Negative experience: Should have more than one sales rep in the store during Christmas time. Very slow on checking people out.

Negative experience: I had an active warranty for my damaged game system, but the store clerk and General Manager made excuses to avoid honoring it and evnlen suggested I get it repaired elsewhere. The clerk even said honoring the warranty would cause the store to "take a hit" and "the refurbishing team would have to work too hard to refurbish the old system". This shows the “no worries, no hassle” warranty is misleading. Warranties should protect customers; instead, they appear to protect GameStop's profit margin with a disregard for customer service.

Positive experience: They have what I shop there for and that's games. And that's enough. A little pushy on trying to get you to buy other things and that's why I try and limit how often I go there. Like used car salesmen. Annoying.

Negative experience: Despite calling ahead to get accurate info on the store policy to avoid wasting anyone's time, I was mislead by Martin who failed to mention a key fact, that subsequently caused me to waste gas and time. Had Martin informed me of 1 simple aspect of the policy this would have been avoided. Martin's nonchalant attitude was the worse part of today's exp.

Positive experience: It's a little bit low on stock. On the phone. But they did give me a Military/Veteran Discount!

Positive experience: Went in, told them what happened. And the situation was handled. The controller was defective and after chatting with someone that was knowledgeable about Xbox hardware both confirmed it and resolved the problem. Quite happy now.

Fantastic experience: They were very helpful especially during this holiday season. I could tell they were tired however they gave awesome customer service! I will be back.

Fantastic experience: This has been a staple in our family for years after starting all over with two new sons it was totally hilarious to have to remember our phone number in the account. Our son's were able to get several games & I was able to indulge my collectors habit. The prices are always beyond reasonable and the replacement warranty is priceless.

Fantastic experience: They sell games. They also sell junky cash grab collectables, but we dont go there for that. We go for the games! Watch out for typical upscale especially powerup rewards pushing. Treat their membership like you would drugs...just say no. Keep it moving.

Negative experience: Store manager is an idiot, he marked an old style $100 bill I brought in with a regular permanent marker and asked me "Where'd you get the hundred, I cant take it, it's not real" I looked at him, looked at the hundred that I'd previously marked with a real counterfeit pen and told him of his mistake. He tells me "oh I've never seen one of these"...fuxxxxg millennials

Positive experience: Decent store, decent service.. People that work there seem to come and go like a revolving door. I miss their old cashier.. Don't remember his name.. Anyways, most of the time people there just ring you up, and then you leave, but sometimes you'll find someone that remembers you and what you like to buy or they'll chat with you like you're a friend.. It really feels like its the people that make the place, but.. you can expect the bare minimum here pretty consistently. As anyone that's ever visited a Gamestop would know by now, they have a good selection of items to choose from.. good selection of games, plushies, shirts, gift cards, toys, figurines, novelty items, whatever..

Fantastic experience: For years I have always had a great experience with customer care at Montgomery AL GameStop locations...the employees are always very knowledgeable and helpful beyond expectations. I would like to send a special shout out to Erin at the Atlanta Hwy location...last minute before the store closed, she hooked me up. She represents everything awesome about this company and its employees - better yet, representatives.

Fantastic experience: I went in to trade a 3DS XL for a New 3DS XL. The two employees working there at the time, Matthew (the manager) and Kaiser, were both very personable, and made the exchange very easy. As I was waiting, several customers came in, and they were all treated professionally. Matthew went above and beyond to help me out with this exchange, and as a result, this has become my GameStop of choice.

Negative experience: Worst customer service .. also closed early on a Sunday when store hrs say open till 6.. Markell is a lying and not a understanding manager .. horrible customer experience
