Negative experience: Shows open at 10am but store is still closed tight at 10:45am. Don't know what time it really opens cause even the sign on the window says 10am open time. Hopefully either better management or business hours are corrected.
Positive experience: The employees here at this, GameStop were amazing people they’re super nice and helpful. My problem is that the stench inside of GameStop is so bad.
Negative experience: Preordered a game and didn't get the stuff that was supposed to come with it cause they got a total of 4 of them for th dozens or preorders. Edit: have arrived at opening for a game release and they are never open on time. Currently almost 30 min late opening. Others in line say this is normal for location. Trash
Negative experience: I am submitting this complaint to formally document an unresolved billing issue and repeated failures in communication and follow-through by store management. I placed an order through the GameStop app after the system indicated the product was available in stock at my local store. During checkout, without my authorization or request, the system changed my order to shipping instead of in-store pickup. I went to the store in person to address this issue. The store manager advised me to purchase the same product again in the store, assuring me that the original online order would be canceled and that I would be notified when the shipped item arrived. I relied on this information and made the in-store purchase. I was never contacted, despite the manager’s assurance. When I later contacted the store myself, I was told the order could not be canceled unless I came in person, which I explained was not possible due to work obligations. The manager then stated that the system would automatically cancel the order within three days and issue a refund. Despite this, the order was not canceled, and I was charged twice for the same product. I attempted to resolve this matter responsibly by: Calling the store daily, with calls being ignored Visiting the store three separate times Contacting customer service, where communication issues and lack of understanding prevented resolution and I was incorrectly blamed for the issue
Negative experience: Submitted my cards in for grading 10 days ago and it still say order created. Now I get it does take take but why do I have to call more than 20 times and still no answer. Worst location in Tulsa. I hope they still have my cards and not “ disappear “ like the rest.

He is good with customers and handles a situation like a professional. Thank you for helping out and trying to fix a situation that wasn't neither of our faults. Give the man a raise. He was very patient and was very respectful.
Fantastic experience: I visited Jared at the Tulsa store today and I was welcomed in with a greeting and a smile. I struck up conversation and told him that I'm a S. Louisiana GameStop SGA. My shopping experience was so nice, I'd recommend this location in a heartbeat. The store was neat and clean and very welcoming. I'll definitely come bk to this location when I'm in town next trip.

Negative experience: This Complaint is solely about the store selling Pokemon. Making a 2 item limit per “collection” is insanely selfish to the actual collectors. I waited in line for 2 hours this morning for the blooming waters drop and only scalpers got box’s. The last drop you had a 1 item per person limit! Why did you change it? People walked out with 6 items! You’re gonna sell out that day regardless why help the scalpers? Absolutely unacceptable! Be Better.

Negative experience: This is for GameStop as a whole and not the workers. The workers are great hence the 2 stars instead of 1. But do NOT buy “refurbished” products from ANY GameStop. I’ve bought used from games stops in Oklahoma to California and every. single. time. There is something vital wrong with the product. Yeah the price looks better but it is soooo not worth it. Most recent purchase was an elite controller and the rb button did not work at all…. I’m a heavy COD player so that’s an extremely vital button for it to not work… but I took it back and got all my money back to purchase a brand new one and the awesome employee even added a $5 coupon back onto it since I used 2 when I bought the used one.

Negative experience: I loaded money on my PayPal and it never came, it's been days without any assistance and at this point I feel like I've been robbed. Nobody won't even answer the phone or corporate or district manager has helped me, GameStop has stole my money and I'm pissed

