Negative experience: I dread coming here anytime I can't find what I need at a local small business. Constantly given the hard sell on game pro subscriptions or whatever they're called. Can't buy a single thing here quickly, they talk over you if you try to say no to absolutely anything other than the game I'm buying and then talk to you like you're an idiot for not falling for the used car salesmen pitch. This isn't an employee problem, it's a gamestop problem, but I wish the ginger beard guy would lay off. Dude must be getting bonus money for this or something.

Negative experience: I came in yesterday 7/3 and was ignored as the guy welcomed and spoke to two groups who came in after me. I even walked by the register to see if he would say something but he never did. He was helping someone else but that didnt stop him from speaking to other people who came in after me. Maybe I dont look like your typical gamer because im 7 months pregnant but I just got the Nintendo Switch 2 last week during the Walmart restock. I was looking for another controller, case and to preorder Mario Jamboree. Instead, I left and went to the battleground location where they welcomed me, while having other people in the store, and helped me get what I was looking for.
Fantastic experience: Great company to get gaming needs met, including external hard drives online. This company has great deals at times.
Negative experience: Never met a pushier, more obnoxious employee in any gamestop than the big goofy manager working here. I don’t go to gamestop anymore precisely because they always have to push memberships and protections down your throat, but this dude was next level. I dunno how you’re gonna sell your product and be rude about it at the same time. I hate to say it but just don’t waste your time and money with this company anymore.
Negative experience: Purchased a PS4 for sons Christmas gift. The unit would not take disc into the machine. Game Stop would not do a exchanged since it was over 30 days from purchase. All they would do was let me trade it in. So I essentially ended up buying 2 PS4's. Selling non working products. Customer Service at its best. I will never buy anything else from them.
Negative experience: Do NOT shop at this location if Kellin is working, extremely rude, very loud, very pushy about selling me a pro or a warranty. He refuses a no as an answer and he will throw a fit like a 10yr old kid. Go to Wendover instead.
Negative experience: This is the third time we’ve come into this location and had a bad experience. Not that we’re entitled to a greeting, but the tall extremely loud guy didn’t even look up from his conversation until we were standing at the counter looking directly at him. We were there to trade in a PS4 Pro with accessories and games. Unplugged it at home, drove it straight there, and handed it to him. He called me over and showed me that his monitor he plugged it into wasn’t getting a signal. He said the HDMI port was defective and they could only give me $35 for it. I told him it had worked flawlessly for years and did when I unplugged it 15 minutes ago at home and asked if there was a possibility that it could’ve been his equipment, which he denied. Okay, he’s going by what he sees, that’s fair. But upon returning home I plugged everything back in and it worked straight away, no issues. I plugged it into multiple HDMI Inputs on my tv, set it on its side, stood it up, wiggled the HDMI cable at the back of the PlayStation - no issues at all. I would not waste my own time bringing a broken console to trade in. I know GameStop is well known for bending people over when it comes to trade ins, but someone was right in this situation and someone was wrong, and the loud guy (Callan sp?) offered no leeway that it could’ve been situational to their equipment. I called to let him know that there were, in fact, zero issues after being ready to troubleshoot, and he dug his heels in and doubled down. We can overlook that the store is a dump even by GameStop’s low standards, but poor service every single time we’ve been in isn’t it. There are plenty of other GameStops in the area. Save yourself the trouble.

Negative experience: I purchased a game on sale for a relative as a gift. It was part of a several games purchase. I politely asked the clerk to make sure the discs were in the cases ans I was checking out. I arrive home, 40 minutes away, and realize that one game was missing from the case. I call the store to inquire and was accused of lying and asked to speak to a manager and have this disc shipped to me. Their mistake and I wasn’t going out of my way to correct it. Manager got an attitude and said they could not ship it. The staff at this location are unprofessional, careless, and rude. Your money could be best spent elsewhere to be honest.

Negative experience: Horrible place to shop, we bought a nintendo switch used and they just tossed it sloppily in a box with a broken power supply. When we went to another gamestop they asked where we bought it and the worker literally said Oh No which goes to show this gamestop is horrible. The other one we went to gave us one nicely packed and protected.

Negative experience: Went in to use my monthly $5 GameStop credit and saw a game for $30. The cashier rings me up, and I swipe my card. I don't realize until I get to my car the total should've been closer to $25, not what I was actually charged, $35. I go in to adive the cashier that the game didn't ring up properly. He advised me that it was an outdated sticker on the game case and that there was nothing that he could do. I asked for a refund and he then advised that I would also NOT be getting my GameStop credit back. So essentially GameStop gets to steal for their customers and it's okay.
Negative experience: Attempted to place an order online and due to website issues, was directed to place an order directly with the store. When I called the store, was told that was not possible. That's all fine, but there is no reason to be as rude as they were regarding the issue. No wonder Gamestop has been close to going out of business.

