Negative experience: Today, I was shopping with my husband when a store employee (I believe his name was Vex) overheard me mention that the prices were high. He proactively informed us about an in-store deal: "Buy four pre-owned games priced at $19.99 or less for $40 total." This sounded great, so we spent nearly an hour searching and carefully selecting four games that qualified under the price criteria. When we got to the register, the situation became a confusing nightmare. The clerk could not get the deal to ring up. He tried three different registers and kept apologizing, but repeatedly assured us that he would honor the deal because they had promised it.He then had to call the manager (complaining that it was the fourth time that day they had to call them) and then customer service. After a significant amount of wasted time—over an hour combined for shopping and checkout—they finally admitted they could not give us the deal. The manager stated that the sale had ended yesterday. However, all the sale posters and signage were still prominently displayed throughout the store. The original employee's (Vex's) lack of correct information, followed by the complete inability of the staff to resolve the issue they created, was appalling. We wasted over an hour and a half of our day on a false promise. Staff should be trained on active sales, and old sale posters must be removed immediately. I left the store without purchasing anything, feeling completely frustrated and insulted by the unprofessional handling of this situation. I will be taking my business to places that respect my time and provide accurate pricing.
Positive experience: Russo provided the best help, customer service and overall friendliness. Honestly all employees in this store and other GameStop locations should be following by his example. This man needs a raise!

Negative experience: I ordered a console for my son Game stop told me 1-3 business days it's been 2 weeks still havent received anything. When I called 1800 number they had no clue where my package was and couldn't refund my money. Do not waste your time ordering anything from them

Positive experience: Love this place and the staff! I love that they don't just hire anyone. It makes for a nice experience I will however say it would be nice if it was open ever. They don't open until noon and it's not just this location as all of the GameStops around. I really don't understand this. If they were smart they would focus on cards and stuff and open up at 8:00 a.m. and let you do all of your card grading from 8:00 a.m. until say noon and then focus on games. Or something like that. But it's silly that they don't open sooner. Noon?
Positive experience: Had a ONE per customer purchase a couple weeks ago. Now, now it's a joke. Having buddies come into the lines and make things unfair. But, hey ggs go next.
Positive experience: This Gamestop could use a couple people with a bit more knowledge on versions of the game one buys. Had a lady ring me up for a "complete version" of Streets of Rage 4 for Switch, and I asked for assurance that the cart matched what I was buying. Without hesitation she just affirms everything and dismisses my inquiry. I'm a goblin, I like to make sure I am getting what I pay for. Regretfully she was entirely wrong, selling me the wrong game entirely. I had to march all the way back there to right this wrong. Fortunately, the gentlemen there made swift moves to get me my money back. Sadly, I planned on buying something else, but they are also guilty of having pretty light options.

Negative experience: Went in with a gift card and expected to use my monthly $5 off and apparently according to Eric I am not allowed to use them on digital currency. I understand policies and even the website doesn’t allow it but when asked when the policy changed he said in November which is insane to me considering I did the same thing in June. Used a gift card AND my $5 off (which the associate automatically applied so she was great that day).
Fantastic experience: The girl who helped us was amazing! She's very helpful and gives great advise. GameStop should have more employees like her. Store was nice, great spot near Walmart and home Depot.
Negative experience: So a small chubby lady named Sam just asked me to leave the store by me walking in with my small 20lbs god. I had no issues in 4 other Gamestop Stores , nobody ever told me that I cannot enter the store with an animal. So I have been thrown out after 3-4 purchases at Gamestop stores. Spending close to a thousand dollars. And they treat me like this?? No no. This lady will take responsibility for her rude behavior