Negative experience: I am giving one star because the associates will pressure you into buying what is essentially a scam. I purchased a PS5 as a Christmas gift in December and was pressured into buying the pro membership. I decided to buy it for the game informer subscription. What they do not tell you is it is for a digital subscription only. I was told I could go through Game Informer’s website to switch my subscription type, which I attempted. After emailing the company, I was told they no longer offered the print magazines as the subscription, but that I could purchase print copies. I was unable to even access my digital subscription and decided to simply get a refund on the membership. The company asked for my information, $ amount, Pro ID number, copy of receipt, etc. which I provided. I have been waiting for over a month now and when I follow up through the email, the only response I receive is that it will take 3-5 business days to process my request.
Positive experience: To busy for one employee. I've never been helped as soon as I walk in there's always a line of people. Don't plan on getting in and out in a timely manner. Unless you walk in and turn around and walk out . That's what I've done the last couple of times. It's ridiculous really.
Negative experience: My partner and I went here just for a casual get out of the house thing. I started getting into console and the girl at the counter I can’t remember her name for the life of me. Was so helpful. I wasn’t sure if this was her associate or her manager but, this associate was so unprofessional, the lady had pink hair. I think their system was down this day? And she interrupted the sales associate I was speaking to, and I just think that was awful. I wish I could make her better. I also got sick at this location. As of recently. I would suggest spraying everything down with disinfect if you can. But, I am a Customer. And I’m sure the manager knows how to run the place… if I ever see one that is.

Fantastic experience: The Best Buy nearby was messy and disorganized, I'd gone in there for Sonic Origins Plus but nobody knew where it was despite the app saying copies were in stock. I walked over to GameStop though, and was surprised. The place was decked out for Sonic's birthday, trailers and speedruns for the Origins games playing on the TV with a bunch of Sonic merch on the table up front. Within less than 2 minutes, I had the game and was on my way as the chill guy who rang me up told me to have a good day. These employees seem to really enjoy their job, I don't like the way GameStop is run as a company, but this is a REALLY good location.

Positive experience: Back when video games were only sold physically a company that sold pre-owned recent releases at reasonable prices at a strong price point was much desired by the market, now, not so much with the advent of programs like Game Pass and Humble Bundle. Unvieling a lan party lobby and a new look is great, but, it comes a day late and a dollar short. Based on what I've seen the remodel will be ill-fortuned even despite the exposure they recieved during the r/WallStreetBets contoversy. Vegas odds say these guys are on their last legs, hopefully, this will open some market share for small businesses like Vintage Stock to succeed.

Negative experience: Tried returning a game for credit in store, that I bought a day before. They said they weren't taking that title. Even though when I bought it, it was the last in stock. When I finally haggle enough to where they took it back. I got a new game, and right after I bought it told me I couldn't return it for any reason. I though you know whatever I'm gonna enjoy this game. Turns out the game I got crashes every five minutes. This is also not the first time it's happened rudest lady imaginable working there. Passive aggressive and impatient as hell

I've been to gaming stores where you have to hunt down someone to help you. It's so nice to get help right off the bat so we could get home and enjoy our new game.

I was on the phone and I sat down in one of the chairs, she comes up and says can I help you with this foul look on her face. I told her to give me a min and turns with a disgusted look on her face and walks away. I went to this store because they have the new upgrade and wanted to play. The people that work at GameStop are normally very pleasant to work with but not this lady. I walked out and went to another store.

Fantastic experience: Came here to get a very specific product for my little sisters birthday. Not only did the ladies at the front desk search their inventory for it, they also helped me look for it among the many other products. They also help you sign up for the rewards program for future reference if I ever needed anything again. They were very nice and helpful. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: It's a great place to go to you can exchange games on store credit to get other games some are used games and systems and controllers and some are brand new and it's one place I have taken my kids to when they were younger to buy games and trade games and accessories at. I still continue to go even though my kids are adults now. I'm still a kid at heart.

Negative experience: Always knowledgeable and friendly. Update on 5/28/2019 we went to exchange two XBOX One controllers. I'm not sure who the guy was by himself but when my son questioned why he couldn't take the controllers without the battery back he became down right rude. Hardly what I expect from a "Prestige" rated store. Very hostile and rude. No customer service. When asked what if the controller came with no backs he just continued to be mean. Definitely avoid and go to another.
