Fantastic experience: These people know their shit!!! Every time I've gone in, they are so friendly and helpful. They fixed a PS5 for me and helped me with a PS5 controller. They are wonderful. And they saved me from headache after headache. I wish I had gone there before. Thank you Bayfront Entertainment, you guys are amazing. You saved me time and money along with saving me from stress.

I’m pretty sure he rolled a natural 20 on charisma. You hiring this man was like pulling the perfect card in Magic: The Gathering. Honestly, give this guy a raise before another store tries to steal him like a mythic rare. Protect Frank at all costs.

They have a wide variety, and I love that they don’t try to upsell you just to make a profit. Highly recommend them for games, consoles, or console repairs. Negative experience: So let me start by saying they would a zero star if google would let me. That being said I recently went i to this store for the first time with my family here's the good they have a amazing fallout collection and for a huge fallout fan like myself who plays 76,4, and 3 on a regular basis was super nice to see and enjoy. Now the bad there was no greeting when we walked ok no biggie your busy thats fine I get it but of 10 mins or so and not a single word not a hello not can I help you find anything nothing ok fine but when I come across a table in the middle of the room with some fallout figurine boxes that had price tags on them and the very first thing you say to me is those aren't for sale well thats fine because I was just looking i wasn't even thinking about buying one thats not what I went in for I went in to look at getting a series x. Well your lose not mine I went to the exchange on peach Street and got a super amazing deal from a store full of people who were actually friendly and were happy to help with anything we needed even as their store was packed with people unlike yours me and my family didnt deserve to be treated the way we were you've lost a customer and ill make sure I tell anyone who asks not to shop here either I usually prefer to support small businesses but not if im going to be treated like this .Thanks for reading have a great day :)

Fantastic experience: I went to Bayfront Entertainment to buy Magic the Gathering cards recently, friendly and helpful staff!

Negative experience: The used games are a bit overpriced for the condition they were in. This store also ruined gateway games and make a place they can sell above market price items. HD legacy , griffins and gamecorps are now the places to go for mtg/poke that wont scalp new cards to make money.

Fantastic experience: Awesome service, they probably have every single thing I wanted, and gives the BEST and I am not joking when I say the BEST WORKERS AND GAME SELECTION EVER, infinity stars if I could!

Fantastic experience: Very fair and honest people , I’ve bought numerous games and a few game systems including a game cube and a Xbox 360 MW2 Edition and they gave me great trade value for my GameCube towards the 360. Don’t think I’ll go anywhere else for my gaming needs

Negative experience: I’ve had pleasant experiences here before and their selection is both expansive and reasonably priced, and have patronized Bayfront Entertainment sporadically for a couple years, but earlier this summer I bought a “refurbished” NES from them that was claimed to work fine—after getting home and testing it, I didn’t get the blinking light of death, but none of my games loaded past a frozen, dimly colored screen. My frustration lies with the response I was given after revisiting and asking if I could return the console and swap it out for a different one—I explained the situation and was told “it should work fine, your games are probably just dirty, you can bring them in and we’ll clean them.” I replied that I do clean my games correctly, but was met with the same answer, so I accepted and went back home with the broken console. Just recently, I tried to sell the NES to another local game store but first had them test it, and they confirmed the console was busted. Hopefully in the future this business can put more rigorous testing into their machines and more care into their clients’ experiences with them.

Negative experience: This place is never actually open when it says it is, have came here a few times in the last 1-2 years.

Fantastic experience: Nice staff and if they don’t have what you are looking for in store they can either find it for you or order it in. Pretty decent selection of games ranging from DS-Xbox for a decent price.

I think this store has only gotten WAY better since the last time I was up here. The overall game selection is extremely varied and large. Many of these games I have never seen in person before. The selection of boxed GBA and SNES are unmatched by ANY store I’ve visited, and I’ve visited almost every little game shop in the southwest part of the state. Prices also very fair compared to where I’m from. If you are in the Erie area and into retro gaming you NEED to go to this store. P.S. If you are reading this (sorry I don’t remember your name ) Bro Man’s was really really good Old review: First of all, I want to say this is one of the BEST retro game stores I’ve ever been in. The staff is nice and there’s generally a really wide selection and probably the most diverse in terms of games and consoles. TONS and TONS of nes and snes games. The staff I genuinely nice to talk to and be around. I bought an N64 and I got to say the restoration on this console is beautiful and Mario 64 was a little scuffed but it looked amazing as well. A few of the games are sun faded but it’s not that big of a deal, it’s few and far between. Overall, great place to visit if you’re in the area especially if you love retro stuff.

Fantastic experience: Fun place with a VERY extensive selection. Prices aren't the lowest you'll find, but they are reasonable enough for a brick and mortar store. Especially since the dude gave me all these games for $20 flat! Thats right, a dollar for each of those cartridges. The only thing I'd suggest is to add music to the store. Walking around in the silence was a bit uncomfortable, but that could just be me. Put some Zelda shop music on the speakers and it will be a masterpiece of a store!

Fantastic experience: Really great place to get some old or newer games. Real blast for people who like video games and prices are fair and are willing to help with anything and everything video game related. Staff is super nice and easy to talk to and are just as excited about helping you out as you are with getting your stuff fixed or getting a gameboy sp and some pokemon games.