Fantastic experience: Just came from the store. The person behind the counter is so knowledgeable and sweet! My experience at the store was simply amazing. I didn't catch her name but the receipt said Sam. She went above and beyond to find us several 4+ gamers Nintendo Switch games and explained then very well. We went for 1 game and left with 2 games because she got us excited about the games! You guys got a great employee and valuable person working Sunday evenings for you GameStop. Congrats!
Negative experience: Tried calling this location three times. They didn’t answer the first two times and on the third time I got placed on a hold where I waited at least seven minutes and then gave up. Decided to drive over to the store but they’re closed for an entire hour in the middle of the day for some reason.
Fantastic experience: The staff/owner were very cool. I had come across some games and took them in to sell. They bought a couple for a couple of bucks. That wasn't a problem. Just the conversation was worth the trip.
Negative experience: Tried trading in a PS5 for in store credit and my controller wasn’t working 100% there is a slight drag on the left joystick that I wasn’t aware of, but they test machine was able to see it. So they were going to drop the credit $138? Didn’t make sense that they would drop it that much when a brand new controller only cost half that. Anyways I said I have a working controller that I can bring in, they said “you should take it to Level 7” so, Instead of doing business with me, they basically just told me to go and not come back! There is no Customer Service, I felt like I was being challenged, and I felt very uncomfortable doing business with the employees. If you’re a pro member and you like GameStop, skip this store.

Negative experience: I ordered a game online and went here to pick it up. That’s all I came here to do. I got in line behind a couple and I left almost 15 minutes later. They were a couple of very ignorant people about anything having to do with gaming. Instead of doing a little research prior to coming here to make a purchase they asked the very friendly GameStop employee some of the stupidest questions I have ever heard people ask about gaming. The GameStop employee had the patience of a saint. I do not. There was another employee at the front door handing out Black Friday fliers. When asked if he could get the game for me he informed me that he was just seasonal and couldn’t do anything with the cash register but I could have a flier! So there was really only 1 employee in the store while they were having an early Black Friday sale. Not ideal. The couple in front of me, very confusingly, wound up buying a PS5. Cause why not?!?
Positive experience: Friendly staff. I had an online order to pickup. There was supposed to be an additional $5 off if you picked up in store. I didn't receive the additional $5 off, but the store employee provided me the quickest way to solve the issue. I got my game and additional discount.
Negative experience: Service employee today told me if I needed anything to ask him and proceeded to work even when I needed help . Stores a dump and prices are already high as is . Wish I could've gotten help or at very best a good discount . Won't ever shop here again !(:
Fantastic experience: The guy working yesterday, primo dude. We ordered something online and went to pick it up but they actually didn't have it in stock. Not his fault. He took the time to figure out how to refund me back even.
Negative experience: Bought a "refurbished" switch from this location. When we opened it up at home we discovered that it was missing the stand which was easy to see when you open the package. I would never shop at this location again if they cannot even check for something as simple as the stand being included. Luckily the shop at 88th and sheridan was able to help.

Positive experience: It was fine. The used items were not much cheaper than the new. There was a sale that the cashier knew nothing about, but we got the discount. No better or worse than anywhere else for video games.
Negative experience: My family and I have gone to this store for years, and I have always had a good experience and honestly prices are decent. Today However I had the worst experience, I went in to purchase a few games for my daughter since I saw a few flyers on the door which stated they were having a buy 2 get 1 free sale. My brother, nephews, and I were excited so we went in. It was about 11:30am and it's now almost 1pm so you can tell how long we spend there trying to find the best deals. As I pull to the register to pay, the employees pulled down the signs and told me the deal was over since yesterday. I was a little disappointed to hear that since that was the main reason we went inside in the first place. While I was having this conversation with the guy at the register the guy on the back was being rude badmouthing me in front of my brother, and kids. He asked under his breath "don't you know how to read?" "why don't you just go buy somewhere else?". Now not only did I waste my time, I was also disrespected in the process infront of my family, and to make matters worse I came out empty handed with no games. I wish they'd had pulled down the flyers before opening the store, or had the decency to let us know the deal was over when we stepped inside. What upsets me the most is the fact that this company which I have supported for so long hires people who act this way. I would recommend for this company to be more careful with the people they hire because people like these make the rest of the good company employees look bad.
Fantastic experience: Walked in and was welcomed by Anthony who although told me what I was looking for was not in stock went out of his way to check other locations. They were super friendly even had a conversation about upcoming product I was interested in. He found what I was looking for at a different gamestop. I wish the local gamestop I go to had such an awesome associate!
Fantastic experience: I'm usually the first to criticize GameStop these days, but this store is great. Not only are games the primary focus of the store, unlike other GameStops, but the selection of games is fantastic. It's not endless walls of sports games and shovel-ware, there are actual good games here.

