Negative experience: Why say pro members can buy 2 items but then yall say ohhh no you can only get one lmao stop putting falls information there’s no point of having a pro membership then

Negative experience: As of 08/30 4:52 p.m. they'll tell you they don't have any in stock but the stock checker isn't showing that. Just say you reserved some for the employees, don't lie about it. GameStop employees are to entitled and act special for some reason.

Negative experience: Lied to us saying they had the physical copy of a game, so they could sell us a used/digital one after waiting in a long line. Also, the cashiers are loud, rude, and very pushy about selling stuff. Avoid the trouble - there are other places nearby.

Negative experience: Horrible experience very inconvenient due to fact I had to go back to to get the security tag taken off a tshirt I bought earlier today. And gas is not cheap right now and I hope all the gamestops close down like the one gamestop at the av mall that recently shut down. Seriously I hope all the gamestops close down.

Negative experience: GameStop is stealing from everyone. They have their pro plan set as auto enroll and auto renew. The employees won’t tell you. Don’t purchase anything from them. This is fraud. Who wants to join a class action with me?

Negative experience: Horrible place. They google answers with you. Sell you the wrong product, tell you if it doesnt work bring it back then won't take the product back. But at least they were nice

Negative experience: Went to exchange my Ps5 controller with warranty. Their excuse was that it had external damage and they cant switch the joysticks . They must think people are stupid and dont know its an easy repair. Went to get me a brand new controller at Best buy . Never again buying from them . Oh and got it for cheaper. Cant support stores that scam the gaming community.

Negative experience: Please stock your baseball cards, why are they never available? Other than that, staff is friendly but lazy, they don't like calling to see who has the cards in stock.

Negative experience: The store sales defective merchandise. I came in for a warranty exchange on my switch because the fan was going out. I was told I could only get a used or refurbished switch with my WARRANTY. I’ve exchanged this switch three more times for the same problem. These are used switches, that have been deemed acceptable for trade in and resale. Then my husband and I were profiled by a store associate because we keep coming in to exchange the switch for a new one, mind you serial number matches every time. They’re literally out here selling people messed up equipment and if you don’t get the warranty you’re screwed and if you do get the warranty you’re screwed.

Negative experience: GOT SCREWED OVER! I asked one of the employees if they had any black Friday sales going on before the actual black Friday and the employee said yes; so I decided to make a purchase thinking i got a good deal; and trusting the employee turns out i didn't get a good deal

Fantastic experience: Very good location for some video game merchandise, i went for pokemon cards and i found some really good stuff there

Negative experience: No one answers the phone, employees have no clue whats going on. Pre-orders get lost.

Negative experience: Went in and asked for a specific game after a nice and friendly greeting from workers today. It took me, however, a whole conversation to try and convince both workers that what I’m looking for exists and only got my clear answer “no we don’t carry” after I stepped away to pull up and show them official details from Nintendo website off of my phone. I felt that the workers were very dismissive of me; they didn’t check their system once the whole time I was in there and I basically had to find my answer myself.

Positive experience: Jump in here before or after your Target trip to get the games you want! Plenty of parking, usually

Negative experience: I'm extremely irritated with the fact this corporation offered a pre order gift but didn't have enough to fulfill the online and in store pre orders for the Zelda tears of the kingdom. An employee stated they didn't have enough to even fulfill 60% of the orders which is pathetic. Step it up guys

Fantastic experience: Review for July 2021. The GameStop located in antelope valley Mall in West Palmdale California 93551. I'm not guilty, to say that I appreciate the customer service here. I pre-ordered a game about 2 months ago and it's ready for pickup 7/6/21. They were nice enough to allow me to come a couple of days after the release of the game. Which I really appreciate cuz I wasn't able to come in at the time it was released. Thank you so much to the staff at GameStop for all their exceptional customer service. It shows that they really care about their customers.

Stock is somewhat decent, but if you ever find yourself at this location trying to trade, buy, or get your warranty, Johnny is the guy to see. He's so helpful and really tries to solve any issues! Negative experience: This GameStop is cancer the manager there with the red eyes scams everyone that shops there I go there to trade in my game they give me $1 for it then I see it on the self the next time I go there for $40 I go in there to buy Fallout 3 the same guy the manager with the red eyes sells the game I go home to play it there’s no game In the case I go back there the same day I tell him there was no game in the case and he didn’t believe me and wouldn’t give me my money back or the game when I had my receipt

Negative experience: Space is packed with games and toys lining the wall so it's hard to find exactly what your looking for. It was pretty busy when we visited but even once we got to the front of the line and asked for help the employee was completely unhelpful and unwilling to talk to us about which console would be best for beginning gamers.

So I left and when I got home, I opened it and nothing was in plastic. The power cord was not wrapped like it was from factory. And their was no instructions. It was definitely used.

Positive experience: Went to the GameStop on Valley central way in Lancaster, their system said they had a controller in stock but they couldn't find it, so their system said the only other one that had one controller left was on 10th St. West Palmdale. We get their and the systems still said they had the controller, yet this store as well couldn't find it. So at this point 2 stores and they both couldn't find what they claimed was the last controller in stock even though the one in Palmdale did still have other controllers still available even though their system didn't show that they did. We get to our destination and open the boxes, the console was upside down in the box, one of the brand new unopened games was just moving around in the case. Also the GameStop in Lancaster on Valley Central way didn't want to abide by the listed price of the console, even one worker said it was on said but the other said that price wasn't for that particular one.. but after all the time we had to spend in the line we weren't about to walk out empty handed so went ahead and paid the difference. Had to settle at both stores because they both have long lines that take forever to get through so it makes you not want to waste your time. And there had been a time or 2 they sold us games that didn't work but they claimed they did work and they also said they don't sell things that don't work.