Negative experience: Decided to attend a midnight release at this location after hearing about the Zelda "freebies" that would be offered along with a trivia game to earn these freebies. I arrived at 9:45 and waited outside for manager Kellin to arrive at 9:55, who sat in his car until 9:57. He unlocked the door and when I proceeded to enter the store he stopped me and rudely remarked, "not till 10" and re-locked the door for 2 minutes. Once I was allowed in, I went ahead and pre ordered the game in store after seeing that there was a wooden plaque offered when purchasing from Gamestop. Kellin never handed me a plaque with my order and claimed that because I didn't pre-order earlier I wasn't able to have one. He then proceeded to hand them out to other customers and made sure to say "because you guys pre-ordered you get this plaque" loudly enough so that I heard it each time. He also decided to say, "Alright man go ahead and spend another $70 on the cartridge in a month" when I turned down his repeated efforts to buy a warranty. Later on when it was time for trivia, Kellin decided to cancel the trivia and instead pass the "freebies" out to his friends (one of whom was named Andre) and former gamestop employees who were also attending the event. I immediately questioned Kellin, why did you pass these out to your friends instead of the customers who have been waiting here the whole night? He remarked "they were first" and shrugged his shoulders which was a complete lie. The camera recordings will show who was there first and will also show Kellin handing out freebies to very specific people. Around 11:50, Kellin attempted to bring out the packages containing the games but tried carrying too many and dropped packages on the ground; enough to actually damage the collectors editions within them, so my copy came with wear and tear before I ever even held it. Overall, it was a horrible experience solely due to manager Kellin being extremely rude, careless, joking and passing out freebies to his friends as the night went on. Very unfortunate this is the type of person entrusted to manage the midnight release of such a beloved franchise. I will not be returning to this location or ever pre-ordering/purchasing from Gamestop again. Thank you Kellin for ruining the midnight release of Tears of the Kingdom.
Positive experience: Wasn't bad. 4 stars since the manager stepped up and got my online order sorted out. Really it's a 2 star review, as they don't let me use my coupons and rewards on digital currency or downloads. Won't be renewing and I won't be returning after I've used my current round of rewards.

Negative experience: The real short guy working this morning lied and said this location did not have a game in stock and then refused to check to see which location did. I had to check online to see if this location had it and they did. He just flat out lied. I went back to the store and purchased the game. If you don't want to do your job don't come to work. The young man at the Westridge location on Battleground was extremely helpful.
Negative experience: I was at checkout and the employee kept hassling me to buy their protection plan.He even went as far as saying well if you want to keeping spending hundreds of dollars be my guest. Noticed that one of the other employees a young blonde girl looked scared of him as he went by her.

Positive experience: The most odd thing happened. We were at the checkout and I gave our number. The employee saw my husband's name come up and asked if I was his wife. I affirmed. He then raised an eyebrow and asked me if it would be okay with my husband if I were to use his number for the discount. I replied "Well, he was okay with me having his children. I assume he would be okay with me using the Game Stop discount." Puzzling indeed. Yes. I got the discount. Yes. (For those of you wondering) My husband was entirely okay with this.

Positive experience: it's ok for physical disk and collectable shopping, however, this is far less efficient than digital copies or online shopping, but if you need to trade anything in, just pawn it off, for example, I was offered $20 for the entirety of my playstation 4 physical disk collection, I went to a pawn shop and sold them for $55, still not amazing but it's way better than gamestop

Called the store to confirm that they had a game at avertised price, they said they did, I get there 5min latter and the did not have it but we're willing to sell me a used one for 1$ less. I understand that this increases profits for the store. But don't do this to customers that you have allredy told you you have a new game in stock.

Negative experience: When we first arrived at the store, the staff was friendly and greeted us as usual and asked if we needed any help. The young man who works there showed us to the section that we were looking for and my boyfriend and I proceeded to look at the games. The young lady who works there as well then proceeded to keep coming to the back putting up the same products and messing with stuff acting as though she is working but in reality she is watching us. I am a black woman and my boyfriend is mixed and mostly Hispanic but is always mistaken for being white. After LITERALLY the 4th time of the young lady twittling on the shelves next to us she asks if we would like any recommendations. So I kindly say sure and she gives us a few video game selections. One of the video games that she gives us she mentions that you can change your race and then tried to cover it up by saying you can be an elf and all this jazz. Racist. Then, the icing on the cake is that we were waiting in line for forever at the sign that says “Please wait here”. They seemed to move slower with their customers once we got in line. So after the young man finishes with his customers he allows another man (white) to step in front of us KNOWING that we had been waiting for a while!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. He didn’t even mention to the man that we had been waiting! So we patiently waiting some more and the young man again after a long time of waiting on the customer to hen attends to us and says first “oh, you’re looking to buy these” as if we didn’t have money to buy the 5 games in our hands. We got the games because our game night wasn’t going to be ruined, but I will not be returning.