Fantastic experience: Well this was ok, but they're closed now and it sucks because we don't really have too many second hand/used video game stores in Erie PA anymore unfortunately it sucks, the closest thing we have is Game Stop and that's cool but no competition

You're still quoting that the word "stole" was ever uttered though, which is a lie. Never resold a game in my LIFE, by the way. Once you made it clear that you refused to sell several unpriced games or empty game boxes that were on display throughout different sections of the store next to other priced games... Simply because you needed to research them further to make sure you weren't going to give away too good of a deal.. I realized I was in eBay store purgatory and gladly made you aware of the deal the other customer got. I'm sure you made a perfectly fine profit despite the measly 50% off deal of a $35 game he basically got. I was making it clear to you that I wasn't going to play the anti-consumer game of "pay top dollar or get out" without at least making it clear that I've never had a problem bargain hunting and using tools such as price charting to limit how much I allow myself to spend to acquire a game I want. Its served me well and saved me a lot of money to shop smart while collecting over 6000+ games. It's taken me years to piece together some sets, but it's Fun to do it that way. If I'd paid full market value for everything, I'd have almost nothing to show for it. Haggling is commonplace in used markets. The man with 6 R.O.B.s on display clearly isn't trying to move product anytime soon though. There must be some cheap rent or taxes there if you're not worried about going out of business.. I've only ever met a few other owners like you across the 250+ mom n pop game stores I've visited across the states... Those stores didn't stay open for one reason or another but they all had rude owners that refused to haggle or give deals.. never met one that wouldn't even price several items on display though. That's a new one. Worthy of a CU Podcast episode.. I had thousands in cash I was ready to give you that day, and likely on many return visits in coming years whenever we made it through the rust belt tour again.. An Ohio store owner happily sold me my Earthbound for $300 less than eBay, A Michigan store sold me my Musha for 20% off whatever the heck eBay said at the time.. dozens of TurboGrafx games in Vegas shops for almost half off because I cleared them out in order to build my collection. All happy to do business with bargain hunting collectors like myself because it's still a great profit margin for them to do so.. it's business 101 to be willing to sell something expensive at a discount (Volume>Margin), especially when selling expensive used collectibles. 乁⁠(⁠ ⁠•⁠_⁠•⁠ )ㄏ if you care about getting that close to eBay price you're alienating big money and the hardcore members of be hobby.. the only reseller here is you, sir. You lost every future sale from several collectors that day and a store with some of your stock is one I'd have gladly made return visits to once or twice a year to spend thousands at if you were actually a friendly, respectful and decent person, but clearly the dozens of other reviews on here show me I'm not alone in my experience.. Collectors, Hagglers, Discount Shoppers, Bargain Hunters--drive on by. This is a guy who thinks a thrift store or flea market in 2025 is where collectors can focus their attention at in order to reliably get their deals and finds, as if actual scumbag resellers don't camp these. Just stay in your local state and go to GameStops or used chain stores like The Exchange, Disc Replay, Another Castle, or Game Xchange if you want to pay these kinds of prices. But even there, I've easily offered low prices and been given deals. They actually sold me what they had on display and at a deal when I haggled, knowingly! HUH, how strange, right? I only wish this was a comment section with actual discourse because giving you the last word and having no direct way to rebuke you regarding your business practices is ridiculous--considering the way you've responded to others. If you keep hearing the same kind of complaints, it's not them--it's you.

Negative experience: Putting products out on shelves then saying you won't sell them when a customer is ready to hand you money is how you lose customers. Go do your eBay store and close the brick n mortar one if you're gonna act this way.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing experience here. The owners are wonderful and helped bring my copy of Pokemon HeartGold back to life despite its rough condition. They also have an amazing selection of retro games and consoles. I will definitely be back and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for older games and consoles !!! :D

Fantastic experience: Amazing game store- actually the best one I've been to in Erie. My sister and I came with tons of questions and sales clerks were happy to answer, extremely kind, and happy to talk while we waiting for our cartridge cleaning to be finished. One of the clerks were even able to bring back a basically dead game...Its also obvious that this store prioritizes honest sales and fair pricing- something hard to find nowadays among game collection stores!!

Super helpful I just bought a gameboy advance SP with pokemon gold game worked great then had a problem few minutes into trying it took it back and she had the problem solved within minutes everything working great now and made me feel like I can come back anytime highly recommend!

There are a lot of things without price stickers, but what they actually cost is quite reasonable! I just got 2 DVDs and 2 Original Xbox games for $9 and will definitely be back! Negative experience: High prices for games you can find elsewhere in better condition. There is a lot of sun bleaching on a lot of their products and many of them are not priced until you ask the uninterested employee. Not worth checking out Edit (after response from owner): I am not on vacation so unsure of that relevance. Gamestop does not sell older games which is most of your stock so I am unsure what you are using to compare.

Positive experience: Overall had a good experience with a friendly staff and good selection. In more detail, the store was well maintained and clean. Products are primarily games, generally older games although they have a few new generation games floating around. I was particularly impressed that they stock a good collection of old PC games including big box sets. They do have game related merchandise, although that collection is pretty limited. The store itself is pretty small, but accessibility is maintained with open isles. I don't remember who was there when I was, but the staff I talked to was friendly and knowledgeable. Importantly they weren't pushy about decisions and seemed to have my interests in mind. I think it's worth stopping and checking if you want older games.

Fantastic experience: I go video game hunting for the lot and I stopped in the store and from the 1st thing I saw from a giant deadpool statue I knew I wanted. To be in there and looking at all of the games I'm definitely going back I love stories like this Bought my 1st game gear game there even gave me the manual to go with it.