Negative experience: The hispanic lady working had a customer infront of me who happend to be hispanic as well for his return they only asked his birth date did not require a i.d. from said customer who age i could have question for being above 18 or 21. When i got to the desk and asked for a game in my work clothes from mechanics clearly being above age of she demand i have an i.d i asked if i can give her my brithdate as im wating for my appointment at the DL office to get my id whice is 2 months out and she waited for a sec like trying to think of what to say and said no because of cameras, which means she shouldn't have taken the last customer just not fair if you're going to require and ID require it from everybody that you need it from very unprofessional staff
Negative experience: I went to trade in some games and they were absolutely low balling me beyond belief. The brand new ufc4 on Xbox tat I just bought from them with protection plan was almost $90. I played it for a few hrs and didn’t like it so figured I’d rather trade it towards a new controller but when I went to trade it in they offered me $10 trade value! I was blown away, I didn’t expect anything near full price but that was an absolute ridiculous offer
Negative experience: The website and the store leader almost had my daughter in tears. It with her first game purchase that she baby sat and saved for. The website said one thing and we showed them and the store said something else. They said the price was for used when there was no used in the entire system.. Horrible first experience for a future gamer that asked for her first game be from GS. I told her to buy from Walmart or Amazon in the future for trouble free shopping confidence in the advertised price or they will make it right... Text walled at the end sorry.

