Negative experience: Store says open at 10am. Showed up at 10:15. Still not open

Negative experience: Gamestops in general seem to be going downhill. Not the friendliest workers in this store. Just overall not a great experience.

Negative experience: Horrible the kid was rude red head kid so I go in attempting to resell a ps5 controller and headset I was offered a whopping $11 dollars. I said “ any way you could do $15 it’s like new he goes “ I can do what my system says and it says $11 dollars so I can write a review and my review is 1 star only because 0 stars were available. This is not the 1st time I’ve had a horrible experience here and been treated rude.

Negative experience: TLDR Lazy staff My wife and I show up at 8:30p wanting to trade in a system. The manager told us he is not taking trades, kicked us out of the store, then closed and locked the gates.

Negative experience: If you order online for store pick up they will open your products and remove the wrappers. Definitely will not be placing pick up orders again. The associate kept walking away from my transaction to help the associate with another person. He should have said “sir, I’ll be right with you my colleague needs assistance” I would have been ok if he did that then completely finished the transaction for the other associate and customer. But he decided to keep walking away.

Negative experience: I’m giving this place a one star only because customer service is great. Prices are way too high now went in to get a PS five GTA five They said the price is $40 I went over to Walmart got it for only $10 then you’re selling cheats for games because they can’t find anything else to put on the shelves because no one‘s buying it. It’s sad to see the company get close to bankrupt then come back and then write back it will be going.

Fantastic experience: Huge thank you to the employees at this GameStop location!!!! I went to trade in my Nintendo Switch at the Harborcreek location and was told that there were a few scratches beside the screen protector and the employee said that it would need to be taken in as defective. I was advised to take it to the mall location since "they would probably buy it for full price since they need things to sell." On the way up, I stopped at this location since I had a good experience previously purchasing ps5 games. I took in the console and explained to them what happened and tried to point out the scratches. They got a kick out of it saying it was as pristine as it could get for a used console. Both of them were looking at it and trying to find a single scratch. I was kinda annoyed that I had to take it all the way up to the other locations to trade in a fully functional, barely used, looking good Nintendo Switch. I really appreciate the time they took to help me considering it was busy and keeping me from having to drive to the third GameStop location in Erie. 10/10 will go back to this store!

I come in the next day and they tell me they don't have my product that I paid for and ordered. I ask for the manager the guy says "I am the manager Bruh". It was the overweight, blonde thinning hair guy. Most unprofessional experience of my life. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. DO NOT RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP, DO NOT PAY FOR THE EXTENDED WARRANTY, AND DO NOT PRE ORDER GAMES"

Negative experience: VERY DISSATISFIED with my experience here. I sold a console to this store and bought another console, as well as several accessories and games on the same day. I was told they were running a deal where NBA2K20 was only $30 so I figured I would buy it while I was there. Come to find out that online the game was less than $20. Called about returning the game and they gave me a hard time and said they could only do store credit for it. I also planned to return a pre-owned game since it was within the 7 day period. When they were processing my return they tried to give me store credit for BOTH games without asking if I would like my card refunded for the pre-owned game amount. When I asked why the gentleman was not refunding my card for that game he tried to tell me I did not reach the value of my trade-ins therefore they could not refund my card for the pre-owned game. After I questioned him on this and asked why he would not refund my card (it was within 7 days of purchasing which is their "policy") he refunded my card no problem. GameStop is a big scam and only cares about making money and not customer satisfaction. Very disappointed and will never buy from there again.

Negative experience: Just returned a brand new game i got for christmas with recipet and only got $20 in trade in instead of the full amount. Total scam!

Negative experience: We just went to buy an elite Xbox one controller series 2 that was in stock. We were told there were 2 available and they refused to sell one of them to us because they were holding them for someone else who hadn’t paid for them yet. Now we have to find yet another game stop that’s carrying them when we specifically came an hour away from where we live to get one because we were told they were available. Very poor customer service.

Negative experience: I had a limited edition destiny 2 ps4 pro, ps4 slim 1tb, two $300 dollar smart phones barely a month old, and they only wanted to give me $400 for it all.. I would stay away selling products and buying from their used consoles, not worth it. J bought a xbone one s 1tb from them, promised I'd have the chance to buy back the one I had originally sold off, before they sent it off, and they said, we don't so that, when they do and it's in their service contract that you sign before you sell.. they don't tell you that, but it's an option.. I only got $80 for the xbone one s.. I'll never sell to this store or buy from again
