Negative experience: Used the app to see that an item was in stock at store and selected store pickup. Upon going to the store, they say they are out of stock and I should’ve gotten there earlier. No apology, no explanation, just a look at me like I’m a stupid worthless idiot. I thought it was very rude and it hurt my feelings.
Fantastic experience: My pre-orders were transferred here and the guy helped me out by getting one of my pre-ordered games. So I'll be coming back here again as the store is well organized and the employee was very helpful.

Negative experience: There are so many better places to shop at. The majority of the items they sell are final sale. Which means no returns to get your money back if there is an issue. They dont care. Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart and Target all have the same items, UNUSED (not sold as New but opened) and will take items back if there is an issue. I should've just stayed with Amazon or Best Buy as usual.
Negative experience: Had to return following week to sell three games for cash due to store not having enough funds.
Negative experience: Little Asian guy working at this location is very rude. Literally chose not to do business at this location because of his how rude he was.
Negative experience: I went in the other day while the store was empty. Loudly I gave a greeting. One person never picked his head up to look at me or say anything. The other person just leaned on the counter and stared at me. Then I said “You guys don’t speak back?” They apologized. I don’t think they’re bad kids but some customer service training is in order.
Negative experience: Not sure who the associate was on 9/28 around 10:40, but he needs help. I called and he immediately asked to put me on hold for 1/2 minutes in a kind way. I waited 13 minutes lol. seems like a good enough guy, but I had to call back to get the quickest answer ever. He told me he had a line to the door and that he was alone. Maybe it’s time to start hiring for some help? If you have been, and it isn’t working, pay more than $12 an hour and I am sure you can find someone out of highschool to take the job. For reference, all I called for was to ask if they had any Scarlet/Violet codes for the shiny legendaries left and he said no. That entire question and answer took maybe 10-15 seconds.
Negative experience: About two years ago I came to this store to buy a Nintendo switch (09/03/2023). The first thing that got me upset was they bypass me on the line (multiple people were taken care of prior to me, people that arrived later) I guess ai didn't get well dressed enough to have money, or because I am a woman. Then the person that was getting my order (Matthew) kept making comments like: " this is too expensive" when I asked for prices, I asked to see the console (the Zelda one) and he showed me holding the box between his two arms like I am a danger. When I finally was able to get what I wanted (without touching anything) He sold me the 2 years warranty stating that I could exchange at any time for a brand new device. I spent $608 on that day. Fast forward to today. We came in to exchange, Matthew got us and asked what is wrong with the console, I said "I thought it was no questions asked" and he responded "it was never a police of mine" (he was the one that sold it to me stating these things). Then he proceeded to say the police has changed and now I am getting a refurbished console. All this interaction in the "superiority" voice tone Matthew uses (not sure if with everyone). I decided to not do any other business with this location anymore as all my experiences were frustrating, rude and not pleasant as it should be when you getting a new console. It could all be handled differently if this location had a decent customer service. Throughout the years my husband has been a costumer in this location with no problems but when it comes to me it is a totally different experience.
Positive experience: Great staff great prices horrible inventory. every time we go to my local GameStop from item, they almost never have it. although the staff is great the inventory is not.

Negative experience: Mans had the energy of a sleep-deprived sloth and the customer service skills of a wet sock. I asked for help, and he looked at me like I interrupted his 12th snack break.

Negative experience: Cashier Josh is the worst salesperson I’ve ever encountered. People like him should not be working in customer service. If you’re expecting help with choosing a product , you won’t get it here. Don’t expect a thank you or even a smile. If you’re looking to ruin your mood , this is the perfect place!
Negative experience: I drove 30 minutes to the Fry Rd GameStop to ask about grading Pokémon cards. The two workers at the counter were rude and unprofessional. I wasn't expecting anything special, just basic respect. Really disappointing experience.

I came here to PSA grading with a valuable card, the guy at the counter was friendly, and they didn’t have the certain sleeve so he offered to put my card in a very tide top loader, he inserted the card very abruptly and bending it in order to get it in, which made me super upset is like he was polite because of the job and jealous because of my card, poor behavior

Negative experience: Today I bought my husband's gift in that place. I wanted them to help me see which one was correct and the guy who was serving seemed angry and sick. I felt the worst. If they work in the place, they are supposed to help us with our purchases. Customer service is horrible, how is it possible that a person with that attitude works with people, I finished my purchase for the only reason that another location is very far away for me
Negative experience: I purchased game from here the cd I purchased it had big crash on the cd it didn’t work I tryed to return in the store the guy he didn’t help me at all to return the cd have problems it didn’t was anything with my coupon the cd didn’t work and I used my 5 $ on the cd they didn’t return and they didn’t gave me the 5$ back to get another game that’s totally stupid and I’m not happy at all with this store
Fantastic experience: The two employees working on the day I went were very informative. They helped me find the perfect memory card for my Xbox Series S and took the time to explain to me how it worked.

Negative experience: Went in with my son to purchase an item. Unfortunately the item was in the back store room. This really seemed to bother the employee who voiced that we should not make him walk all the way to the back if we weren’t actually going to buy it. The store was empty and I didn’t really see what his problem was. I mean is game stop volunteer work or do they get paid to give patrons a poor attitude?

Fantastic experience: Good location next to HEB and across from Walmart. Great gaming store, great selection on PlayStation, Xbox, & Nintendo games and accessories. Store is nice and clean and employees are helpful when needed. This is my favorite store, I've been going here for at least 15 yrs. So go check it out before stores like this no longer exists.

