Negative experience: Had an employee with huge line of customers. Employee definitly needed help. After 15 mintues of the second employee not helping, knowing we have been waiting he walks up to a customer that freshly walks in and helps them. He might not be register trained. But either way he NEEDS to be. I watched people walk out and put purchases back. I will be visiting a different gamestop from now on.

Negative experience: Awful customer service. Lost my pre order never contacted me to let me know. When I went to check they said they had to order from another store. Waited a week just for them to say they never order it from another store when I watched them order. Didn’t offer any help for finding my collectible that I pre ordered.
Negative experience: No where in that store does it say, “clearance items can’t be returned!” However on the printed receipt that policy is stated. The manager told me, “well I could read at 11,” implying my stepson couldn’t read! I had words with him and have filed a formal complaint! Avoid this store!!

Negative experience: Was told that an item would fit my phone (the employee did not ask what version IPhone I had) and after I purchased I noticed it would not fit. I came in (30 seconds later) to try and fix the situation and was told I could receive no refund even though it was the employee’s guarantee that made me purchase the product. I will never shop at GameStop again.

Negative experience: When I walked into the store, I was the only customer. I wasnt greeted or anything. I spent several minutes looking at Switch controllers and talking aloud, no assistance. Yet when men walked in they were greeted immediately. Its 2025, female gamers exist. I brought 2 controllers for my Switch 2 from Best Buy, they were cheaper and had better designs.
Negative experience: Looking for the Riftbound card game and a good friend was able to purchase packs from them on Friday 10/31, but when I went was told that all available product was preordered and they had none left. Preorder policy dictates that product be released after 48 hours so when I went in today 11/4 hoping to get product the employees refused to release preorders for purchase even though they were in stock. This used to be my go to GameStop, but I cancelled my preorders today and will be taking my business to a different location. Sadly, it seems that most of the employees are holding product for 'favorite' customers or themselves. What other reason would there be for not selling product as they do not work on commission.
Fantastic experience: Always my favorite location! Staff are above and beyond and not to mention Super friendly! Cassidy is great and also the red head manager. Sorry can't remember her name but everyone is great here.

Negative experience: Tried to purchase a game that was priced with a gamestop sticker for 15 dollars. I went to check out and it scanned at 40. I pointed out the price sticker with the 15 dollar price and the cashier and she would not honor it. She said they had to go with what was in the system. Never visiting this store again.
Fantastic experience: Cassidy at gamestop is amazing, not only is she extremely kind, and patient when it comes to 50 people in line for pokemon cards at open..... She allowed me to save this amazing piece from the trash. I will cherish it forever. Thank you for allowing me to have the display, it means a lot. Cassidy from gamestop is the goat.
Fantastic experience: Hi I did a large card order in February at the bridford gamestop in Greensboro (about 50 cards) and I got them back in a reasonable amount of time. The 3 different gamestop employees I talked to were all helpful. Thanks!

Negative experience: Purchased a PS3 a year ago and got warranty just in case I wanted to sell it back. I was advised that I wasn’t allowed to sell it back at all and couldn’t get anything for it and that the warranty that I got on the games which was not a part of the bundle and was purchased later on I am not able to give back. I was advised that if I got warranty on the controllers, the actual PS3 and the video games which was purchased separately that I could sell back.
Negative experience: Rarely opens on posted time. It's currently 1/18/25 with a posted time of 10am open and its 11:27am and still not open.

Fantastic experience: You guys should be glad about having Steven with you. I have around 3 options to go to near me but I keep going to this gamestop just because of him. These days it's imposible to find someone in these stores with the passion and knowledge to make you feel you are making the right decision on your purchase. I started visiting GS more frequently because of Pokemon TCG and this guy is the perfect fit for a service like that. He takes the time to explain, to check to clear out any questions. Yes he might take longer when you are on the line but it's because he gives a personalized service. In a new era where everything can be purchased online employees like him make you still preferring going in store.

Negative experience: They were really nice! Until they used the buy 2 get 1 free for pre-owned games against us. We brought up 2 5$ games and Steven told us about the deal if we signed up for pro. I understand that it's extra to sign up, the problem was after we got our third game, which was more expensive but what SUPPOSED to be free. Instead, they counted the price for the most expensive ones, and made the CHEAPEST game free, essentially no longer making it a deal at all. Not the worse thing that could happen, but pretty frustrating EDIT: We learned that it's actually gamestops policy to make the cheapest game free, which sucks. We just weren't told that so we blamed the cashier. Not his fault, but he should have told us or we wouldn't have gotten the more expensive game

Fantastic experience: The employees here are very helpful. I was asking them if they had something in particular in stock that I was looking for that is hard to find. It was not in stock but the guy said he had received a shipment today that he has not went through. He told me if he saw what I was looking for when he went through the shipment he would give me a call personally and let me know that it was in stock. This is something they usually don't do at GameStop but this employee was really nice and helpful. I would recommend this GameStop location all the employees seem to be really helpful when I go in here.

I had a negative experience purchasing a game through a bundle on the website that was defective, and not only did Michael look it up at another store, he also called to be sure I would get a replacement. Fantastic experience: I visited this Gamestop after unsuccessfully trying to make a purchase in the HP location off main st. I called ahead to GSO looking for the 1 Naruto Uchiha Itachi figurine they had in stock. The guy who answered was knowledgeable & put the item to the side without me asking. Upon arriving to the store my purchase was seamless.

Fantastic experience: Normally when I get bombarded by a sales person right off the bat, I feel put off and resistant, but this dude was really chill and relaxed. He answered questions I didn't even know I had. Even tho I already knew what I was buying before I entered the building, he helped mold my purchase a good bit and even hooked me up with a deal that he didn't have to use. I know Gamestop seems to be on it's way out, but the salesperson I had just showed me that they can be a great company. Positive experience: While just about every single experience I had at this store has been nothing but positive, today was a bit egregious. A normal visit I'm greeted and asked if I needed help. Nothing of the sort today. There's a young lady that works here that ALWAYS helps everyone who comes through the door. Today she wasn't there, just 3 young men. I was looked at multiple times by all 3 employees, never greeted, never asked if I needed help even after being in the store more than 15 minutes. Meanwhile, multiple customers walked through the door were greeted and asked if they needed help. Unacceptable.

Positive experience: Who couldn't love a game store? I have been to some bad ones but this is not one of them. The people were nice and attentive. The only issue I have is the middle displays shelves just are compounded with junk. You really couldn't tell what was what. Definitely could use some re-mechandising. Other than that it was a great experience.

Negative experience: I was shopping headphones not sure which ones I wanted to pick up but wanted to take a look at different models . The young lady suggested going straight to layaway as if I couldn’t afford head phones felt as she suggest I couldn’t afford stuff in there not knowing my budget or even caring . Definitely felt as if this was more racial then wanting to help smh wouldn’t shop here ever again . Best Buy is right up the road where the staff is open to all races and won’t judge you based off of just looking at you
