that are eager to help.

Positive experience: Place is great for ps2 games and more, staff seems "bored" half the time but give off good vibes. Their website is really slow and their information on the store isn't updated to the most recent opening times. So, I would recommend just visiting the store to browse the games. It's a shame because I work all the time and would love to shop on the website for games and accessories to pick up on curbside.

Positive experience: If you're a vintage game collector, this is the place to go in Fargo Moorhead! Granted, you'll pay retail prices, but they are well stocked in games, consoles, and accessories. Trade in items you don't want to build up some store credit and cash it in on a hard to find title for your collection! They test all trade-in items and back everything with a 7-day return policy. I've had great luck with my purchases. Alternatively, if you're out scouring pawn shops for titles and get a rare find, Rock30 actually knows what it's worth and will pay good prices in cash or credit.

Negative experience: Great selection of stuff, but I'm very annoyed with my recent visit, I got a PS3 and when I got home and went to hook it up, they had given me the wrong power adapter with it, and I live 2 hours away so I can't just go trade it out, so now I have to wait an extra 4 days or so for one to arrive in the mail before I can use the console. Check your cables before you bundle them with consoles!!!!!
