Experiencia negativa: Will no longer be shopping at GameStop for anything Pokemon related. Had an absolute terrible experience at this store. Lady who opened the store to proceeded to scream in my child’s face with an atrocious attitude. Waited there for hrs with my kids just to be told that the 2 person limit was being switched to one which would be okay if she didn’t proceed to tell us that the booster bundle coudnt be purchased without a GameStop account and my kids had to be 13 years old to make one. So my 10 year old children who had been waiting for hrs coudnt even get a box. Cherry on top is they up charged us 40$ for the box msrp is 26. So GameStop is another shotty reseller in my eyes.

Called customer service and they told me I would have to restart everything and pay again for my membership. No thanks. Hopefully I can get it canceled cause now I have no access to even cancel it.

Experiencia negativa: Poor customer service. But I guess that's expected with game stop right. Walked in asked the person working behind the counter if they had any xbox S series. I got an immediate no they have none instock at their store. How ever online it says that there are 2 available at that store specifically. The employee didn't even look it up or entertain anything other than him saying no to me. Don't go to this store with this type of customer service that they couldn't even confirm. Leads me to believe they are holding it for themselves or a family friend perhaps. Either way I'll never return to this location. This was on July 19th 2024 at 645pm. Just for reference incase perhaps the company wants to know which employee it was. He was white about 5'10 balding. Maybe give him more training on customer service. It takes nothing to say let me look it up whether he does or doesn't at least it's not blatant disregard for customers. We drove out of our way because that location said there were 2 available.

Experiencia negativa: Bought a used disk. I went to download it crashed half way through. They do a bad job a checking used disks. Never trusting these guys again.

Experiencia negativa: Placed a pre-order for spiderman 2 on PS5 and was told by the workers the day before release 10/18/23 that the release time for the store would be 12AM CST, when arriving at 11:45 the gates where down. Sat there waiting for them to open it and they but say "you guys missed it, it was 11pm, sucks to suck." And closed the security gate. Horrible management. Great workers besides being told the wrong time. I recommend just shopping literally anywhere else.

Experiencia positiva: Usually a pleasant experience. Employees are always friendly and willing to help. However, I am not sure if the store is either accepting returns, distributors or employees are doing it. But, i seem to have came across multiple instances of resealed Pokémon cards. Packs and boxsets tend to be missing code cards and have a constant reoccurring packs with no hits sometimes lacking rares and code cards all together. They will not work with you on returns which seems like a very convenient way to pull this off. Aside from that, great store!

Experiencia negativa: paid for Mario Kart Nintendo switch for my grandson for his birthday December 14th, paid for it online, it was the last one in the store. They sold it instead of pulling it off the shelf and will now only offer INSTORE CREDIT for $370!! They REFUSE to refund it! This was their mistake! We've been on the phone, to the store in person, on the phone with customer service. We've been calling every single day. A relative bought one in Tulsa so we're out x2 on this unit and want the $$$ back. Do not do business with this store.

Experiencia negativa: Don't bother calling this store, the phone message thong always says they are experiencing technical difficulties. Also I went in a couple days ago, 11/4, to pay off my GoW pre-order and I'm pretty sure the attendant did my trade-ins wrong. I'm a pro member and the trade‐in games rung up 32.00(Horizon Forbinden West PS5), 32.00(The Quarry PS5), and 27.20(Kena: Bridge of Spirits PS5) everything totalled 91.20. Instead of the attended putting everything on a gift card like GAMESTOP always does she somehow messed everything up and removed my pro member from the transaction which lowered the price of my trade in value and put 15.00 towards GoW and gave the rest to me in cash, the cash she pulled out was 35.16. I'M MISSING 41.04 SOMEWHERE. I ended up paying off the rest of the pre-order and I did not have the energy to fight her on the issue that she messed up. I asked her several tile to stop the transaction so I could come back later and have a tenured attendent assist me, because she was new. What baffles me is that she didn't ask for help. After I pick up my pre-order, I'm not shopping her ever again, I'll be taking my business to the gamestop on telephone road
Experiencia negativa: My friends and I went in here today to get the new shiny Eternatus event Pokémon, well a red head lady told us that the free Pokémon required we buy the new game despite gamestops website and Pokémon’s website saying no purchase necessary. She started getting loud with us insisting that her manager told her that purchase was indeed required and we left. We went to the SW 3rd store and they told us that she did indeed lie and that she was just trying to make a sale and even gave us a couple extra codes as an apology. Definitely will not be back to this location.

I see someone inside and she mouths to me, “We’re not open.” Posted hours say you’re open until 9pm, but you’re closed in the middle of a Saturday afternoon?

Experiencia positiva: Love GameStop. My boyfriend and I go at least once a month. Best place for rewards on preorders. Went in tonight for my pre-order of Pokemon Arceus. I was informed that I came in at 11 p.m. for the early game launch for no reason. Because my receipt was not "finalized" I could not pick up my copy of the game or get the pre-order (1st come, 1st serve) pre-order art cards that come with the game. I was advised that the systems are closed and nothing could be done. I will give a compliment to the lady who stood in the cold after hours explaining the situation. But a huge complaint to Mike who sold me my pre-order 3 days prior and said all I had to do was come pick up my copy at 11p.m. on the night of release. As well as a huge complaint to the lady who stood in line saying she worked at Gamestop for 7 years and this is the way it has always been. I have picked up midnight releases in the past and never had this problem. The lady who worked the release at least sympathized with the situation and gave me the art cards so I at least wouldn't miss out on that. She turned a complaint into a compliment and is the only reason I will return to Gamestop. Honestly though, if you have a scorned ex employee slandering the supervisor literally outside the store, that doesn't look well for the company. As previously stated, the only reason I will return is because of the kindness shown by the current employee.

I have been in my car the whole time I watched her walk to her car sit in for about a hour waited for all the cars to leave in front and then walks to the store not moving the sign just lock the door right behind her she's been on break for more than an hour its 7:17pm I have been outside since 5:59pm and still hasn't remove the sign I'm leaving worst gamestop ever

The outside stragglers that linger around the business is the only downside so be prepared to get asked for $,cigarettes or change. Keep your kids close and a safe distance. Management please take care of these stragglers that wait for you to come out of your establishment and the other shops on that strip.
