Fantastic experience: I went there and originally planned to buy Wii sports, but instead came out with Wii sports and a Japanese ps2 and 3 games. Patrick was very nice and chill. Whether I caused it or not, broke a ps1 game case by accident . he was very nice about it, didn’t freak out about it, helped me collect the game and its components, and I bought it. He made sure all the games were intact and in good condition, and he was a very good employee overall. You earned yourself a customer!

Negative experience: I DO NOT recommend this store for any buying, selling, trading. For 1 this store does not price pokemon cards for their appropriate condition & will not come down to even market price! As someone who has been buying, selling, trading for years this is NOT how you do businness in pokemon. You can go to any card show or store and they price cards based on condition and this store is failure to do so. 2. Prices on some items are too overpriced based on current market prices which change all the time and the owner wont even work with you on tryin to atleast get to the current prices. I will not be back and dont recommend anyone else to go.

Fantastic experience: Howdy I went and visited Retro City aquireing a Nintendo Wii Play game for my daughter's Christmas present she was with me. The store clerk went all out kept her busy with Pokémon so I search the games and then he hid the game for me and triple bagged it so she couldn't see thats it was a Wii game or the name of the Wii Play game dude was an "Awesome Possum". She had no idea what was going on. Well be going back for sure no questions asked. The Dude even helped her with 1 of the 3 Pokémon card machines so she could a new Pokémon card so shed be busy while I was Digging through the games. They got everything, all the Nintendo Wii and Switch, Playstation, Xbox, I bet they got more I was trying to keep my daughter in the dark on her present to catch anymore but yall should check it out and have fun THANKS A BUNCH RETRO CITY WELL BE BACK

Negative experience: Pokemon section is overpriced and they don’t seem to use grading standards for pricing cards. The shop has a cool collection of old game systems and is worth the trip if you’re looking for older gaming consoles or video games.

Negative experience: Update: Tried coming here again since it’s been a while, it was hands down the WORST experience in a TCG shop we’ve ever had. There were two rude workers, neither of them said hi when we walked in. The girl (I think it was a girl, couldn’t tell tbh) looked me dead in the eyes as I said hello and walked away without saying a word. We picked out two cards and asked to look at them and they said no. I asked if they could take it out themselves, they said no. We walked after that. Trash place, trash prices, trash customer service. Not to mention the lack of organization (a kindergartener could do better) and the disgusting reeking smell of weed/pee. Seriously don’t buy into the positive reviews from the employees and their friends. There’s no way others had such positive experiences, let alone with these two brainless workers we had the misfortune of encountering. Original review: The man helping us when we went was nice, but the scalper prices on their Pokemon product made us leave empty handed. I believe the man said they went off PriceCharting which is hands down the worst of all (usually shops go based off TCG Player) so that means you’ll be paying two-three times product’s msrp, all the way down to the small singles. We refuse to buy anything from any shop/person who is contributing to the problem of the current state of things. I can’t speak on the prices of whatever else is in there but given that we went on a Saturday afternoon and not a single other person was there, it’s probably safe to say their prices on everything aren’t the best. Can’t recommend here and won’t be coming back.

Negative experience: First time here. Must’ve came on a bad day because inventory seemed low? Only had cheap/unpopular singles, barely any slabs (all were 9s) and overly priced booster bundles that were more expensive than your usual scalper prices lol Dudes were chill though

Fantastic experience: Amazing little gem hiding on west road! This shop has all kinds of really cool stuff such as pokemon card singles, slabs, ETB, collectibles, retro video games, plushes, and other really cool hard to find items!! I just discovered this shop a few days ago with some friends and I absolutely love it! The guys there are super nice, professional, knowledgeable, and they are super helpful. The inventory is constantly changing because they sell and trade so it's nice to check out this place often to see what kind of cool stuff they may have that day! Some stuff sells out very fast which is a great sign. Definitely support this small business because its worth going to!

Negative experience: Very clean and organized shop everything is somewhat reasonably priced you’re not pay too much over market. Great selection from cards to games. However the customer service needs improvement its seems like the help doesn’t want to be there and not all customers are treated the same. Him talking to the pretty girl in the front was more important than selling the XY evolution packs I had to cut there conversation off just for one gba game which was not in the best condition but wasn’t give any type of receipt either. Thank god the game did work after I cleaned the gunk out I will be back but much rather deal with the bald guy.
