Fantastic experience: traded in a 3ds a while back. This shop gave me a better price for it then any video game store I've been too, and they sell stuff for better prices then most. The guy behind the counter was very knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions. would definitely recommend going here to anyone who enjoys gaming, new or old.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this place for a few years now. The costumer service here is amazing, they dont always have all the games that I want but they have a pretty good amount of games especially for older systems, and a few for newer systems like PS5 and xbox series x, I bought a PS3 here a couple years ago and it still works perfectly fine I now have probably 10+ games for it. If your looking for a place with amazing prices and older games and consoles this is definitely the place to go.

Fantastic experience: Went here on a hunt for older Video Game stuff, and found something I’ve been wanting for a while. A GBA for only $90, that’s a great price,considering what other people list it for. I also got an NES game, and the guy was so nice that he gave me a small discount on the game. I think I’m gonna make this my main video game store besides GameStop. This guy has a lot of cool things, and the prices are super fair. I would very highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: A true gem in Salem! This is hands down my favorite game store. The selection is great, the prices are always fair, and the atmosphere is welcoming and fun. The owners are incredibly kind (and they both have a great sense of humor) and I genuinely enjoy the conversations had in the store. I always look forward to stopping in!

Fantastic experience: Cool mom and pop shop with retro games and memorabilia. I have gone in several times and the staff is always helpful and are fun to talk with. This has been my go to spot to score games from my youth and I haven't had any issues with my purchases, but the staff always reminds me if I do they will make it right

Fantastic experience: Love game crazy!!! I stumbled upon an original game boy in rough shape recently, didn't even know if it worked. Brought it in and asked if I could try out a game before I made a purchase, "no problem". Stuck in tetris and fired it up, worked like a charm! Even better they had spare parts (screen protector/frame) that made it look like 1989 again. Also prices are super reasonable. I've bought games here from the NES-era up to current times (well my current anyway, which means this century ha!) and have always had a good experience. Thanks game crazy!

Fantastic experience: Great place to find somthing from all gaming consoles. Knowledgeable staff and reasonable prices. Lots of cool stuff to look at as far as Collectibles as well.

Positive experience: Overall this is a good store with decent selection and slightly higher prices than normal. The wall of PS3/PS4/XboxOne/Xbox360 titles is honestly one of the coolest displays I've seen, I really love when stores show off their library like that. Most titles here are in great condition, which partially helps explain why they're about 5-10 dollars more expensive than other stores in Oregon. Apparently this store was broken into and lost some inventory. I hope they're able to regain their stolen games and hopefully bring the prices down a little. The cashier was nice and patient with me as I browsed the store, even offering to buffer some of the games I had already picked while I browsed the store. The only reason I'm knocking a star off is because two of the Xbox games I did find were missing the game discs, which kinda sucked. I hope the store can recover their lost inventory and hopefully show off an even cooler wall of titles in the future.

Negative experience: Don't buy from them, I thought they were legitimate game sellers but guess not. I have bought Xbox360 games from them before and they had no issue, but then I got Halo, the game read, showed the menu and then when I start a campaign it's just an infinite loading screen. this happened TWICE with Mario Kart 8 too, mind you! I think they're selling bootleg discs that have menus, and read, but don't actually play just to scam people from their money. Scummy.

Negative experience: I've sold things here and I've always gotten the feeling that whoever is working didn't want to help me or be there. I gave zero reason to be treated like a pest. I work in customer service and I don't get the attitude because you have to do your job.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming here since 2017. I love collecting games for handhelds, and there is SO MUCH to choose from and new inventory coming in often. Great selection, reasonable prices and the owners are so friendly. I was actually able to snag Silent Hill 2 for a great price, and I'm pretty sure this store alone birthed my love for the PS2. This place has a piece of irreplaceable gaming history, giving me so much nostalgia for the days where I could purchase a DS game and excitedly read the booklet while I ride back home. I will happily give this place all my fun money.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming here since I was 18. I'm now 24, I know the owners, they always greet me with a warm smile, and they treat me with respect. Their prices are unbeatable, sometimes the selection is limited, but rarely. Never have I gone in and not found something to take home. Stop giving game stop all the hype, start supporting local businesses, especially game stores, because besides game stop there are so so few, and game crazy provides a relieving sense of nostalgia/variety that'll let you relive the days where you had more options on where to get your games. You'll feel welcome here, and you're bound to find something awesome.