Negative experience: This location will provide you false information. My mother experienced something no mother should, which is being neglected in the store, given attitude, and provide wrong information just to hurry up and move on to the next person. Once I heard this I went in for a refund and provided my feedback. Same person MATTHEW, who spoke with my mother was there, and when I addressed his lie that the version of the game is not "free" it's only a trial, he refused to give a refund. I asked for his manager and he claims he doesn't have one and the person above him is corporate. I called corporate and filed a complaint also found out MATTHEW HAS A MANAGER.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this GameStop. Every time I have gone the staff has excellent customer service. Today I had to upgrade my Xbox, and I was very happy with the deal I got. When you sign up for their membership, you also get exclusive discounts. So, in case you think, all game stops, are the same, think again because this is the best one in the area. And Dion is the man because he is great.
Fantastic experience: Went 2 days ago, and they were very helpful, especially with me having this issue where certain locations do price matching, and others don't based off what their district manager says, even though I spoke with corporate via Facebook and they say you can price match with Target, as did this location. So very helpful staff here! Thanks for your help.
Negative experience: Poor customer service! I work all day long just wanted to spend a lil time with my brother to bring him to get some game but sadly got kick out by one of the staff saying “ We closed so hurry up I want to go home “ those are the exact words came out of one of the employees, yelling at us. I know you wanted to go home and I’m sorry for standing 2 more mins in the store.

Negative experience: BEWARE: we purchased Pokémon cards from them as a gift (im not an expert) but no where is there a sign or do they verbally tell you pokemon are cards are a final sale. No return or exchanges! It’s in the receipt in very fine print after you’ve purchased. I find this deceiving and wrong. All reputable stores disclose their when sales are final. I can only imagine how they scam young kids buying from them Oh, did I mention how rude they are. Not even apologizing for giving me misled information

Fantastic experience: Dion is the perfect example of what kind of employee you should have with your company. I'm hoping that hes the store manager because he sure acts like it. We purchased a refurbish unit from gamestop online and didn't touch it until Christmas. We are all excited because we got a new TV and the xbox for our kids. Well when we connected the xbox it wouldn't power on and looking up online found out that it was a faulty power supply. We sent an email to Gamestop online but unfortunately they didn't get back to us and then we finally just called one of our local stores. Dion told my wife not to worry about it just to bring the power brick and he would swap ot out. When my wife arrived at the store there were 15 people in line but Dion made it move very quickly she was helped within 10 minutes and out the door. Unfortunately we found out that the device itself is a problem too. When we called Dion back that very same night he said no problem just bring the whole thing back to us and we'll exchange it. When you have problems like this arise it's nice to know that there are people like him that ensure that your satisfaction is taken care of. I won't ever shop anywhere else for games other than Gamestop in the future... thank you very much.

Negative experience: The staff here are liars I purchased a ps5 for my child and was told I had to pay a one time $15 membership to even buy this system. I found out later at another location that they offer a free membership as well. But these guys prey on people without the knowledge which is disgusting. I even told the guy I didn’t want it and he told me he couldn’t sell it to me without it. Not ever telling me it’s a free membership as well. If this is there way Of making there quarter of membership sign ups it really should stop!!!!!!!!! I would never shop here again!!! And they gatekeepers of the ps5 they guy looked at me crazy like it was a secret passcode I needed. Very unprofessional group of guys there.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional, rude, and THEIF. Bought a game and used $20 worth of GS points towards the purchase. My son asked me to get Super Mario Bros.U, I made a mistake and bought Super Smash Bros. The game was still sealed, took it back to GS and asked them to exchange it. They agree to exchange it but I have to pay the difference of $20 because the $20 worth of GS POINTS can’t be transferred towards a new purchase or returned to my account. I was told it can’t be even exchanged either.

Negative experience: I came in to make a return on a new unopened game I bought, and employees don't even know their own return policy denying me a return, saying I only had 7 days to return, when the 7 day return policy is for pre-owned games not new unopened games, terrible customer service

Negative experience: Don't come here unless you're a hardcore gamer wanting to chit chat with other hardcore gamers. Otherwise, if you're a regular customer who comes in looking for something, don't expect to get greeted, acknowledged, or even spoken to. I walked around the store for nearly 30 minutes, without even one employee here saying one word to me. And they walked by me several times to go to the back for the game who they were chatting with the whole time I was there. I'll just stick to going to Walmart or shopping online going forward because I won't be coming back here.

Negative experience: Never had a problem coming here until I started to get into collectibles, more specifically, funko pops. Started to order here a lot until a certain situation. Funko chases are a 1 of 6 chance of getting, so how can I order more than 6 to a store and them tell me they got no chases in? I decided to not let it bother me until I came in again and saw what seemed to be one of the employees selling pops out of his car. And what seemed to be a chase as well. After that, I had to take my business else where.

Negative experience: Sold me a pre owned controller and half the buttons don’t work, then told me they couldn’t refund me today. Interesting because their manager was RIGHT THERE behind the guy at the register and didn’t say anything either, but their policy is right here in this pic. It clearly states “refund or exchange”. Instead told me to drive 18 miles to a different GameStop if I wanted an exchange, end refused to refund me for a janky controller they shouldn’t have sold me in the first place. Awesome customer service guys... great job... will never be buying from GameStop again.
