Fantastic experience: Shout out to Dax at the Rimrock Mall store. I purchased a large transformer for my little boy and upon opening it, we found that someone had opened the box, swapped the product, and resealed it. This was an expensive toy. Dax went out of his way to ensure we were taken care of and when the return process was becoming tedious, he called not only the District Manager but corporate as well. Because of him, we got our refund, same day. No corporate hoops. GameStop needs to acknowledge employees like him, they are the reason customers come back. If more stores were ran like this one, GameStop would be a far more competitive and profitable company compared to its competitors.
Negative experience: Your prices on Pokemon cards is disgusting. I’m ashamed to have supported a company when you were being shorted in stock. Great way to pay people back. Hope you go under.
Negative experience: Ruined my controller I was going to trade in they were unattentive to the other customers nirthrr of them knew how to work the system for trade ins. They didn't know how to even look up the controller properly. They kept jamming cords into the controller and twisting it around because they couldn't figure it out. My controller was in complete working order when I brought it in and now it's not working. They were neglegent and unprofessional. They gave me my controller after 20 minutes for this circus they called work and told me to try some other place. Now the controller won't even turn on. I can't believe that this is what people do at their job. I am extremely unsatisfied. If I could leave zero stars I would. Whatever happened to professionalism and treating customers with respect? I will not be returning. And now my controller is broken. Thanks for the excruciating experience .

Negative experience: I honestly wish I could give zero stars, to be honest. My husband and I came into the store looking for the new PGA tour 2K25, my husband looked at the disk and said I can tell you right now that this game has been used as it has a scratch on it. No when we purchased it we did not get the protection plan because we trust it's NEW, he preceeded to tell us that's how it came . Didn't even let us return it as we never even left with it. He was extremely rude and avoided my question all together. Plus hire people with good hygiene my goodness his hair was greasy and he did not smell pleasant. I may never return to your store and we shop very frequently.

Negative experience: I think Dax (thought that was a name tag) helped my son with a toy purchase. He was nice and pleasant enough. The real reason for my review is a “manager” or some person of power came in and was like yelling about we have stuff to do, let’s do it, and said basically he’s going to go do nothing. I’m not sure if this was sarcastic or a play but I was genuinely shocked. The employees suddenly split and hit the sales floor. It may have been warranted but I sensed a power trip and lack of any managerial skills. Felt like abuse honestly. I’ll avoid this location next time so my son doesn’t have to hear and see that again.
Negative experience: Graham sold me a pre order. Been a month and nothing. Waste of my time and money. Customer service is a joke. Spend your money anywhere else.you have been warned. They won't honor their preorders.
Negative experience: They're nice people, but they sold me a broken ps5 controller that was brand new and can't replace it.... BRAND NEW I traded 2 of my own controllers and still paid like 40$ more and they still screwed me.
Fantastic experience: I visited this location on 1/15/2024, and got the help from an associate named Billy. To say he was awesome is an understatement,. I brought my son in to buy new controllers for his switch, he was using money from his allowance for the first time. Billy made the experience wonderful for my son and went above and beyond to make sure my son did not feel rushed counting his money and having patience while I explained the whole process to my kiddo. Thank you Billy
Negative experience: Bought my grandson an oculus which I was told by the sales kid that it was the correct one. Well it wasn’t. I had the receipt for it and my daughter tried to return it only to be told that they needed my credit card, umm hello it was paid with cash! So I went to return it again passed the 15 days and was told no that I couldn’t even though we tried to return the first time in the 15 day grace period and was also told that the sales kid that sold it to us no longer worked there! So what did that have to do with my purchase and return?!

Negative experience: They lost my pre-order In their system and I was told in August and then again on November 15th all of it was still there I had a total of 4 copies for my family pre-ordered 440 dollars worth and their customer support line is a joke. They told me they found it yesterday and now can't today.

She then gets off her cell phone, he asks about a controller which was apparently a lot to ask… she goes and gets the other employee (who was actually busy working) to help him and proceeds to get back on her cell phone! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

The best thing about it is probably getting money back for old games/ equipment. Staff is friendly, and help you will any needs. Overall, 7/10, factoring in location, selection, and service.

Positive experience: I've been going to this store for years. It's a bit on the small size, but the store hasn't lost it's charm after being there for so long. It would be nice to see a bit more apparel but that's kind of a mute point. I don't know what the future holds for this store but I do hope they are going to be around for a little longer, given the current crisis going on.
Fantastic experience: Bought my son a Nintendo switch. Can't wait to see his face when it arrives, he's been talking non-stop about wanting a switch. I plan on taking him in to game stop to get games and accessories because game stop has all the things he'll need. The guy at the front desk was great, he was extremely helpful, I wish I could remember his name so someone can tell him how great he did his job, he seemed to really enjoy working there

No associate said hello, asked if I needed help, etc. I was the ONLY person in the store the entire time I was there and I barely received a glance from either Associate. I dont think I'll be returning to this location for any future purchases. I'd rather spend. Y money somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: Staff is always helpful and ready to answer questions and share their knowledge about games and gaming equipment. The assortment of items for purchase that you can see and inspect in person is also another reason why we like going there.
Positive experience: The only thing that could make this place better would be a bigger PC area or better prices. Still non-the-less the employees especially a certain long time manager make the experience worth a visit. I even found a hidden gem sitting around my room and he was happy to honor the trade in value from the website.