Positive experience: I've been going here for a little while and it's hit or miss sometimes if you're looking for some used games. One time the ds game case was almost completely empty, which I thought was kinda weird because I was there a week before and it was full? Maybe they were just restocking or something. But overall, the place is great. Very friendly staff.
Negative experience: The Store Manager Sasha is horrible! I made a online purchase we an Order Confirmation, name and Proof of payment.... She was too lazy to grab my order and requested I come back in 3 hours.. I was already at the store? She obviously doesn't understand retail, customer or her company's system. I do not want to receive an apology replay to repair this transaction... I tried to resolve the issue when I was there and you were unwilling to solve it.
Negative experience: This 1 star is for gamestop customer service and not the store itself..i had bought an avengers jewelry set and when i got it home one of the magnets broke in half. I contacted gamestop customer service the next day explaining what happened. They said theyd send me a new one after almost a week. I had contacted then again and anywhere when and where they were sending it. No response.. After almost 2 weeksi decided to just return it to the thrornton location took almost a half hour after the called 2 different help desk lines and another store. After alot of nothing they ended uo returning my money.i posted a review on the website about the product and they refused to publish it. So clearly they only put stuff online that will make em look better. Customer service is a joke. Dont bother now i know why these store are shutting down
Fantastic experience: I walked in and was welcomed right off the bat. The cute girl behind the counter asked me what I was looking for as I walked by the counter. I was last minute Christmas shopping and she was kind enough to ask me who I was shopping for and a little bit about them. She then helped me look for things that I might like. She did and amazing job and deserves a raise. I really appreciated her the customer service.
Fantastic experience: The guys (and gals) here always have a happy and almost family like sense of humor. And they're interactions are what keep me coming back to this GameStop despite others in the area. I could imagine getting all my games and hardware like anywhere else. Highly recommend! Negative experience: Lady with the long dark hair and glasses is very rude and unprofessional. Made me wait in line with no one there and held a conversation with a coworker until she was ready. Continued to have a conversation with coworker making my total time in store unnecessarily longer! Drive the extra few miles and drive else where to get better service!
Fantastic experience: The young man who rung me up went above and beyond for us. We went in wanting to buy a PS4 headset and this young man gave us the details and his own experience with the headset we wanted. In the end he saved us money and time. He even searched other stores for the pop funko toy I wanted. GREAT TEAM!!!
Negative experience: The old manager Dustin is Absolutely Amazing, unfortunately, he is no longer here at this store and the new manager is horrible! The staff is completely new, and the new manager, an Asian American man, is horrible to work with. Avoid this place and go to other locations! The store off 104th & federal is much better. Better customer service and better management.
Negative experience: Appalled by the disrespect and smug nature of the two closing tonight. Was all but told I was a lier and stupid. When they didn’t know new Nintendo 3DS Xl systems don’t come with charges. Witch is stupid but true. So they disrespectfully said we don’t take them without the charger they all come with one. Insinuating I didn’t know what I was talking about and didn’t buy the thing. Also only store ever to not let me use my family account because name didn’t match even tho I can recite every line of info related to account as I’m the primary user. Just a horrible experience not only all that it also felt they were being that way because it was 10 min to close and they were already trying close security doors. Hands down worst employees I’ve had the misfortune of dealing with. Rude condescending and unknowledgeable. Avoid this place
Negative experience: Bought a new game that wasn't secured in the case but I thought it was the game guide. Got home opened it up and game was scratched. Returned it and they gave me a used copy and didn't offer to refund the difference. If you buy a game make sure nothing is rattling inside the case. Michael who sold me the game was apologetic and this review doesn't reflect him. But whoever did the exchange didn't seem to care. I think I will just download games and stop going into game stop completely.
Fantastic experience: Great Customer Service! helped me with A LOT of Trade ins (around 100 games, accessories, and consoles (around $620 worth with the 50% bonus trade when trading 4 or more games Right now!) after a speedy 30-45 min. thorough check of everything as expected to test everything, check for wear, etc. I was then able to find everything i needed in-store. really great and nice employees here! way better than 104th & Federal and 120th & Washington Customer Service BY FAR! Other stores can learn something from these lovely people!
Fantastic experience: This GameStop may be small but this was the best GameStop experience I've had ever. The main guy we worked with was Duane. He was very polite, honest, courteous and knowledgeable. He helped us out a lot and we were very surprised by the professionalism. I would give this place a 4.5 stars only because Andrew was a little rude at first but tried to keep it as professional as possible. But Duane made it all better as he was more than helpful and just a good guy. I'll definitely go here over the GameStop on 120th and Washington.
Negative experience: With the launch of the Switch, I was looking to buy an accessory to protect my screen. I could've bought one online, but I wanted to protect my device as soon as possible. I grabbed what I thought was the corresponding package, only to be told they were sold out. I asked why have the box on display if they don't have the item and was told the purpose of the box was to prove the item exists. Frustrated, I walked away from the counter - only to be meet by a chorus of rude employees as they continued to accelerate the frustrating experience. Admittedly, once out of the store, I did use some expletives, but again, only in response to their poor customer service. Suffice it to say, I will never set foot in or spend any money at Gamestop ever again.
Negative experience: Called and tried to put product on hold. Guy said he had one and has been on hold since yesterday. They always only hold till the end of the day. They dnt even follow there own policy. Good thing I just moved from this one
Fantastic experience: What a great shopping experience. The sales associate was so helpful and knowledgeable. I was getting stuff for my 7 year old son, and I know nothing about video games. The staff made it such a comfortable and easy experience and I will go to them for any needs I have for my sons future video game needs!!
Fantastic experience: These guys are awesome, I have never been to a GameStop better than this one, Their customer service is excellent and the staff always has all of the info about everything in the store. I actually travel about 35 miles out of my way just to go to this specific store. Its always clean and well set up and their used product is always in Excellent condition great job guys.