Negative experience: I bought a 2ds here claiming that it was a part of a super Mario’s 2 set. Took it out the box and the game was defective and the 2ds was not what it was on the box. If you’re looking for a system don’t buy here!! YOU WILL GET A DEFECTED SYSTEM AND/OR GAMES!! AGAIN DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE!!

Fantastic experience: The place of legend. This is a business that deserves the praise and respect for all the years that Game crazy has served. I could not imagine a life without game crazy. This place is of legend. Period. Gamers come all, come quickly, to Oregon's Game crazy and pay your respects and buy some games. All consoles and games have been top notch.

Positive experience: Always enjoy this place as there aren't enough 2nd hand game stores around. And even less places that do buffing. Seems like it was maybe a bad day for the owner, or an issue with people with special needs. Unsure. But either way a good place to go. Maybe not if you need some disc's buffed out. As there seems to be a worry about buffing taking "all day"

Negative experience: Product stock doesn't change, prices are not the greatest, store is very dingy. Hasn't improved in over 8 years.

Negative experience: Don’t waste your money or time I went there a few days ago to get a ps4 controller for my boyfriend.They told me there was only one left. After i bought it they told me when opened I could not return it or get a refund I was a little surprised they didn’t say that before i bought it. But now I know why the controller was broken in multiple spots so disappointed.

Needed a battery replaced on a GBA game not only did he have all the parts on hand he installed the replacement during my visit. Weather you need a obscure vintage console cable or a hard to find vintage game give this shop a visit you won’t regret it they have an excellent selection!

Fantastic experience: Always has good games to buy and great customer service and also whenever you get a game whether it’s ps2 or Xbox 360 the games like face breaker that have no scratches on them ever and also have everything you need whether it’s controllers for a Xbox 360 or it’s color cords for the Xbox 360 as well which is better than most old game stores. 100% recommend coming here for your gaming needs!

Negative experience: My 17yo son has been going here for years to buy and sell games. Recently he sold them a Playstation 4pro with 3 controllers and 24 games. He was given 145$ in cash and 140$ in store credit. When he returned to use his credit , it wasn't there! He was totally ripped off. We won't be shopping here anymore and feel betrayed for being loyal customers these 10 years.

Fantastic experience: For some reason I was scrolling through the reviews and was reading a bunch of 1 star ratings over not being polite, overly priced, not a big selection, and outrageous story’s that were shortly fact checked by the owner (which I find hilarious!) who in my experience has always been kind and a good guy along with his wife. The store may not have the EXACT game you were looking for but the store has a huge selection of games for almost every system with decent prices that if you were to go on Amazon and purchase would be 3x the price. I also see people complaining about how they only got $2 for a $5.99 game… these people need to make a profit to have a business, that’s why it’s called BUSINESS and if you thought that coming here you were going to get $20 for a game you paid $20 for I pray you don’t start a business. But anyway I love this place, I don’t come in too often as I’m not a constant video game player but when I’m in the mood to get a new game this is the first place I go to for the good prices, nice selection of games, good customer service, and truthful management.

Fantastic experience: Although they didn't have what I was looking for the staff was very friendly and they had a bunch of stuff I didn't know I wanted until I saw it. It was like a time machine for retro games. Do not skip out on this place if you're looking for retro games, this store had some gems and I wish I had the money to buy another N64 or Dream Cast. I'm sure things come and go often so check back and call in before heading in, the staff is very helpful and friendly.

There was a young man trying to sell some games while I was there and he did not make a deal and was leaving at the same time I did. Once we were outside I asked him about one of the games that he was trying to sell and we agreed upon a price And I purchased it from him.
